This research is a quantitative research with a method used pre-experimental method using a with a pre-test-post test one group design approach. The sample was taken based on the number of respondents obtained as many as 19 people using Purposive sampling. Data collection was done by using blood glucose test tools and observation sheets. The results of data analysis using the Paired sample t-test showed P value of 0.001 or smaller than ≤0.05 which means that the alternative hypothesis Ha is accepted or through walking activities can reduce the fasting blood sugar levels when in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The conclusion is that the waking activities can reduce blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Tuminting Village, Manado City. Abstract

Burnout occurs because prolonged work stress is inevitable by nurses in carrying out their duties in serving patients in the hospital, the purpose of this study is to find out the relationship of work stress with work saturation (burnout) in emergency installation nurses at Manembo-Nembo Bitung Hospital. The study uses descriptive analytics methods with cross-sectional approaches. Sample is taken based on population of 40 respondents using total sampling method. The data collection is done using questionnaires as research instruments. The collected data was analyzed using a chi-square statistical test with alpha (α) ≤ 0.05. The results showed that nurses’ work stress was mostly in the weight category of 23 respondents (57.5%) and Burnout was as large as categorical as not occurring and occurred at 20 respondents (50.0%), with Chi-square test resulting in p-value=0,000, where p values are smaller than the value (α). The conclusion on the study there is a working stress relationship with work saturation (burnout) in the nurse of the installation of the department at Manembo-Nembo Bitung Hospital. It is recommended that you make an agenda or activities that are entertaining periodically for nurses so that nurses are not saturated and experience stress due to their work.

Abstract

contributing to the global burden of type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and other metabolic complications. This bibliometric study aims to analyze trends, thematic focuses, and collaborations in scientific publications related to insulin resistance in adult obesity, utilizing data from the Scopus database covering the period from 2019 to 2025. Bibliometric tools such as RStudio, Biblioshiny, and VoS Viewer were employed to extract and visualize findings from 8,037 publications. The results reveal that research activity peaked in 2021, followed by a decline in subsequent years. Dominant keywords, such as "insulin resistance," "obesity," and "metabolic syndrome," highlight the clinical and metabolic focus of current research. Biomolecular markers, such as "glycated hemoglobin" and the "triglyceride-glucose index," reflect a growing interest in more precise diagnostic tools. The United States, China, and Italy emerged as major contributors, with journals like Nutrients and Frontiers in Endocrinology leading in publications. Despite significant progress, there remains a considerable gap, particularly in exploring the role of epigenetics and the microbiota in insulin resistance. Additionally, cross-disciplinary collaboration and participation from institutions in developing countries remain limited. This study emphasizes the importance of global, interdisciplinary efforts to address these gaps and drive innovation in interventions, providing a foundation for future research aimed at reducing the impact of insulin resistance in adult obesity.

Abstract

The development of innovative health technology continues to be needed by health workers, including nurses in hospitals. Nurses need to adapt and are required to be able to utilize various technological innovations that currently exist. However, the demand for quality services in maintaining patient safety through the use of technology is still a problem that affects the achievement of nurses' job satisfaction. This study aims to describe nurses' job satisfaction regarding the use of health technology. This research is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional design involving 172 hospital nurses. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling method, and data collection was carried out through a questionnaire. Of the nurses in the sample, 33.1% were between 26 and 31 years old, while 90.1% were female. In addition, based on educational background, the majority of nurses (54.1%) had a nursing diploma, and 23.8% had a professional nursing degree. Maximum work experience caring for patients is more than 10 years. The results of this study showed that 40.1% of nurses felt satisfied with the use of health technology, while 59.9% felt dissatisfied. A significant relationship was found between education level, work position, and nurse satisfaction (p <0.05). The recommendation of this study is that the manager's role should include supporting, motivating, and providing self-awareness to nurses regarding technology in order to save time, make communication more effective, facilitate nursing care, and improve patient safety. Managers must also be tasked with implementing technological innovations that are easy to use.

Abstract

Milk eczema is a chronic, recurring skin inflammation accompanied by itching that is often experienced by infants. This milk eczema problem is actually not caused by breast milk (ASI) because from the results of a study conducted by Osborn (2007) it was found that babies who received breast milk intake for a longer time were less likely to experience milk eczema when compared to babies who had been given formula milk or solid food too early. The purpose of this study was to determine the knowledge and attitudes of mothers about milk eczema in infants (0-24 months) in Sianipar Sihail Hail Village, Balige District, Toba Regency in 2024. The design of this study was descriptive with a cross-sectional approach with a sample size of 38 people with a total sampling method. This study was conducted from October to November 2024. The instruments in this study were in the form of a questionnaire covering demographic data and a questionnaire on the knowledge and attitudes of mothers about milk eczema in infants (0-24 months). The results of the study showed that the majority of mothers had sufficient knowledge as many as 23 people (60.5%) and had a positive attitude 26 people (68.4%) about milk eczema. From this study, it is expected to be an input for every health worker in hospitals and private practices in improving the provision of information and understanding about milk eczema that occurs in infants, especially during immunization, considering that the incidence of milk eczema is still found today.
