The goals of this research is to analyze at first the effect of parents support and acquired ability on their motivation in learning social sciences .The second effect parents support, acquired ability and motivation in learning social sciences on their achievements. This research was quantitative research which consisted of three indipendent variables and one dependent variable. The research was conducted on students at two thuosand sixteenth and two thuousand seventeen.The results showed that the first there is not a significant effect between parents support on their motivation and there is a significant effect acquired ability on their motivation in learning social sciences at student. The second there is a significant effect between parents support, acquired ability, and motivation in learning social sciences on their achievements at students.

Homosexuality is a controversial issue. In general, Indonesian society rejects the existence of homosexuals because they are not in accordance with the prevailing values and norms and are the cause of HIV / AIDS so that it not only endangers individuals and the perpetrators but can also destroy the fabric of society. This is the basis for the need for an instrument to identify a person's sexual orientation. More often than not, homosexual identification tools have been developed abroad so that they are not suitable for the context of Indonesian society. This study aims to develop an instrument capable of measuring the level of a person's homosexual tendency. The research method used follows the steps of developing Gall, Gall, and Borg's model. The research sample used was 265 students. Initially this instrument consisted of 28 items which were analyzed using the IRT approach. The results indicated that the inventory of homosexual tendencies was valid and reliable, totaling 26 items. Thus this instrument can be used to identify levels of homosexual tendencies

Students have various problems, one of which is related to self-confidence that needs to be explored and eradicated. School counselors have challenges in alleviating students' trust problems in schools. Counselors are required to have competence in counseling services in schools. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of group counseling based on the Adlerian approach to increase students' self-confidence. This research uses a qualitative research method with a literature review approach. A literature study is a method used to collect data or sources related to the Adlerian approach that was adopted in a study and then analyzed by the descriptive analysis method. The Adlerian approach is one of the most popular approaches to group counseling in practice. In this article, we will discuss the analysis of group counseling based on the Adlerian approach to increase students' self-confidence. Based on the analysis of the group counseling approach, the Adlerian approach can increase students' self-confidence.

Education today is more oriented to the development of the left brain, characterized by the number of subjects and even additional lessons that focus more on improving intellectual intelligence. This makes the child more critical, likes to imitate but lacks ideas, low emotional control, and other consequences. The training aims to help students train the left brain and right brain. Both left and right hemispheres are important. They complement each other. In this training, the participants who are elementary school students are given Lego games. The method used in this training activity is discussion and practice. Based on the evaluation, it is concluded that this training is useful to stimulate the left brain and right brain of children, characterized by participants who are more creative, imaginative, collaborative, and communicative.

The study aimsto determine: 1) Howinfluence the professionalism of employee to the effectiveness of service in civil registry in Agam Regency. 2). How influence the work motivation to the effectiveness of service? 3) how influence the technology information to the effectiveness of service? 4) how much influence the professionalism, the work motivation and the information of technology employee to the effectiveness of service?The research method used is correlational qualitative method and 42 employees of civil registry as a population and 38 employes as sampel. The data analysis used is regression analysis and corelation.The finding sindicate that:1)Professionalisms of employee have a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of service with a magnitude of 26,0%. 2)Work motivation has 36.6%positive and influence on the effectiveness service 3) the technology of information partially has 31.2%. positive andeffect on the effectivenessservice 4).Simultaneously significant influences employee professionalism, work motivation and information technology on the effectiveness service.at at 56.6%.

The problem in this research is the development of technology such as computers and the internet is not used for learning purposes but for things that are not important such as social media and games, the lack of habit of using technology such as computers to support the learning process results in the emergence of computer anxiety (doubt in using computers. from the doubt of using this computer, the motivation of students to use computers effectively will decrease and the learning environment does not support the sustainability of the learning process by utilizing technology to the maximum, then the lack of motivation of students in doing school work using existing technology and the lack of the role of teachers or parents in control the use of technology by students so that technological development is not utilized for the benefit of learning. The purpose of research is to know the learning environment that contributes to the ability n technology literacy of students. This research uses correlational quantitative research. Based on the results of the study it was found that there was a positive and significant contribution to the learning environment towards the ability of students' technology literacy with a contribution percentage of 64.5%.

Career aspiration is one of the factors that influence one's career maturity. Career aspirations direct individual behavior to achieve the career that is their hopes or dreams. Career aspirations can help students choose a secondary school that matches the abilities and potentials of the individual. The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences in career aspirations of high school students with Minangkabau and Chinese cultural backgrounds. This research uses a comparative descriptive quantitative approach. The population in this study were students of class XI and XII who have Minangkabau and Chinese cultural backgrounds at SMA Negeri 1 Padang and SMA Don Bosco Padang. The research sample was 295 students consisting of 173 Minangkabau students (79 male & 94 female) and 122 Chinese students (64 male and 58 female). The instrument used was the Career Aspiration Level Entry List (DITAK). The measuring instrument used is valid and the reliability coefficient of DITAK is 0.86. Based on the results of the study, there are differences in the level of career aspirations of high school students with Minangkabau and Chinese cultural backgrounds, where the level of career aspirations of Chinese students is higher than that of Minangkabau students. The implication of the results of this study is as discussion material and input for the school in making guidance and counseling service programs, especially in the field of career development.

One of the aspects that determine the success of the learning process is teaching materials. This research aimed to develop the effectiveness of contextual material for teaching English at Madrasah Aliyah. The design of this research is development research by using ADDIE model. The product consists of two books, (teacher's book and students'book) the title is “English For Us”. Subjects in this research were all students of grade X. Sample were 87 persons and it was selected by using the purposive technique. The instrument used to collect data was a survey, questionnaires, and an interview. Data analysis was used the qualitative and quantitative technique. The practicalities of the teacher’s book were 82.54 and students’ book showed an average 84.63 score. The effectiveness of a product is measured through pre-test is 68,00 and post-test is 75.44. It can be concluded that the contextual material for teaching English at Madrasah Aliyah was effective

Ideally students follow mathematics learning effectively without any disturbance. But the phenomenon that is happening is that there are students who experience anxiety about mathematics, which causes students to not be able to follow mathematics learning effectively. The purpose of this study is to describe the level of mathematics anxiety experienced by students as a whole and also based on the aspects studied. This study involved 32 students in class XII consisting of 18 female students and 14 male students. The instrument used in this research in the form of a questionnaire containing statements about mathematical anxiety equipped with a Likert scale model. Data analysis using frequency distribution techniques and Rasch Model analysis. The results of the analysis of research data indicate that some students experience mathematical anxiety. In addition, the results of data analysis also showed that there were differences in anxiety between female students and male students both overall and based on aspects of the mathematics anxiety studied.

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of increased academic procrastination among students. Students carry out academic procrastination or delay in working on or completing academic assignments. One of the causes of academic procrastination is self-efficacy. This study aims to: (1) describe students self-efficacy, (2) describe students academic procrastination, (3) to test whether there is a relationship between self-efficacy and student academic procrastination. This study uses a quantitative approach with correlational tioe. The subjects of this study were 613 students with a sample of 244 students. The sampling technique is Stratified Random Sampling. The data collection tool uses a questionnaire instrument with a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical techniques and pearson product moment techniques. The research findings show that: (1) self-efficacy is in the high category, (2) academic procrastination is in the high category, (3) there is a significant negative relationship between self-efficacy and student academic procrastination, with a correlation coefficient of 0.413, a significance of 0.000 . Based on the research results, it is expected that guidance and counseling teachers can provide assistance in the form of information guidance services, group guidance services, so as to be able to improve self-efficacy properly.
