Abstract

This study aims to explore the development and conceptual direction of Digital Islam through a Systematic Literature Review and Bibliometric Analysis. Data were collected from Scopus (2020-2025) with an exclusive focus on the primary keyword “Digital Islam” to provide a more specific and in-depth perspective. Of the 561 articles collected, only four were included in the review analysis stage. The results indicate that academic interest in the study of Digital Islam remains relatively low; however, the topic is steadily increasing, suggesting that this field remains a significant and rapidly growing area of research. Geographically, the research is dominated by contributions from Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, the United States, and Morocco. These findings demonstrate that countries with Muslim-majority populations do not solely dominate the issue of Digital Islam. In addition, Digital Islam, developed from four published studies, presents an integrative framework that links religious authority, digital media, identity, gender, economic transformation, and socio-cultural issues. Theoretically, this research contributes to the development of a conceptual foundation for future studies of Digital Islam. Practically, the results offer valuable insights for educators, policymakers, and religious institutions to navigate the ethical challenges and opportunities of the digital era

Abstract

Education is a defense premise that has the goal of developing values and skills in students. Education, according to Ibn Sina, focuses more on formal learning and independent learning. This makes the author think that Ibn Sina's perspective is still valid and can be taken. The research method used is library research by (1) modifying the problem, (2) looking for related articles, (3) sorting out information and (4) analyzing the data obtained. The result of this study is that Ibn Sina's perspective education is motivated by his philosophical thoughts. So that the purpose of Education from Ibn Sina's perspective prioritizes the application to the soul of the students. The educational methods used by Ibn Sina are: Discussion method, talqin method, demonstration method, habituation and example method, internship method, assignment method, targhib and tarhib method. So that in this Ibn Sina education a teacher must be able to take his attention, be able to take his heart. The relevance to the independent curriculum is in the same goal, namely: Students with noble character and high insight display superior and competitive quality of human resources. And the methodology of Ibn Sina's education is very relevant to the development of the current independent curriculum.

Abstract

This research aims to provide an alternative to collecting zakat funds by utilising a digital platform that facilitates the community in terms of distribution and collection of funds. Optimising the use of zakat funds can solve social challenges such as poverty and income inequality. This research uses qualitative methods to analyse the factors and barriers in zakat payment from various sources, with the aim of understanding more deeply about the optimisation of zakat fund collection by considering the problems faced by the community. This research found that the financial technology system with crowdfunding method is able to optimise the collection and distribution of funds that allow individuals or groups to contribute funds collectively, in this case zakat. The cooperation between financial technology platform providers and Lembaga Amil Zakat (LAZ) has enabled muzaki to pay zakat flexibly, through transfer payment and selection of trusted amil, using only internet access. This method will expand the reach of zakat fund recipients and collectors. Although this payment model has started to be used by Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS) and Islamic banks, it has not been fully optimised in Indonesia. The main challenges include uneven accessibility for all levels of society and limited digital literacy.

