Abstract

Ki Hajar Dewantara said that educating children is educating the people. The circumstances in our life and our livelihood today are the educational fruits we receive from our parents when we were children. Instead of children who at this time we are educated, will someday become our citizens. Intended is the educa- tional instuition still needs to be developed through the themes of thought, espe- cially. The family institution that became the first and main educational environ- ment received the main criteria for putting the educational position as a building to deliver people to the ideals of educational ideal as previously formulated. And that family education will be discussed in this writing.

Abstract

Increasing the resources and progress of the Hndu people in Gianyar district seems to require a process, the government’s efforts in improving human resources both in the area of development and religious education, all of which can not be separated from the readiness of leaders in an organization in providing services.In the management of the field of guidance of Hindus by non-civil servants, in order to create the strengthening of work culture, in the process of achieving progress, the increase of human resources in religion and religion, it is necessary commitment and efforts from extension workers to carry out their duties and obligations as public servants is a manifestation of clan karma.Efforts to improve the education of intlektual coaching-extension of Hindu entrepreneurs continue to be improved in order to educate and promote the Hindus in Gianyar regency. This is done in accordance with Law no. 20 of 2003, article 30, paragraph 2 states that religious education serves to prepare students to become members of the community who understand and practice the values of religious teachings. Abstract

Keberadaan aktifitas yajna khususnya di Bali, selain berperan sebagai suatu rutinitas spiritual keagamaan, juga berperan sebagai identitas keagamaan budaya dan tradisi. Suatu realita nyata yang terlihat di lapangan adalah pesatnya perkembangan tekhnologi era modern yang seolah melaju tanpa henti. Namun uniknya meski demikian pesat perkembangan tekhnologi, eksestensi budaya khususnya yajna di Bali tetap mampu bertahan bahkan bersinergi dengan perkembanganyang terjadi di masyarakat.Hari raya Galungan sebagai hari pawedalan jagat, sehingga wajib memuja Ida Sang Hyang Widi atas terciptanya alam semesta beserta isinya, dan mengucapkan rasa terima kasih dengan ketulusan hati dan penuh kesucian atas kemurahan yang telah diberikan. Pada hari ini juga para dewa turun ke dunia termasuk juga para pitara yang merupakan leluhur kita. Dalam rangkaian hari raya Galungan mulai dirayakan pada hari Minggu Pahing Dungulan yang disebut Panyekeban. Biasanya umat Hindu mulai memproses buah-buahan yang masih mentah terutama pisang yang masih mentah agar matang pada saat hari Galungan tiba. Pada hari Senin Pon Dungulan dinamakan Panyajan pada waktu itu umat Hindu biasanya membuat berbagai macam kue atau jaja sebagai sesajen persembahan kepada para dewa pada hari raya Galungan. Kemudian pada hari Selasa Wage Dungulan dinamakan Panampahan. Barulah kemudian pada Rabu Kliwon Dungulan puncaknya hari suci Galungan, setelah Galungan dikenal hari manis Galungan.Desa Beringkit Belayu merupakan salah satu wilayah yang memiliki tradisi yang cukup unik pada hari raya Galungan tepatnya pada hari Panampahan Galungan yaitu tradisi Mebanten Tebasan. Tradisi Mebanten Tebasan ini merupakan suatu aktivitas keagamaan yang bersifat kearifan lokal. Adapun fungsi tradisi Mebanten Tebasan yaitu Fungsi Meningkatkan Sradha dan Bhakti, Fungsi Sosial, Fungsi Pelestarian Budaya dan Fungsi Media Pendidikan.

Abstract

Teks-teks Itihasa saat ini sedang digandrungi masyarakat, khususnya umat Hindu di Bali. Teks tersebut mengisyaratkan ajaran-ajaran luhur Hindu yang sangan relevan dengan situasi moral zaman saat ini. Ajaran Itihasa ini dikenal tersirat dalam dua epos yakni Ramayana dan Mahabrata. Epos Mahabrata ini dipecah menjadi delapan belas parwa yang sangat dikenal dengan Asta Dasa Parwa. Dalam teks parwa ini sangat banyak tersirat pesan dan isyarat moral Hindu ketika menjalani hidup di dunia. Salah satunya tentu Santi Parwa. Dalam Santi Parwa termuat sebuah perdebatan sengit antara putra Pandu perihal ajaran etika kehidupan Hindu yang dikenal dengan Asrama Dharma. Di situ juga dijelaskan bahwa Hindu juga memberi legitimasi moral bagi umatnya untuk mencari harta dalam kehidupan di dunia berdasarkan pada prinsipprinsip Dharma

Abstract

Perayaan hari raya Saraswati yang dilaksanakan enam bulan sekali atau 210 hari yaitu setiap Sabtu Umanis Wuku Watugunung menurut perhitungan kalender Bali. Hari raya tersebut Nampak dirayakan semakin semarak. Puja Saraswati tidak hanya dilaksanakan dikalangan terbatas seperti pendeta dan pewaris naskah-naskah lontar, tetapi kini pelaksanaannya sudah semakin meluas, yaitu seluruh masyarakat pelajar dan mahasiswa, guru dan dosen, kaum intelektual dan cendekiawan yang lain. Dewi Saraswati yang dipuja oleh umat Hindu ketika perayaan hari suci Saraswati dipuja sebagai Istadewata, sebagai Dewa ilmu pengetahuan.

