Abstract

This research was motivated by not maximizing student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning in class V of SD Negeri 01 Belakang Campago Ipuh, Bukittinggi City. The purpose of this study is to describe an increase in learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning with a portfolio model in class V of SD Negeri 01 Belakang Campago Ipuh, Bukittinggi. The type of research is PTK using qualitative and quantitative approaches. Student learning outcomes in cycle I 72.5 increased to 92 in cycle II. Thus, integrated thematic learning by applying the Portfolio model can improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 01 Campago Ipuh, Bukittinggi.Key Word : Result study, PKn, model Portofolio

Abstract

The researchisanimed to improve the students learning outcomes by using Quantum Teaching Model in learning the Social Study Subject at4th grade of SD 10 Bandar Buat. Types of this research was classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approach. Subject of this research wereteachers and 30 students. The result of research was improve a) lesson plan the cycles of I was 78,5% and the cycles II of 89,3% b) implementation theacher’s activity of I cycles was 76,6% and II cycles was 87,5% while implementation student activity of I cycles was 76,6% and II cycles was 87,5% c) the student learning outcomes in the I cycles was 75,3% and II cycles was 85%. It can be concluded that used Quantum Teaching Model can improve students achievement in learning social study of elementary school. Abstract

Abstract                                         The purpose of this research was to know the influence of Cooperative Learning Model Think Pair Share (TPS) toward student learning outcomes in class V SDN 09 Belakang Balok Bukittinggi City. This type of research was quasi experiment with Design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this research was students of grade V SDN 09 Belakang Balok Bukittinggi City. Sampling technique was nonprobability sampling with jenuh sampling type. The instrument used in this research was a test. Data analysis technique in the form of hypothesis test using t-test formula. Result of hypothesis test calculation at significance level 5% obtained thitung  > ttabel  that is 2,53> 2,00758 which means Ha accepted, that is there is significant influence model Cooperative Learning type Think Pair Share (TPS) to Student Learning Outcomes in Class V SDN 09 Belakang Balok Bukittinggi City. Keywords: Think Pair Share, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of cooperative learning, Jigsaw-type model against the results of student learning in an integrated thematic learning class V SDN 02 Aur Kuning. This type of research is experimental design with true experiment with forms of pretest-posttest control group. The sample of this research was a class V SD 02 Aur Kuning cluster technique based on random selected. The results showed that there were pengaruhmodel cooperative learning outcomes against Jigsaw type of students in learning Thematic Terpadudengan value thitung (-4.1120) > ttabel (1.67155).

Abstract

This research is caused by low students learning results in third grade of public elementary school 02 sialang of sub-district kapur IX so that learning exhaustiveness desired  in write poetry not yet achieved. This research is a classroom activities research using an approach qualitative and quantitative. Data sources is the process implementation of poetry writing lesson using song media. Research subjects are teacher and third grade student of public elementary school 02 sialang. Based on research results cycle I shows  achievement that obtained by student on pre-writing stage is 60, writing is 65 and after writing is 63. Whilein cycle II is increased, on pre-writing stage is 89, writing is 89 and after writing is 86. Thus it can be concluded using song media can increase student’s poetry writing skills. Abstract

This research aims to describe the application of the scientific approach in integrated thematic learning in elementary schools. This research is motivated because there are still many mistakes in implementing integrated thematic learning in elementary schools. This research uses a literature study method (library research) through a literature review to strengthen the analysis of the various sources used. This research begins with formulating a research problem followed by analyzing the relevant research results. Data collection in this literature study was carried out using non-tests, namely by searching electronic journals through reputable journals, books, theses, and online journals that are relevant to the application of the scientific approach. The keywords used for journal search are the Scientific Approach, Integrated Thematic. The results obtained from the research will be analyzed by the author using the content analysis method. From the results of the research analysis of 15 relevant journals, it shows that the scientific approach is effectively applied in integrated thematic learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This researche was started from  the fact at SDN 05 Sungai Aur in which the learning was dominated by teacher as information source. The researcher used qualitative and quantitative approaches which consist of two cycles involved four phases which is planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were teacher, researcher and twenty three grade IV students. The result of researche showed improvement. The improvement was involved a) the lesson plan in the first cycle had percentage 74 % (enough) increase to 85,5% (good) in the second cycle. b) the implementation of teacher`s aspect in the first cycle was 78% (good) increased to 86% (very good)  in the second cycle. c) the implementation of students` aspect was 71,5% (good) in the first cycle increased to 87% (very good). Then, the outcome of students learning in the first cycle was 68,07% (enough)  increased to 79% (good) in the second cycle. Thus, it can be concluded that experiment method able improve outcome of student learning in science learning in grade IV SDN 05 Sungai Aur.   Kata Kunci: hasil, belajar, ipa,  metode,  eksperimen, SD

Abstract

The research aim to see correlation student’s motivation in learning and learning outcomes in PKn at the fifth grade of Primary School in Cluster II Kecamatan Baso Kabupaten Agam. The type of this research is correlation research. The sample of this research is 98 students at the fifth grade of Primary School in Cluster II Kecamatan Baso Kabupaten Agam. The result of this research shows that there is a correlation between students motivation in learning and learning outcomes in PKn at the fifth grade of Primary School in Cluster II Kecamatan Baso Kabupaten Agam. It is proved by the value  rhitung = 0,785 > rtabel = 0,1986 and significant value 0,000 < 0,005, which means Ha is accepted. So, there is a significant correlation between students motivation in learning with learning outcomes in PKn at the fifth grade of Primary School in Cluster  II Kecamatan Baso Kabupaten Agam”.Keywords: students motivation in learning, learning outcomes

Abstract

This research aims at improving students’ abilities to solve Mathematical Word Problems about LCM and GCD by using the Polya Strategy at Class IV of SD Dian Andalas, Padang. This Class action research applied both qualitative an quantitative approaches. The subject were the teacher as an observer, the researcher as a practitionaire, and the students of the class. The research result shows some improvements. In term of lesson plans, the score increased from 76.79% in cycle I to 92.86 in cycle II. In term of teacher’s aspect, the score enhanced from 75% in cycle I to 90.63% in cycle II. Meanwhile, in term of the student’s aspect, the score increased from 65.63% in cycle I to 90.63% in cycle II. Finally, the student’s learning outcomes enhanced from 76.18 in cycle I to 85.23 in cycle II.

Abstract

Sebagian besar siswa mengalami kesulitan berhubungan dengan orang lain diasumsikan disebabkan oleh gambaran diri yang tidak sesuai dengan kondisi yang sebenarnya.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan hubungan konsep diri dengan penerimaan diri siswa.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi penelitian siswa SMP 18 Padang berjumlah 635 orang, pengambilan sampel menggunakan stratified random sampling yang berjumlah sebanyak 245 orang. Pengumpulan datan menggunakan angket dan data dianalisis menggunakan persentase dan Pearson Product Moment Corelation. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa (1) tingkat konsep diri berada pada kategori cukup baik, (2) tingkat penerimaan diri berada pada kategori cukup baik, dan (3) terdapat hubungan positif  yang signifikan antara  konsep diri dengan penerimaan diri siswa dengan koefisien korelasi 0,118 dan taraf signifikansi 0,033.Kata Kunci: Konsep Diri, Penerimaan Diri, Siswa
