Abstract

Timbulharjo sub-district, as part of Kapanewon Sewon, is categorized as a developed sub-district, and has experienced very rapid development progress. The impact of this development includes the reduction in agricultural land. This is because agricultural land has experienced conversion, both for housing and public facilities such as schools, offices, factories, hotels and tourist attractions. Considering that Timbulharjo Subdistrict is crossed by two large rivers, namely the Winongo River and the Code River, land conversion without being accompanied by replacement of catchment land or a good drainage system will cause a big problem, namely the potential for rain runoff which can cause inundation (flooding). This incident of inundation (flooding) has been proven to have occurred in several areas in Timbulharjo District, one of which was at Timbulharjo Elementary School on March 22 2021. Therefore, efforts need to be made to reduce the potential for flooding, one of which is with a simple drainage system that can be implemented by rural communities. . This activity aims to provide insight and knowledge to the public regarding one way to overcome the danger of flooding with absorption wells. The form of activity chosen was in the form of counseling and outreach to community members, one of which was the PKK women's group. The results achieved from this outreach activity are the formation of a community that understands flood management efforts using infiltration wells.

Abstract

The demand for temporary housing for students in Yogyakarta, particularly in Depok District, has increased along with the growing number of incoming students. This study aims to identify students' preferences in choosing rental housing, which is part of the studentification phenomenon in Depok District. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, with questionnaires as the data collection instrument. The primary factors identified as determinants are price, proximity to campus, adequate facilities, and aspects of safety and environmental comfort. Analysis of student housing choices indicates that proximity to campus, affordable rent, and adequate facilities are the main factors in their decisions. Strategic location, close to infrastructure and easy access, as well as facilities like kitchens and parking spaces, are highly valued. Security features, such as CCTV and guards, and environmental comfort are also additional considerations, while boarding houses far from activity centers, expensive, or overly exclusive are less popular. In conclusion, students tend to seek housing that offers the best combination of location, price, facilities, security, and comfort to efficiently support their daily lives.

Abstract

Trains are one of the alternatives in the development of transportation that requires efficiency of transportation capacity, time, and durability as well as comfort, both facilities and infrastructure. Research objectives: a) To determine user perceptions of Purwosari Station infrastructure facilities. b) To determine user satisfaction with Purwosari Station infrastructure facilities. c) To determine facilities that require improvement regarding Purwosari Station infrastructure facilities. The research method used in the study is IPA (important performance analysis). Data collection techniques are carried out manually in the field by distributing questionnaires to Purwosari Station users. Based on the results of the analysis of the level of suitability and quadrant analysis, it is concluded that the reliability and regularity variables are achievements that need to be maintained by the station because they have the highest percentage, namely 89.03% and for the convenience variable it has a percentage of 88.22%. For the safety variable, it has the highest level of satisfaction, namely with a score of 416. There are no facilities that require repair, because based on the results of the quadrant analysis, there are no items in quadrant I. Abstract

The rice milling industry produces 35% rice husk, which contains silica (SiO2) as one of its main components. Rice husk comprises water (9.02%), ash (17.71%), and carbohydrates (33.71%). Silica gel is derived from the coagulation of sodium silicate (NaSiO₂) sol and is highly porous, making it effective in moisture adsorption. Utilizing rice husk for silica gel production presents an efficient solution. Rice husk gasification transforms biomass waste into syngas, with ash as a byproduct. This study involved processing rice husk ash from gasification into sodium silicate, followed by a sol-gel process using both strong and weak acids to produce silica gel. Gasification was performed at 750 °C for 5 hours. The ash was ground and sieved (150 mesh). Extraction was conducted at 80°C for 1 hour using 1N NaOH, after which acid was added until the pH reached 7. The acids used were 1N HCl and acetic acid . The mixture was heated to 80°C until the silica gel reached a constant weight. The resulting silica gel was analyzed using FT-IR and tested for air moisture adsorption. The synthesis of silica gel using HCl yielded less product compared to using CH3COOH. FT-IR analysis of the rice husk ash silica gel indicated the presence of Si-OH and Si-O-Si functional groups. In the water adsorption test, silica gel synthesized with strong acid (HCl) exhibited higher water adsorption capability compared to silica gel synthesized with weak acid (CH3COOH).

Abstract

The Semilir Formation located in Ngoro-Oro, Gunungkidul, has significant lithofacies diversity, reflecting dynamic depositional conditions in the past and indicating a recurring depositional pattern. The limitations of stratigraphic and geostatistical information are the main reasons for this research. This study aims to identify the characteristics of lithofacies in the Semilir Formation, Ngoro-Oro, Gunungkidul, and analyze the relationship between facies through the chi-square statistical test. In addition, the pattern of lithofacies repetition and transition is evaluated using the Markov chain method to determine the probability of lithofacies repetition and predict the stratigraphic sequence at the research location. The research was conducted on ancient rock outcrops along the Prambanan-Wonosari alternative route located in Ngoro-Oro Village, Patuk District, Gunungkidul Regency, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta Province by conducting stratigraphic measurements with a thickness of 78 meters using Jacob stuff then continued with geostatistical analysis using the Markov chain method. This method will provide an understanding of the prediction of lithofacies transition patterns in the research area. The research results reveal that the lithofacies at the study location consist of lithology composed of sandstone interbedded with claystone and tuff, sandstone interbedded with claystone with siltstone inserts, and sandstone interbedded with siltstone with claystone inserts. Abstract

