Abstract

Catfish (Clarias sp.) is one of the freshwater commodities that is favored because of its high economic value, rich in protein, can be cultivated in narrow land or yards and of course much in demand by the public. Efforts to develop in cultivation continue to be made, including an increase in seed production. The purpose of this activity is to provide training to partners in this case are students of the Department of Fisheries Cultivation, SMKN 1 Sebatik Barat regarding the semi-artificial spawning system (injection mating) and enrichment of feed with turmeric flour to support increased production and quality of catfish seeds. The methods used are socialization and counseling with lectures, hands-on practice related to injecting mating techniques with ovaprim hormone and making feed enriched with turmeric flour. The results of the activity showed an increase in partner knowledge regarding the benefits of turmeric and the role of hormone use in hatchery activities. In addition, partners have also been able to select gonadally mature broodstock, make feed enriched with turmeric flour and perform injection mating of catfish with hormones appropriately. The hope for follow-up is that partners can apply the techniques that have been learned for hatchery activities so that the scarcity of seeds, especially in West Sebatik, can be overcome and no longer have to bring in from outside

Abstract

The lack of student skills, especially in the practice of tax reporting and socialization of tax reporting for students, makes training necessary for students, where this understanding will be embedded in the minds of students when they can become taxpayers. Therefore, the community service team at the Semarang University proposed training activities on MSME taxation for students at SMKN 2 Semarang. The purpose of holding this activity is to provide tax reporting practices in accordance with applicable regulations and increase self-awareness to comply with paying taxes. Community service activities in the form of MSME taxation training are packaged in seminars containing hands-on practice, namely the practice of simple income tax calculations, as well as the final tax reporting mechanism (Final Income Tax) using the DJP System in accordance with the latest tax laws. Tax training was held in October 2022 in the SMKN 2 Semarang. After the activity is carried out, the results of the pretest and posttest can be concluded that students can understand the steps for reporting MSME business taxation properly and correctly according to applicable regulations. Therefore, tax training especially for MSMEs must be carried put early on to raise awareness of tax reporting for graduates, especially those who are going to be entrepreneurs and work so that they can carry out MSME business tax reporting practices properly and correctly according to applicable regulations

Abstract

In the era of the rise of online games among underage children which can be freely accessed via mobile phones, and causing children's interest in learning to continue to decline over time. Apart from the fact that online games are increasingly mushrooming among children, the decline in children's interest in learning is also due to a decrease in the learning methods used which are also boring. this is also very visible among children who live in rural areas due to the lack of updating of parents and the existing education system in rural areas, which is still monotonous. This will become a very serious problem if it continues. This also happened to several children in sialang village. because of this the process of providing assistance is also carried out through field work practices or PKL II students of social welfare sciences, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of North Sumatra by applying the discussion method in learning. This method has the aim of increasing children's interest in learning and training children to exchange ideas and learning processes as well as daily activities. Apart from that, a mini project was also carried out at the practicum this time, namely by making an intervention, specifically an intervention that aims to help several children in the unlucky village in solving the problems they are experiencing.

Abstract

in writing The purpose of writing this article is to look at the Medan City government's efforts to deal with the need for Social Welfare Services (PPKS), especially Street Children based on Medan Mayor Regulation Number 6 of 2003 concerning the Prohibition of Begging and Begging in Medan City which is carried out by the Medan City Social Service in coordination with the Civil Service Police Unit. Praja (Satpol PP) of Medan City and in collaboration with the Medan City Police. This journal discusses the process of dealing with Homeless and Beggars through the Social Rehabilitation Program carried out by the Medan City Social Service. Social rehabilitation is basically to restore and develop the abilities of someone who experiences social dysfunction so that they can carry out their social functions properly. The method in writing this journal is to use the group work stage method in general (general).

Abstract

SMK Pariwisata Telkom Bandung is a school that is under the auspices of the Yayasan Pendidikan Telkom and is a partner in this community service program. The problem faced by partners is the limited level of knowledge and skills of schools in using information and communication technology (ICT) which causes a lack of innovation implemented in school, especially in the financial function. The solution offered in the program is to provide training and assistance in terms of digitalization school financial services based on cashless payment to support innovation in school financial services. The results of participant feedback have shown that the program can positively provide digital literacy education related to the recent financial technology. Therefore, this program contributes to strengthening and improving the ability to manage school financial services. In addition, this community service activity also produces an appropriate technology in the form of a cashless payment-based school finance application.

