Abstract

This study aims to explore user experiences in utilizing mobile banking applications in Indonesia through usability testing and the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). The rapid growth of mobile banking technology necessitates a focused approach to understanding user experiences to ensure applications are both efficient and satisfying to use. Usability testing is employed to evaluate how well mobile banking applications meet user needs and expectations. Users perform a series of tasks designed to cover the core features of the application, while researchers observe and record responses, difficulties, and the time required to complete each task. The results of the usability testing provide detailed insights into specific issues encountered by users when interacting with mobile banking applications. These findings offer an in-depth perspective on the strengths and weaknesses of existing mobile banking applications in Indonesia. This information can guide application developers in implementing necessary improvements and enhancements, ensuring that users have a more satisfying and efficient experience when using mobile banking services. Furthermore, this study contributes to raising awareness and understanding of user-centered development practices in mobile banking application design in Indonesia.

There was an 84% rise in the pronunciation component when speaking skills were taken into consideration. The percentage improvement was 87% in the vocabulary area. The percentage rise in PBA students' debate in the comprehension area was 75%, the percentage improvement in the fluency area was 82%, and the percentage gain in grammar accuracy was 74%. Pronunciation and fluency had the greatest average scores across the five categories in the PBA student debate community's post-test evaluation.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of teachers in enhancing students' learning motivation, the challenges they face, and the solutions implemented to overcome these challenges. The research was motivated by observations of fluctuating learning motivation among students at a Islamic senior high school in Surakarta, Indonesia, influenced by environmental factors, peer dynamics, and individual character traits. These fluctuations manifest in low enthusiasm for learning, reluctance to participate in class activities, and delays in completing and submitting assignments. Recognizing the need for improvement in students’ motivation, this descriptive qualitative research adopts a phenomenological design to provide an in-depth understanding of the issue. The findings reveal that teachers play a crucial role in enhancing students’ motivation through the adoption of appropriate learning methods, leveraging technological tools, and designing supplementary programs. However, teachers encounter significant challenges, including diverse student characteristics, limited school resources, and high budget requirements. To address these challenges, teachers employ strategies such as offering personalized assistance and supervision, optimizing available learning facilities, and creating an initial budget plan for activities. This study underscores the importance of innovative and adaptive approaches by teachers to foster a more motivated learning environment.

Abstract

The curriculum is a fundamental component of education, serving as a framework to guide effective teaching and learning processes. To implement Islamic Religious Education (PAI) effectively and achieve its objectives, PAI teachers must possess a strong understanding of the principles underpinning PAI curriculum development. This study aims to explore the general principles of curriculum development, analyze specific principles related to PAI curriculum design, and examine their implications for the 2013 curriculum and the independent curriculum. Utilizing a literature review methodology, this study highlights that the principles of PAI curriculum development should align all learning activities with Islamic education while focusing on the students' potential, needs, character, and environmental context. Additionally, the curriculum must be diverse, integrated, responsive to rapid societal changes, relevant to societal and life needs, supportive of lifelong learning, and balanced between national and global interests. Furthermore, the principles of relevance, flexibility, continuity, efficiency, and effectiveness should be prioritized to ensure that curriculum development objectives are well-structured and achievable. The findings indicate that the principles of PAI curriculum development complement the 2013 curriculum and the independent curriculum, providing a cohesive framework for advancing Islamic education in contemporary contexts.

Abstract

The main problem raised in this jurnal is how the concept of marhamah described by Buya Hamka can be implemented in the current education system to produce individuals who are not only intellectually intelligent but also have noble character in accordance with the goals of national education based on the 1945 Constitution. Then there is still high behavior that is not in accordance with character education regulations such as bullying, use of illegal drugs, alcohol and the rampant promiscuity, sexual harassment, brawls and violence, as well as current phenomena such as excessive anxiety (Anxiety), mental health (mental health) and even the impact of causing a rampant suicide (suicide) among teenagers and the latest is online gambling addiction. In addition, the challenge in character education today is how to integrate spiritual and moral values effectively in the formal education process because the concept of Character Education is not yet comprehensive and optimal in its application. The research method used is a literature review (Library research) and text analysis, with the main focus on the Tafsir Al-Azhar as the main source. The results of the study show that Buya Hamka emphasizes the importance of integrating the values of affection in character formation and not only limited to individual behavior, but is a moral foundation that must be applied in community and state life. This finding shows that the concept of character education based on marhamah in Tafsir Al-Azhar is relevant to be implemented in a modern education system.