Abstract

Wawasan kebangsaan mengandung tuntutan suatu bangsa untuk mewujudkan jati diri, serta mengembangkan karakter dan perilaku sebagai bangsa yang meyakini nilai-nilai budayanya yang lahir dan tumbuh sebagai penjelmaan kepribadiannya. Bila nilai-nilai kebangsaan tidak terus menerus ditanamkan dan mengingat kondisi sosial politik ekonomi Indonesia yang sangat beragam, maka keragaman budaya tersebut berpotensi menjadi modal perpecahan dan konflik. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan multikultural sangat menekankan pentingnya akomodasi hak setiap kebudayaan dan masyarakat sub-nasional (etnis) untuk memelihara dan mempertahankan identitas kebudayaan dan masyarakat nasional. Sehingga Bangsa nantinya memiliki karakter yang baik dan bangsa yang terhormat serta dapat menjadi teladan bangsa-bangsa lain di dunia.

Abstract

Abstract The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all aspects of life, including the world of education, especially Hindu religious education and Moral. Based on this, researchers are interested in knowing the perceptions of students about online learning for Hindu Religion and Moral subjects at SMP (SLUB) Saraswati 1 Denpasar. This type of research is survey research using a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all 7th grade students who were Hindu, totaling 227 students. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling technique totaling 69 students. The research instrument used was a questionnaire with 22 statements. All statement items are declared valid and reliable. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, namely by determining the lowest score, highest score, ideal mean (Mi) and ideal standard deviation (SDi. The results showed that the perception of students towards online learning in the subjects of Hindu Religion and Moral subjects as many as 22 respondents (31.88%) had a very good perception, 25 respondents (36.23%) had a good perception, 21 respondents (30.43%) have a sufficient perception, 1 respondent (1.45%) has a bad perception, and no respondent has a very bad perception. Based on the results of the study, the students' perceptions of online learning in the subjects of Hindu Religion and Moral Education are mostly good. Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort to create a learning atmosphere and learning process so that students actively develop their potential to have religious spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and skills needed by themselves, society, nation and state. Learning is part of the element that has a very dominant role to realize the quality of both the process and the education graduates (outputs). Learning also has an influence that causes the quality of education to be low. This means that learning is very dependent on the ability of teachers to implement or package the learning process. Learning that is carried out properly and appropriately will make a very dominant contribution to students, otherwise learning that is carried out in a bad way will make it difficult for the potential of students to be developed or empowered. Based on this background, a class action research was conducted which aims to determine the improvement in learning outcomes of class XII AP1 students at SMK Negeri 5 Denpasar by utilizing the Google Classroom application as one of the learning strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic in the historical material on the development of Hindu religious culture. in Asia. This research is a classroom action research which was carried out for two cycles. Each cycle consists of stages of planning (planning), action (action), observation (observation), and reflection (reflection). The learning strategy used is by utilizing the Google Classroom application. The advantage of this application is that it can make it easier for teachers to manage learning and convey information precisely and accurately to students. Based on the results of the discussion and analysis during the research, the results have shown that learning strategies by utilizing technology in the form of the Google Classroom application during the Covid-19 pandemic can improve student learning outcomes in the historical material of the development of Hindu religious culture in Asia class XII AP1 SMK Negeri 5 Denpasar. as evidenced by the test results at the end of the first cycle there were 6 students with a percentage of completeness of 18% and an increase in the percentage of completeness in the second cycle of 94% of 31 students. Based on these results, it can be stated that the target percentage of students' completeness has exceeded the minimum limit value.

Abstract

The application of character surveys and learning environment surveys is a form of the National Assessment policy as a substitute for the National Examination. The quality of the education unit is assessed based on student learning outcomes, the teaching and learning process and the climate of the education unit. One of the factors that influence the development of student competence is the character and environmental factors. The demands of the world of work are very high but are not matched by improving the quality of good education, causing new problems in the world of education. The character survey conducted through the Pancasila student profile aims to make students not only have knowledge of Pancasila but are able to practice Pancasila in everyday life. The character survey was conducted to measure students socio-emotional abilities and the most important supporter of the character survey was the teacher. The main characteristics of the Pancasila student profile are fear of God Almighty, and noble character, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, critical and creative reasoning. Noble character in students must be fostered through learning at school, the unsuccessful character survey results in students not being able to develop optimally. The learning environment survey explores information related to the quality of learning and the school climate that can support learning which includes a school safety climate, school diversity climate, socio-economic index, learning quality and teacher development.

Abstract

Religions in the world and in Indonesia which are included in the largest religions because of the number of adherents, are Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Confucianism. This study focuses on one of the yadnya ceremonies contained in Hinduism known as Otonan where the researchers will observe and compare what terms are used by other religions in commemorating the birth day that is believed to be. This research is a qualitative research. Collecting data in this study using the method of observation and literature study. The data of this study were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive technique. The results of the research are presented in a descriptive or narrative form that is creative and in-depth. The results of the study are as follows: In Hinduism, this Otonan has the meaning of Birthday based on the Wuku Balinese Calendar. With the term Otonan, Hindus carry out a ceremony to commemorate the birthday of their people. In Christianity, the day of the Holy Spirit is celebrated every Sunday as a celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. In Catholic teaching, the term otonan in Hinduism can be equated with the Selapanan ceremony. In Islamic teachings, the term is equated with the birthday of the Prophet's Birthday. The moment of someone's birth is one of the most awaited moments. Moreover, that moment was the birth of a great human being. In Buddhism, the term otonan can be equated with Vesak Day as a commemoration of the birth, enlightenment, and death of the Buddha, Siddharta Gautama. In the teachings of Confucianism, there are no celebrations that have the same purpose as the term otonan found in Hinduism.
