Abstract

The problem of uninhabitable houses must get more special handling in order to create a prosperous community life. The Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance Program (BSPS) is a government program in providing facilities for low-income households to have decent housing. The provision of services can affect the level of satisfaction of the receiving community, because the level of community satisfaction can measure the success of a service or product provided by the government. (Case Study: Jati Agung District, South Lampung Regency) with the aim of knowing the level of community satisfaction with the quality of services provided in the BSPS program. The analysis used is descriptive qualitative in the form of interviews and documentation in this study using three RLH criteria, namely building safety, adequacy of space or minimum area, and health. The results of the study show that there is a conformity between the RLH criteria that have been built with the BSPS program criteria so that there is satisfaction felt by the community because the suitability is in accordance with what is expected and also because of the good service to create houses with livable conditions and improve people's lives towards a more good.

Abstract

The city of Bandar Lampung, which is the capital of Lampung Province, which is currently not included in the 100 smart city movement in Indonesia, has tried to keep up with and make Bandar Lampung a smart city. Marked by the vision of the City of Bandar Lampung, namely "Bandar Lampung is healthy, intelligent, faithful, cultured, superior and competitive based on the people's economy" (RPJMD Bandar Lampung City, 2016-2021). The increasing number of residents in Bandar Lampung City causes basic infrastructure services to be improved in order to meet the needs of the community. The concept of smart infrastructure that has been implemented in various countries has been able to help fulfill and maximize city infrastructure services to be effective and efficient. Research on smart infrastructure in Bandar Lampung City is still new and relatively early, so it is very important to know the position of smart infrastructure development in Bandar Lampung City. This development can be identified by examining the stages of the city's smart infrastructure (Royal Academy of Engineering, 2017 in Ogie et al, 2019). The purpose of this study is to examine the development of smart infrastructure in urban infrastructure aspects in Bandar Lampung City. This research was conducted using a qualitative deductive approach, while the research data were analyzed using content analysis techniques and qualitative descriptive analysis. The result of this research is that the urban infrastructure of Bandar Lampung City is at an early stage towards the concept of smart infrastructure, which is still between the traditional stage and the semi-intelligent stage.

Abstract

Urban planning is a solution to problems that may arise as a result of the continued increase in the population of the city which is also associated with a variety of activities which then affect land use and urban mobility, these causing transportation problems to be identified at this time so that preventive actions can be planned for the future. In Bandarlampung as a Metropolitan City, it can be seen that the population is increasingly dense and its activities are increasingly diverse as seen on Jalan Urip Sumoharjo, which is surrounded by heterogeneous land uses like residential areas, trade and service areas and public service areas where Jalan Urip Sumoharjo is a strategic road for in Bandarlampung. So the purpose of this research are to identify the model of trip generation and trip attraction that determine the factors causing the movement of residential area of Jalan Urip Sumoharjo. The research method used are multiple linear regression and descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the analysis result, the factors that influence movement on Jalan Urip Sumoharjo are family members, number of working family members, average distance and time of movement, monthly income, vehicle ownership, purpose and travel destination, and accessibility.

Abstract

The southern coastal region of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) has a high vulnerability to the risk of tsunami. This disaster risk is certainly endangering the people who live in this area. In addition, this risk can also be a factor that hinders development in the DIY’s coastal area. Therefore, in order to reduce the negative impacts, this area must be resilient to a tsunami disaster. This study is an effort to measure the regional resilience against the tsunami risk in 13 sub-districts on the south coast of DIY. The measurement uses a calculation method adapted from the theory of spring elasticity. The finding demonstrates subdistricts in the SRY have low to moderate level of resilience to tsunami disaster.

Abstract

Regional disparity is a phenomenon of economic differences between regions (Bakri, et.al 2016). The Bappeda of Banten Province stated that South Tangerang City experienced a relatively high regional disparity level (Noviar, 2021). Triyanto, et.al (2019) stated that land use changes influenced regional disparity. However, this influence has not been identified in South Tangerang City. This study aims to identify the influence of land use change on regional disparity between sub-districts in South Tangerang City in 2015 and 2019. The data collection technique uses secondary data from related agencies with regional disparity, spatial and multiple linear regression statistical analysis techniques. The results of the analysis show that regional disparity consist of low, medium and high levels. Then, land use changes in 2019 are built-up land use change with an area of 493.29 ha (84.75%) and non-built-up land use change with an area of 88.73 ha (15.25%) out of a total of 582, 02 ha (100%). Furthermore, the influence of built-up land use change (X1) and non-built-up land use change (X2) simultaneously or partially has a significant influence on regional disparity (Y) which is 86%, while the remaining 14% is influenced by other independent not examined variables.