Abstract

This research aims to analysis the transitive and intransitive verb from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secret Novel Chapter 1-5. This research used descriptive qualitative method to gain the data. There are 38 phrasal verbs classified based on those that have direct objects and those that do not have direct objects in their sentences. This study shows that there are 28,95% transitive verbs along with 71,05 phrasal verbs used by the author in the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets novel page 1-110. This highlights a significant preference for the use of phrasal verbs in emphasizing action or changing the meaning of a word when a particle has been added. Transitive Phrasal Verb such as pick up, put on, and take off are used to indicate actions involving direct object, while Intransitive Phrasal Verb such as got up, went down, and come in describe actions without direct object. This analysis shows that the use of phrasal verb in novel has various idiomatic meanings that cannot always be translated literally, and this not only enriches the language style but also reflects the dynamics of the characters in the narrative situation. This finding is expected to contribute to the understanding of English grammatical structure, especially in the learning and translating literary works.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the strategy of developing digital green assets in green waqf with a pentahelix approach. Through this strategy, poverty and challenging environmental issues can be addressed by ensuring a balance between economic development and environmental preservation. This research uses descriptive-qualitative analysis method and literature study to explore in-depth understanding of the strategy of developing green digital assets in green waqf, and identify how the pentahelix approach is able to develop the strategy. The results and discussion identify that the pentahelix model is able to play a key role in developing green digital assets in green waqf, where the pentahelix model relates to cooperation between government, academia, business, community and media. Green waqf can be started by raising funds through a crowdfunding mechanism, then channeled to empower damaged forests with the aim of restoring them to green forests to have ecological value, which will then be endowed for the benefit of the community. The conclusion of this research is that the strategy of developing digital green assets in green waqf using the pentahelix approach can be a solution to alleviate poverty and improve welfare. However, there are still some challenges faced regarding the potential of waqf in Indonesia, such as the lack of professionalism of nazirs, low public waqf literacy, and not optimal education and socialization of green waqf.

Abstract

The Crusades (1095-1291) were one of the most complex historical phenomena in the history of international relations, creating patterns of conflict and peace that continue to influence global dynamics to this day. This research aims to analyze how the construction of religious identity, enemy perceptions, and the legacy of violent/peaceful rhetoric from the Crusades shaped contemporary international relations patterns. Using Alexander Wendt's constructivist theoretical approach, this study applies a qualitative method with historical analysis and discourse to Crusade historical documents, political speeches, diplomatic narratives, and foreign policy. The results of the study show that the Crusades not only created a polarized religious identity between Christianity and Islam, but also resulted in innovative mechanisms of diplomacy and peace through trade agreements, strategic alliances, and cultural exchanges. Key findings reveal that the legacy of the Crusades has been internalized in the cognitive structures of international actors, shaping perceptions of threats and opportunities in West-Middle East relations. The conclusions of this study show that the understanding of the social construction of identity and norms rooted in the Crusades makes a significant contribution to the analysis of contemporary international relations, especially in understanding the dynamics of conflict and peace in the Middle East region and cross-civilizational relations.

Abstract

The historical construction of Indonesian Occidentalism developed through critiques of Western epistemological and cultural hegemony, from the colonial period to post-independence. Mohammad Rasjidi (1915-2001) emerged as a key figure in shaping Indonesian Occidentalism, a framework critiquing Western dominance. This article aims to explore Rasjidi’s views on the West, his critiques of Orientalism and modernism, and his contributions to Indonesian Occidentalism within the global discourse on decolonizing knowledge. Using a qualitative approach with library research, this study analyzes Rasjidi’s primary works and relevant secondary sources through an interpretative-historical lens. The findings show that Rasjidi played an active role in constructing Indonesian Occidentalism by criticizing the secularization and moral relativism of the West, rejecting the unfiltered adoption of Western paradigms in Islamic studies, and using Western intellectual tools to critique the West itself as a protective strategy. Rasjidi’s ideas represent the defensive-polemic phase of Indonesian Occidentalism, laying the groundwork for more dialogical-academic generations like Mukti Ali and Nurcholish Madjid, enriching the Islamic perspective in the West-East relationship in a constructive and sustainable way

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to channel students' ability to solve mathematical problems, especially those related to linear equations and dependent on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). With 18 students as research subjects in one of the junior high schools in Bandung Regency, a quantitative descriptive method was used. Understanding the problem, planning a solution strategy, implementing the plan, and re-checking the solution are Polya's problem-solving indicators used to collect data. The results showed that most students still failed to re-check and plan a solution strategy. In addition, there was a significant variation in ability among students, with most being in the medium and low ability categories. The problems faced by students included failure to systematically submit concepts when planning strategies and lack of thoroughness in re-checking answers to ensure their correctness. Therefore, a more effective learning approach is needed with a focus on strengthening critical thinking and problem-solving skills through HOTS practice questions.
