Abstract

The craft of marine wood waste has been practiced for almost 10 years by the UKM Fortuna Handycraf whose products have been exported to various countries in Europe and America. However, during a pandemic, SMEs find it difficult to increase productivity due to various constraints such as constraints on production technology, marketing and managerial capacity. The Indonesia Bangkit UKM Program provides solutions to overcome these problems, namely solutions to technological capacity constraints by procuring production machines such as cutting machines, sitting drilling machines, compressor machines, work tables and wheelbarrows. Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has brought changes and new habits in society. Covid-19 cases in Indonesia and the world are still increasing, so it is very worrying. One effort that can be made to avoid viral infections and diseases including Covid-19 is to maintain immunity through the consumption of functional foods containing bioactive substances such as empon-empon, ginger, Moringa leaves, lemon, honey, etc. Dasawisma 1 (Dawis 1) at RT 03/24 Jebres Subdistrict Jebres Surakarta District is one of the target partners to be given knowledge and understanding of efforts to maintain body immunity with the introduction of family herbal drinks. The method is carried out through several stages of activity, namely Phase I, Counseling, Delivery of Materials, Brochures & Posters of Healthy Food Keeping Immune. Phase II, Delivery of Concoction Materials & Benefits of Family Herbal Drinks. Stage III, Introduction & Practice of Family Herbal Drinks Manufacturing. Activity evaluation using pretest, postest and practical assessment methods. The indicators of the success of the activities are the increase in the average value of partners, the involvement of partners and the ability of partners to practice making family herbal beverage products.

Abstract

The source of electricity for the Taman Tiga Generasi facility, a Green Open Space in the City of Balikpapan, is highly dependent on PLN sources, resulting in an electrical energy crisis. Also, not all parks have facilities and infrastructure such as benches for visitors to sit on. Community service aims to apply electric bench technology with solar cell electricity generation for parks and implement Appropriate Technology products for the community based on solutions to partner problems. This community service method considers the health protocol in which the process is carried out directly and is limited. The stages are (1) Application of solar cell electricity technology to provide electricity for garden facilities; (2) Training by service team for partners regarding the operation and maintenance of electrical bench products with solar cell power supply; (3) Counseling regarding the conservation of electrical energy for partners. This community service resulted in a multifunctional electric bench product as a seat, as a place to charge mobile electronic devices, and as a source of lighting for the garden area with a solar panel-based power supply. Community service activities as part of the realization of alternative solar cells for electricity generation in Indonesia in saving electrical energy.

Abstract

Autocad is an application that supports image creation in the engineering design field. This application is able to design technical drawings, plans, buildings and other objects. The problem is, how can we skillfully utilize the facilities provided by Autocad, so that it can make a significant advantage compared to manual drawing. The objectives of the science and technology application program are (1) To provide knowledge and skills about image processing programs (2) To improve student skills in completing image tasks using the Autocad program. The method used in the science and technology application program is the provision of theory and hands-on practice as outlined in the training module. In addition, drawing exercises were also carried out during the activity. The evaluation of the science and technology application activity program about improving the skills of Univet students through the operation of the autocad program is that training in the operation of the autocad program can provide knowledge and skills in students in completing drawing tasks given by lecturers and changes in student competencies (knowledge and skills). in using the computer. This is evident from the average results of drawing exercises and the final grades carried out by the students participating in the training by 75%, previously students were still unfamiliar with operating the autocad program.

Abstract

The rapid development of the times has made many changes in the entire scope of human life. From social behavior, technology, environment, climate and many other things. The environment is one of the things that is close to human life. The behavior towards waste has become a culture that is rooted in society. This has an impact on the mindset of the community regarding waste that is not appropriate. It takes care and concern for cleanliness in the environment. This form of concern can start from the family where there are children in it. According to R.A. Kosnan "children are young people at a young age, their souls and life journeys are easily influenced by their surroundings". In addition to environmental changes, another thing that can also be seen is the impact of parenting behavior in the field of education. There is also an increasing variety of parenting efforts for children, one of which is the application of literacy that can be started from early childhood. Literacy is a term that refers to a series of individual abilities and skills with reading, writing, speaking, calculating and solving problems in a certain level of expertise needed in everyday life. Through cultural literacy Field Work Practice is an activity related to children, literacy, and waste processing. Through the literacy of plastic waste processing, it aims to increase public awareness, and foster children's sensitivity to waste. Children also need an attitude of love for the surrounding environment. This will make people's stigma towards waste will change and start healthy living behavior and maintain the cleanliness of the living environment.

Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) is an infectious disease whose development is very fast and has become a pandemic in several countries, including Indonesia. The use of masks is one of the efforts recommended by WHO to prevent the spread of Covid-19. The purpose of this community service was to increase knowledge through socializing the use of masks and distributing 2000 of 3-ply masks to community in Tasikmalaya City and Tasikmalaya Regency in September 2020. This activity went smoothly and without a hitch. The community response was quite good, very open and enthusiastic. This activity was very useful, especially for people whose activity in public areas such as markets and sports fields. It is hoped that it will be sustainable and need for periodic monitoring with wider range toprevent the spread of Covid-19.

Abstract

The point of the problem faced by the community, especially housewives in Tebang Kacang Village, Kubu Raya Regency, is that the need for agricultural products is increasing along with the increasing population, while increasing technological advances have shifted a lot of agricultural land which results in increasingly limited agricultural land. Such conditions require thinking and solutions to overcome them, one of which is the application of a hydroponic farming system. The solution to these problems is with a touch of science and technology, namely through extension activities on the meaning of hydroponic cultivation, quality and selling value of hydroponic cultivation products, being able to cultivate vegetables using a simple hydroponic Wick System and carry out product packing and product labeling. The method of implementing this training program includes orientation, socialization, dissemination of the technology of vegetable cultivation using the simple hydroponic Wick System, training on packing and product labeling and evaluation of activities to find out the obstacles / difficulties encountered during the activity to then find solutions in solving them. The results of the activity show that the level of understanding and desire for program sustainability in training and mentoring activities has increased by up to 75% regarding the manufacture of simple hydroponic vegetable cultivation using the Wick System method.

Abstract

The Audio Lingual (MAL) method refers to a very large learning competence in the ability to speak English. PPA Filadelpia Medan Foundation is an educational foundation that is oriented towards the progress of students to make children who are moral and achievers. This foundation also accommodates the children of the community who have a weak or underprivileged economy. Teachers who teach students have been set to become teachers who have a holistic spirit and dreams. Teachers who teach English and non-English subjects are very interested in learning English in order to develop their students. The trainer for Community Service Activities has a big heart to develop this foundation through English speaking training for teachers and foundation employees. The results conclude that the implementation of PKM activities starts from May 2021 to July 2021 for 12 times with meeting times with a total of 16 participants with system clusters. The Audio Lingual (MAL) method with a combination of Screen Cast O Matic becomes an instrument to carry out face-to-face training and online learning. The results of the observations prove that under the answers and learning outcomes through the audio lingual approach there is a tendency to learn, speak English and explore sources and information that are shown. This is evidenced by the statements of the respondents to prepare them in the world market which must be full of creativity that is flexible, directed, and achieved with high quality..

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide information to the people of the village of Choblong Cibeureum Cisarua Bogor about the variety of learning media that can be used during distance learning activities (learning from home). The target of community service is the community in the area of ​​RT.03 RW.010 Cibeureum Cisarua, Bogor. Partner problems can be resolved through three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Preparations were carried out by conducting a preliminary survey to see conditions in the field regarding distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The implementation is carried out by counseling, using the lecture method, namely presentation techniques, followed by question and answer discussions and exercises to open links to free online learning providers as interesting online-based learning media. Evaluation of activities is carried out for each stage by collecting and concluding data from each stage of activity. The results of the training activities showed a success rate with an indication of a positive response from the participants, and most (75%) of the participants had understood how to open a link to an online learning provider.

Abstract

292 Poverty is one of the problems that often arise in various cities and even countries. Especially in this era of the Covid-19 pandemic. It is undeniable that this pandemic has resulted in a decline in the economy in Indonesia, especially in the city of Solo. The city of Solo is one of the cultural cities that has the potential for Batik as one of the icons of this city. Not only the potential of craft resources, the potential of human resources, which is often called craftsmen, is also widely found in this city. One of them is the itinerant tailor who goes around every day from one complex to another to help sew the clothes of the local residents. However, with the impact of COVID-19, many itinerant tailors have started to lose their jobs and have a negative impact on their economic growth. This has a negative impact on the sustainable development goals in point 8 regarding decent work and economic growth.