Abstract

Like other urban areas, Metro City has a waste problem. An alternative solution that has been carried out by the government in dealing with waste problems is through the waste bank program. One of the waste bank that has many achievements in Metro City is Cangkir Hijau Waste Bank, but the lack of community participation in participating in this waste bank results in the least amount of garbage that can be processed by Cangkir Hijau Waste Bank. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the factors that influence community participation in Cangkir Hijau Waste Bank. To answer these objectives, it is carried out: 1) Identification of the conditions of community participation in Cangkir Hijau Waste Bank; 2) Analysis of the factors that influence community participation in Cangkir Hijau Waste Bank. In this research, the method used is descriptive analysis and crosstab association analysis with probability sampling technique. The sampling method used was proportional clustered random sampling with a sample of 155 respondents. After researching that the condition of community participation participating in Cangkir Hijau Garbage Bank only amounted to 1% or 2 people from 155 respondents. Meanwhile, the factors that influence community participation in Cangkir Hijau Garbage Bank are attitudes, knowledge, environmental benefits, and profits.

Abstract

Along with the development of a city, the need for houses to support activities in it also continues to increase. Thus, housing tends to be made in a hurry to catch up with the increasing population as a city develops. Therefore, housing development is generally more emphasized in terms of quantity only in order to meet the needs for houses by the community rather than the quality of the houses built. Thus, in the provision of housing sometimes neglect the sustainability aspect. Similarly, Kemiling Sub-district is a sub-district with limited housing/settlement and has had housing since the 1980s, but new housing units continue to be built and are planned to be built. This study aims to determine the sustainability of formal housing in Kemiling District based on the concept of Ecological Housing. There are 2 targets to achieve these goals, namely: (1) Identifying the existing condition of formal housing in Kemiling District based on the concept of Ecological Housing, (2) Analyzing the condition of sustainability of Formal Housing in Kemiling District based on the concept of Ecological Housing. With descriptive analysis method and weighting analysis with Likert scale. The variables used are 7 variables, namely physical residential buildings, facilities, infrastructure, access to city facilities, environment, economy, social. Based on the results of the weighting analysis that has been carried out with the concept of Ecological Housing in Kemiling District categorized as 'good', then formal housing in Kemiling District can be sustainable. This is the reason why formal housing developers in Kemiling District continue to plan new housing developments because Kemiling District has the potential to continue to develop in terms of housing,

Abstract

This paper aims to reveal the dimension underlying variables that affect the trip makers; mode choice to reach Car-Free Day location, taking Bandung as a case study. Twelve variables are gathered from several works of literature, namely trip cost, parking cost, trip duration, trip distance, number of people on the trip, the highest number of lanes in the trip, the age of the trip maker(s), number of vehicle ownership, whether those are motorized or non-motorized, and the number of household member. Correlations between variables are more than possible to find in that amount. Therefore, a principal component analysis is used to group the variables into factors, representing the structure or dimension laid down beneath them. This method shows that four groups of variables, or factors, are generated. The result then is compared to some literature that priorly have been reviewed. The first dimension is called “trip characteristics” which elements are trip duration, the highest number of lanes in the trip, and trip distance. The second dimension, namely “out-of-pocket cost”, is built upon in-vehicle trip cost and parking cost. The third dimension is a group of three vehicle ownership, i.e car, motorcycle, and bicycle ownership, hence the name “vehicle ownership” dimension. The fourth dimension is labeled “trip-maker characteristics”, with its variables being the number people involved in the trip and the age of the trip-maker.

Abstract

Lampung Province, especially in Bandarlampung City, according to the spatial plan (RTRW), Lampung Province has been designated as one of the National Activity Centers (PKN) and as a strategic area for Sumatra Island in the transportation sector. This condition encourages Bandarlampung City to apply the Smart City concept in developing its city, in realizing this concept Bandarlampung City utilizes digital infrastructure platforms in its activities. The digital infrastructure platform is expected to be a solution to push Bandarlampung City towards the realization of the Smart City concept and improve the public's mindset towards technological advances to facilitate and improve the quality of public services. In addition, according to Castells (2010) theory, the existence of this digital platform will reduce mobility in Bandarlampung City because many public service activities are carried out from home without transportation. The digital infrastructure platform of Bandarlampung City that include in this research is a platform for local transportation network infrastructure, government, education, health, trade and commerce, clean water and electricity networks and telephone network utilities. In this research, it was identified that there was a connection between changes in the frequency of use of digital infrastructure platforms which in fact affected the mobility of the citozens of Bandarlampung City.
