Abstract

Claw machine games have become an increasingly popular form of entertainment in various places, including shopping malls and cafés. However, despite their popularity, these games raise several concerns, particularly for children and teenagers. This study aims to analyze the practice of claw machine gaming and its impact from the perspective of Islamic economic law. A qualitative research method with a field study approach was used. Data were collected through observations and interviews with café owners, players, and parents of players at Café Kopi INJE, Tanjung Solok. The findings reveal that the game’s appeal lies in its element of challenge and luck, which encourages players to keep trying until they successfully win a prize. However, the game also increases consumerist behavior, triggers addictive effects, and can lead to psychological impacts such as frustration due to repeated failures. Furthermore, the game contains elements of uncertainty (gharar) and gambling (maisir), which contradict the principles of Islamic economic law. In the context of Indonesian law, luck-based games involving money may violate gambling regulations. The novelty of this study lies in its specific analysis of the implications of claw machine games from the perspective of Islamic economic law and their impact on the consumer behavior of children and teenagers. Therefore, stricter regulations are needed for luck-based games targeting children, along with early financial education. Educational and skill-based entertainment alternatives can serve as solutions to reduce the negative effects of these games

Abstract

Digital marketing has become a key instrument for MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) to expand their market reach and compete in the digital era. Although numerous studies have explored digital marketing in general, few have specifically examined unique and engaging strategies that can enhance consumer engagement, brand differentiation, and loyalty in the context of Indonesian MSMEs. This article proposes a strategic framework for distinctive digital marketing by integrating content creativity, personalization, local storytelling, gamification, and omnichannel integration. The research method employed is a literature review and comparative analysis of empirical findings from Indonesian academic journals. The findings indicate that strategies combining interactivity, emotional elements, and adaptation to local characteristics have the potential to significantly improve digital marketing effectiveness. In conclusion, MSMEs need to develop digital marketing strategies that are not only operationally sound but also inspirational. Further field research is recommended to validate this proposed framework.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the compliance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with the application of Financial Accounting Standards for Entities Without Public Accountability (SAK-ETAP) in Boyolali City. The background of this research lies in the low awareness and capability of MSME owners in preparing financial statements based on accounting standards, which may affect business management and access to financing. The variables examined include educational background, business age, and socialization or training received by MSME owners. This research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method conducted on 100 MSME respondents across three districts in Boyolali City. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results reveal that educational background, business age, and socialization positively and significantly affect MSME compliance with SAK-ETAP implementation. Simultaneously, these three variables contribute 80.8% to the application of SAK-ETAP. The findings highlight the importance of enhancing competencies through formal education and training, business experience, and government support in the form of socialization and assistance, enabling MSMEs to prepare financial reports in accordance with accounting standards. Therefore, implementing SAK-ETAP can promote transparency, increase business credibility, and strengthen the sustainability of MSMEs in Boyolali City.
