Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of recruitment and training on employee performance at PT Gajah Mada Barokah Sukses Makmur (GM Production Indonesia) in Yogyakarta. The research background is based on the phenomenon of a mismatch between the number of applicants and the quality of human resources required by the company, which operates in a dynamic and competitive event organizer industry. Despite receiving thousands of applicants, only a few qualified to be hired. Therefore, the company provides internal training to enhance employee competencies and professionalism. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method with 70 internal employees as respondents. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that both partially and simultaneously, recruitment and training have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.694 indicates that 69.4% of the variance in employee performance can be explained by recruitment and training, while the remaining 30.6% is influenced by other factors. These findings emphasize that selective recruitment and targeted training are crucial in building a competent workforce in the event organizer industry.

Abstract

Study This aim For analyze influence self efficacy , job description , and climate organization to productivity Work employees at PT. Pelindo Multi Terminal Petikemas both partially and simultaneously. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with a multiple linear regression approach. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to employees and analyzed using a statistical program. The results of the study indicate that partially, the self-efficacy variable has a positive and significant effect on work productivity. This indicates that the higher the level of employee confidence and belief in their abilities, the higher their work productivity. Likewise, the job description variable, which is also partially proven to have a positive and significant effect on work productivity. Clarity of job descriptions has been shown to increase employee focus, effectiveness, and work efficiency. Meanwhile, the organizational climate variable, partially does not have a positive and significant effect on work productivity. This indicates that the existing organizational climate is not strong enough or conducive to encouraging increased individual productivity. However, when the three variables are tested simultaneously, namely self-efficacy, job description , and organizational climate, the results show a positive and significant effect together on employee work productivity. This finding indicates that work productivity is influenced by a combination of interacting internal and external factors. Therefore, company management needs to manage these three factors in an integrated and sustainable manner to create synergy that can improve overall employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of media in the communication of flood management policies in Banjarmasin City, an area prone to flooding due to its geographical characteristics and rapid urbanization. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGDs), and content analysis of local media coverage. The data were analyzed using techniques of data reduction, thematic categorization, and narrative interpretation. The findings reveal that the government's communication strategy remains predominantly top-down, relying heavily on digital media and technocratic narratives that are often difficult for the public to comprehend. Local media play a significant role in disseminating policy information but tend to favor government perspectives while providing limited space for civil society voices. The study also identifies several communication challenges, including unequal access to information, weak inter-agency coordination, and limited public dialogue. These findings highlight the need for a reformulation of flood policy communication strategies to be more dialogical, participatory, and community-based to enhance public awareness, preparedness, and active engagement in disaster mitigation.

Abstract

The development of financial technology (FinTech) has opened significant opportunities to expand access to inclusive financial services, including within the Islamic finance ecosystem. This article examines how the integration of Islamic financial technology (sharia fintech) can enhance digital financial inclusion among Indonesian society throughout 2021–2025. Using a literature review approach based on academic research, regulatory reports (OJK), and international institutional publications, the findings indicate that sharia fintech has the potential to expand the reach of Islamic financial services, particularly for MSMEs, marginalized communities, and younger generations. However, major challenges include low Islamic financial literacy, regulatory gaps for digital sharia products, as well as data security and sharia governance issues. Recommendations include regulatory harmonization, enhancement of digital–sharia literacy, development of governance standards and sharia compliance certification for digital products, and incentives for platforms that integrate maqasid al-shariah principles and inclusion indicators.

The findings of this study describe that "working capital, business scale, and labor have a positive and significant effect on the income of dairy farmers." The availability of adequate working capital allows farmers to optimize production activities, while a larger business scale increases efficiency and profits. In addition, a skilled and sufficient workforce supports operational effectiveness, which has a direct impact on increasing income. These findings emphasize the importance of access to capital, expanding business scale, and developing human resources as basic strategies to improve the welfare and competitiveness of local dairy farmers.

Abstract

The transformation of the global economy demands financial systems and development policies that are inclusive, sustainable, and equitable. Islamic economics, through instruments such as Islamic banks, zakat, waqf, takāful insurance, and sukuk, holds significant potential to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Indonesia. This article examines the synergy between Islamic economic principles and SDG targets, identifies key instruments (productive zakat, green sukuk, Islamic financial inclusion), and formulates policy strategies to accelerate the contribution of the Islamic sector toward the “Golden Indonesia 2045” vision. The findings show that (1) Islamic financial instruments have demonstrated initiatives toward SDG integration but still require stronger impact measurement and transparent governance; (2) zakat and waqf can be positioned as social development instruments targeting poverty and inequality (SDG 1 & 10); and (3) green sukuk and Islamic green finance products offer sustainable infrastructure financing pathways. Recommendations include regulatory harmonization, capacity building for zakat/waqf management institutions, SDG-based reporting standards, and fiscal incentives for Islamic green instruments.

Abstract

The increasingly intense competition in the event industry requires every event organizer (EO) company to improve the quality of their services and marketing strategies in order to win bids (tenders) for organizing events from both government and corporate clients. The success of bidding is one of the key factors that determine an EO company's success in becoming the selected event organizer, which is essential for the company's sustainability and growth. This study aims to analyze the influence of pricing and presentation techniques on bidding success at CV Reel Seven Organizer in Palembang. A quantitative approach was used, employing a survey method involving 75 respondents who are clients of CV Reel Seven Organizer. The independent variables in this study are price and presentation technique, while the dependent variable is bidding success. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The validity and reliability tests showed that all research instruments were valid and reliable. The t-test results indicated that both price and presentation technique have a significant partial effect on bidding success. Meanwhile, the F-test indicated that both independent variables simultaneously have a significant effect on bidding success. The coefficient of determination (R²) showed that price and presentation technique contribute 62.8% to the variation in bidding success. These findings highlight the importance of setting competitive prices and using effective presentation techniques to attract and gain the trust of clients. Therefore, companies need to pay close attention to pricing strategies and improve presentation skills in every bidding process.
