Abstract

Along with the increasing number of transportation vehicles in Indonesia, the growth of the gas station business is also increasing from year to year. This requires companies in the oil and gas industry to improve their performance, and gas stations must have the right strategy to improve efficiency. Measurement of efficiency and productivity is one of the first steps that must be taken by a gas station operation to improve performance. This research analyzes the performance differences in each gas station with the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) approach, where DEA is a linear programming model based on measuring the relative efficiency of a unit using many inputs and many outputs. This study aims to identify input and output factors that affect the efficiency level of gas stations, determine the work efficiency of each gas station in carrying out the service process to consumers, and determine the improvement planning strategy for inefficient gas stations

Of the 5 figures, four of them set the standard of the beginning of Subuh time 19 degrees, while one figure namely Sheikh Muhammad Thahir Jalaluddin set 20 degrees. This 20-degree standard is commonly used by Muslims in the Southeast Asian region today. Eventhough they disagreed in some aspects, but they aprreciated the different methods they used, but they had the same goal

Abstract

HEARJACK is an innovative smart jacket designed to enhance the health and well-being of military personnel. This groundbreaking project addresses the crucial need for maintaining proper posture, monitoring heart health, and managing humidity-related skin issues. Spinal alignment and posture play a fundamental role in overall well-being, and deviations from a healthy alignment can lead to various health issues. HEARJACK integrates sensors like the MPU6050 for real-time posture monitoring, DHT11 for humidity insights, and a heart rate sensor for stress assessment. These sensors, combined with an IoT algorithm, enable continuous monitoring and data analysis. The results demonstrate a significant improvement in posture, reduced skin-related health concerns, and enhanced stress management, underscoring the potential of IoT-driven wearables in military healthcare. Further research and development promise to revolutionize health and military technology

Abstract

The success of higher education institutions is often measured by their competitiveness and the quality of their graduates in the job market. The concept of competitiveness, particularly in terms of educational relevance, is a fundamental consideration outlined in Law No. 12 related to higher education. One of the mechanisms for assessing this educational relevance involves conducting tracer studies among graduates. The objective of this research is to examine the individual (partial) and combined (simultaneous) effects of Grade Point Average (GPA) and Academic Supporting Credit for Students (AKPAM) on the alignment between graduates' fields of study and their subsequent employment. This study focuses on alumni from Darussalam Gontor University in the year 2019. The research is conducted through a survey-based approach, and the data collected through tracer study questionnaires. The findings indicate that while GPA exhibits an insignificant influence on the degree of alignment between fields of study and employment, AKPAM significantly affects this alignment. Moreover, when considered together, both GPA and AKPAM exert a significant influence on the alignment between graduates' fields of study and their employment choices

Abstract

Religion and social values in an area cannot be separated, eventually becoming part of people's lives. This system is able to give birth to traditions that meet the wishes of the community. Providing socio-religious benefits, such as the traditions of nyadran, ba'da kupat and ngapati that developed for a long time and existed in the community. Javanese Islam is a form of cultural acculturation, which brings together Islam as a great tradition with Javanese culture as a little tradition. The Javanese Islam shown is actually the local genius of the Javanese people in responding to Islam as a great tradition, which gives birth to a unique religious character. Islamic teachings became part of the ritual, which was thick with Javanese culture fused with each other. This phenomenon makes Javanese Islam able to be side by side with elements of modernization. While the purification of Islam continues, the tradition in its development into a religious ethic that gives birth to community harmony, realizing religious social stability. Writings based on literature methods, interviews and in-depth observations, raise the existence and relevance of Javanese (local) Islam in the midst of rapid modernization and purification in Indonesia.

Abstract

The study examined the effect of creative accounting on the performance of commercial banks listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange. The research design chosen for this study is an ex-post facto research design, which involves examining facts that have already occurred without any interference. The research approach adopted is quantitative, focusing on objective measurements and statistical analysis of data collected through surveys. The study relies on secondary data, specifically financial reports of deposit money banks listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange. The target population includes all the listed commercial banks on the exchange. The sample size consists of 8 out of the 9 commercial banks selected based on their up-to-date financial reports. The data analysis was done with the aid of SPSS software, employing descriptive and inferential statistical techniques such as multiple regression was used to determine the cause and effect relationship among variables. The study found that there was a strong positive link among a bank's size, creative accounting and sales growth and its return on assets and return on equity. Also, SIZE and SG positively affect the profitability (ROA and ROE) of the listed firms on the GSE. However, Creative Accounting negatively affects profitability (ROA and ROE). Therefore, ccommercial banks should be critical regarding on issues or items that they classified under creative accounting. Also, commercial banks should develop strategies to lure many shareholders to invest in the banks in order to improve upon their performance. Moreover, there is urgent need for monitoring companies’ activities in order to raise the quality of financial reporting in Ghana. This can be achieved in determining which accounting manipulation is kept within the limits of legality. Lastly, commercial banks should strengthen their internal control systems in order to deal with issues of creative accounting and misleading financial reports.

Abstract

Good manufacturing practice is a guideline for producing safe and quality food products. GMP is carried out from the plantation, starting from harvest and post-harvest techniques. Harvest and post-harvest handling is influenced by the farmer's behavior in carrying out his business. This research aims to determine the behavior of farmers in Cilimus District in implementing coffee harvesting and post-pane techniques in accordance with GMP standards. The research was conducted in Cilimus District, Kuningan Regency with the consideration that this area has superior coffee production. The research is planned to be carried out in January 2024. The research design used is descriptive quantitative with survey research techniques. The sample size in this study was 65 respondents. The data analysis technique was carried out descriptively with a Likert score weighting of 1-5. The research results show that farmer behavior in harvesting techniques consists of knowledge with a percentage of 56.31%, attitude with a percentage of 52.00% and farmer skills with a percentage of 49.78%. Each aspect indicates quite good condition. Farmers' behavior in post-harvest handling consists of knowledge of 64.09% in the good category, but attitude of 55.87% and skills of 50.86% in the quite good category