Abstract

The coastal area of ​​Kabung Island is an area of ​​Karimunting Village, Bengkayang Regency, which has a population of around 300 families, whose main livelihood is fishing. Water conditions are very risky due to bad weather, such as strong waves, making it impossible to go to sea, causing new activities for people to plant gardens by utilizing makeshift land and plantation commodities along the hills on the island.Apart from coconuts and cloves, nutmeg is a plantation commodity that is widely available in this region. The training for the processing of syrup from the flesh of the nutmeg for the people of Kabung Island is to improve the skills and welfare of the people of Kabung Island who have previously carried out simple processing of nutmeg by drying the seeds and making candied nutmeg. The training is carried out by direct processing of nutmeg in front of the Kabung island community who are also participants in this activity.This activity was attended by 50 participants consisting of 15 men and 35 women. Based on the questionnaire before the activity started, it showed that 40% had already known and read about the processing of nutmeg syrup, while 30% of the participants had made simple syrup preparations from nutmeg pulp. Then the evaluation conducted after the activity showed that 80% of the participants were able to make good nutmeg syrup, including packaging and labeling of the resulting products.

Abstract

Community service is one of the pillars of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, in addition to the Dharma of Education and Teaching and the Dharma of Research. This time, the Ketapang Polytechnic Community Service Program aims to apply knowledge that can be used by the public in the prevention of the spread of Covid-19 which can be contagious in crowded places.Covid-19 is a virus that is easily transmitted through human touch and from human beings to human beings, and it can be said that the Covid-19 virus is easily transmitted in crowded places in the community. One of the most crowded places in the community is the traditional market, which is still active, namely the traditional BUM Desa Karya Maju market which is located on the Poros Sukadana-Ketapang road, Muara Pawan District, Suka Maju Village.Through the Community Service Program the initiative to make a tool that can overcome the prevention of the spread of covid-19. One method of preventing Covid-19 is to always wash your hands after touching so as to make an automatic sink faucet based on the Arduino UNO microcontroller. The tools that are made can be moved according to the expectations of the partners. The components of the tool are the seat frame, barrel, sink, wheels and control components. The control components consist of an adapter, charger module, battery, switch, Arduino UNO module, relay module, ultrasonic sensor and PMPA DC.

Abstract

The Indonesian nation is facing an era where horizontal conflicts often occur. Especially in the era of digital progress and the era of disruption that forces people to use technology to communicate, do business and so on. So that in the era of disruption, many hate speech accessed in cyberspace can threaten unity in the real world. By using a literature study approach, this paper intends to explain how Christians have an impact and become agents of truth through living in harmony and being pioneers in harmony. It was concluded that for Christians, harmony must also be done in a real place in the community as well as in the social media community which is now called the era of globalization in the era of disruption. Through the era of disruption and challenges, Christians can understand that any situation and condition still contributes to the diversity of the nation. It is also in line with the Basic Christian Faith in the harmony which can then be actualized by Christians in society in an era of disruption

Abstract

This community service aims to implement information technology-based learning using the online Mentimeter application which uses the internet network as an alternative choice for teaching and learning activities due to the Covid 19 pandemic, where the spread of the plague causes the highest number of deaths and requires social and physical distancing to break the chain. the spread of Covid 19. The Mentimeter Application Increases the knowledge of teachers in the use of online material delivery in the use of the Mentimeter application of learning. Improve teacher professionalism in using the Mentimeter application in classroom learning.In this case the writer uses the Mentimeter Application as a medium for making material or questions with Mathematics which aims to understand how to make a percentage to students, so that learning is faster or up to date as needed. So that the truth of the content of the material conveyed greatly affects the quality of the resulting value.

Abstract

This community service was performed at the home industry of G&R Masohi Shope in Lesane Village, Masohi City District, Central Maluku Regency. This devotional activity is carried out with the aim to: 1) provide understanding and assistance to partners "G&R Masohi Shop" regarding the correct recording of business finance in accordance with accounting rules to know the development of partner business, 2) Provide understanding and assistance to partners "G&R Masohi Shope" ways and procedures of managing halal certificate of products from LP-POM MUI Maluku Province, in order to obtain permission to list halal labels on product packaging. The method of implementing community service activities used by the service team to solve partner problems is the method of training and mentoring. The result of this devotional activity is 1) The Partner is able to do the financial recording of his business well so as to maintain the existence and sustainability of his business, 2) The partner obtains halal certificate of sago tambu products from LPPOM MUI Maluku Province which can be included in the packaging of fresh tuna fish abon products G&R Masohi Shop