Wind energy is one of variant of renewable energy resources of Indonesia. Wind mills was one of equipments to convert wind energy to shaft mechanical work. A type of vertical axis windmill whose characteristics was not widely known was cross flow windmill. The purpose of this research was to investigate a cross flow windmill with eight blades, 78 cm diameter and 90 cm height. The variation on the research was adjust the pitch angle of the blade, to be 0, 10 and 20 degrees, respectively. Based on the observations that have been made was obtained a graph of the relationship between Cp and tsr of the windmill. Based on the graph, the cross flow windmill with pitch angle of 20 degree gives the largest Cp value, about 4.3 percent with the largest tsr value range, between 0.14 and 0.49. The graph of Cp and tsr relationship for a cross flow windmill with pitch angle of blades 20 degree was below the Cp and tsr relationship of American Wind Mill windmills. Abstract

Pembangunan jalan tol Solo - Yogyakarta - YIA Kulon Progo bertujuan untuk meningkatkan konektivitas dan aksesibilitas antara Provinsi Jawa Tengah dan Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami perencanaan konstruksi, dengan fokus utama pada jenis pondasi yang digunakan, yaitu pondasi bore pile.. Pondasi bore pile dipilih sebagai solusi optimal untuk proyek ini, mengingat karakteristik tanah yang dilewati, termasuk area yang berdekatan dengan aliran sungai dengan arus deras. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dan observasi langsung pada proyek pembangunan tol Solo - Yogyakarta - YIA Kulon Progo. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan bore pile mendukung keberlanjutan konstruksi dan efektivitas operasional proyek jalan tol ini, khususnya dalam menghadapi tantangan beban berat dan kondisi tanah yang bervariasi. Jumlah bore pile yang digunakan pada proyek Pembangunan Tol Solo - Jogja sebanyak 192 tiang dengan 2 abutmen : 24 x 2, 3 Pir : 48 x 3

Peningkatan kualitas pelayanan rumah sakit terkait pelayanan rawat jalan eksekutif, maka sebuah rumah sakit harus meyelenggarakan fasilitas pelayanan rawat jalan eksekutif yang terpisah dari rawat jalan regular. Permasalahan yang timbul adalah kebutuhan sebuah Rumah Sakit Ortopedi memiliki kekhususan berbeda dengan rumah sakit umum yaitu penanganan pasien dengan keluhan atau sakit pada bagian tulang, sendi, dan ototnya. serta penanganan cedera tulang akibat kegiatan olahraga atau kecelakaan, menempati lokasi area lantai satu bangunan eksisting berlantai tiga yang dulunya digunakan sebagai UGD, sehingga kegiatan ini termasuk pada redesain,. Penataan ulang ruang sesuai kebutuhan fungsi baru, standar yang berlaku saat ini, juga memenuhi tuntutan kenyamanan, kemewahan, privasi yang tinggi bagi pasien, ketersediaan fasilitas dan peralatan medis modern, kemudahan akses dan koordinasi, serta memberikan rasa aman dan terlindungi. Tujuannya memberikan kenyamanan dan pengalaman yang positif bagi pasien, serta memudahkan pekerjaan dokter serta tenaga kesehatan lainnya. Proses renovasi menggunakan perhitungan efisiensi energi melalui desain arsitektur menggunakan bukaan pada selubung bangunan untuk mendapatkan tepat, didukung perhitungan DfGE. Ruang rawat jalan eksekutif ini juga memenuhi peraturan daerah tentang Penyelenggaraan Bangunan Gedung yang mensyaratkan tata bangunan yang selaras dengan nilai budaya Jawa serta lingkungannya. Arsitektur dan interior ruang penerima menggunakan ikonik batik dan wayang yang menunjukkan identitas Surakarta.

PT. Sugih Alamanugroho is a company that operates in the mining and processing of limestone. The limestone processing factory is located in Bedoyo Village, Ponjong District, Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region Province. This research was conducted to understand the technical aspects of the processing unit and provide alternative improvements that can be made to achieve the ideal daily production target. The research results show that the employee's working time schedule is 14 working hours. The reduction in time for obstacles that cannot be avoided is 32.1 minutes and obstacles that can be avoided is 437.8 minutes. Then the time for obstacles that cannot be avoided becomes 30 minutes and obstacles that can be avoided is 0 minutes. Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara terbesar yang memiliki potensi dikelola secara profesional yang bergerak dibidang peternakan, salah satunya adalah sektor perternakan sapi. Produsen utama untuk mencukupi kebutuhan pangan seperti daging dan susu adalah komoditas peternakan. Kebanyakan petani memotong rumput dengan tangan menggunakan sabit, parang, atau alat pertanian tradisional. Metode manual ini akan membutuhkan lebih banyak waktu dan usaha. Maka dari itu, mesin pencacah rumput mekanis merupakan mesin yang sangat berguna di bidang peternakan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tentang analisis variasi dudukkan mata pisau parallel dengan dudukkan mata pisau spiral mesin diperoleh nilai rata-rata kapasitas efektif sebesar 153,83 Kg/jam, sedangkan dudukkan yang berbeda yaitu spiral sebesar 165,35 Kg/jam. Nilai kapasitas kerja teoritis dudukkan mata pisau spiral dan dudukkan mata pisau parallel berbeda sebesar 226,8 Kg/jam. Nilai efisiensi kerja mesin pencacah rumput dengan dudukkan mata pisau parallel sebesar 67%, sedangkan dudukkan mata pisau berbeda yaitu sprisal sebesar 83%.
