Abstract

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Dadirejo Village, Pekalongan, will receive support and training on financial reporting. Financial records are expected to provide knowledge of accounting, in particular calculating the price of sales items and using them in accordance with the Financial Accounting Standards. All of these communal devotions are held in one place, namely in the Hot Nyot dining room, on May 23, 2024. The implementation of this activity is in the form of accompanying and training the price calculation of goods of sale (HPP) for the seller of the dining house. Surveys (for planning), implementation (for interviews and observations), and evaluation are the processes used. The result of this community service activity is that the UMKM supporter of the Hot Nyot Dining Shop needs an accompaniment to record the financial reports. It is important to improve their knowledge and skills in accounting, especially the calculation of sales commodity prices (HPPs) in accordance with the Financial Accounting Standards, as well as teaching them online marketing strategies. The evaluation results showed a significant improvement in the ability to determine appropriate selling prices and use information technology to increase market share. Thus, this addition is expected to help UMKM achieve optimal profitability and sustainability.

Abstract

Acts of lack of discipline often occur and they are everywhere, even in educational institutions such as Pesma (Student Islamic Boarding School). There are many mahasantri who live a disciplined life and every year they can improve their Ma'had discipline, but there are still some mahasantri who are not disciplined, such as being late for congregational prayers, being late for big boarding events and not being disciplined when sleeping at night and there are still many acts of lack of discipline by mahasantri that are carried out by mahasantri by several mahasantri. Planning, processing and evaluating learning and various things is one of the competencies that must be mastered by a service ustadzah. The problem raised in this research is what is the role of the service ustadzah in disciplining the intensive female students of IDIA Prenduan in 2023-2024 which is broken down into 2, namely: 1. What is the role of the service ustadzah in disciplining the intensive female students at Ma'had Institut Dirosat Islamiyah Al-Amien Prenduan . 2. What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for service ustadzah in disciplining students at Ma'had Institut Dirosat Islamiyah Al-Amien Prenduan. The data collection in this research used observation, interviews and documentation methods. To test the validity of the data, this research uses source triangulation and technical triangulation with pre-field research stages, field worker stages and data analysis stages. Based on the discussion of the results of this research, it can be concluded that the roles of service ustadzahs in disciplining mahasantri are: Role as caregiver, role as controller/supervisor, role as motivator, role as friend and family and the role of Uswatun Hasanah for intensive female students. The supporting factors for service ustadzah in intensively disciplining female students are: The existence of BEMA administrators, the existence of rules and regulations, the existence of self-awareness of the importance of discipline. There are also factors inhibiting service ustadzah in disciplining intensive female students, namely: Lack of self-awareness of the importance of discipline, using seniors as benchmarks and differences in character.

Abstract

India, with its wealthy biodiversity and numerous ecosystems, has lengthily diagnosed the significance of environmental conservation for sustainable development. Environmental regulation in India encompasses a vast variety of criminal principles, regulations, and insurance policies that goal to defend and retain the environment, stop pollution, and promote sustainable use of herbal resources. In this study, we use a well-designed validated questionnaire to collect the information from 400 College students (200 male and 200 female) via online/offline mode using simple random sampling. The data collected was analysed statistically using statistical software SPSS (Version 20). The results of our study revealed that majority of respondents were not aware of legal laws, an important part of healthy society. It is important for every individual to study and know about environmental laws as it helps in understanding the environmental principles and regulations that govern the protection of environment. Statistically, non-significant difference was observed between Arts and Science Stream students in practice towards environment (P>0.05). Finally, it was suggested that legal literacy about environmental laws may be promoted as it will make society more fair and useful to protect the environment and address global issues related environment.

Abstract

Universities are not independent entities separate from society; they are influenced by political and social systems and possess significant abilities to influence various sectors. As a decision-making system, universities play a crucial role in creating suitable conditions for nurturing transformative leaders. The institutional foundation of universities aims to address the developmental needs of society. A successful university believes in itself and seeks indigenous solutions to real problems. The primary objective of this research is to examine the role of universities as the highest educational and training institutions in empowering individuals and society. Initially, the study explored the literal and terminological meanings of empowerment. Then, we highlight the most important functions of universities concerning individual and societal empowerment. After clarifying universities’ role as the highest educational and training institutions, we addressed the question of how universities can effectively contribute to the empowerment of individuals and society. This research adopts an analytical approach that examines and analyzes expert opinions, literature reviews, and previous studies.

Abstract

TThe government initiated the School Literacy Movement (in Indonesian: Gerakan Literasi Sekolah or GLS) program in the Merdeka Curriculum as an effort to foster a culture of student literacy. This program requires schools to have a special program to optimize the School Literacy Movement. Meanwhile, there are obstacles in implementing the literacy movement in schools, namely the lack of literacy training for students with special needs in schools and the lack of availability of books at SLB B Yakut. With this reading corner literacy program based on local wisdom, it is hoped that this can be a solution to the problems above. The importance of literacy culture is to develop basic abilities and skills for a person in acquiring knowledge, skills, as well as forming attitudes for deaf-speech students so that they care about local wisdom culture. The purpose of carrying out this service is 1) to describe the implementation of GLS through reading corners and 2) to explain the impact of using local wisdom-based reading corners in SLB B Yakut. Methods for implementing service include: (1) approach methods taken starting from surveys, licensing, and providing motivation to teachers who will take part in training (2) program implementation methods, including the preliminary stage, socialization and audience stages, implementation stage, and monitoring stage and evaluation. As a result of this activity, students with special needs are expected to have literacy habits through reading corners at school. The strategy in the school literacy movement through reading corners prioritizes the affective social environment as a model of literate communication and conditions the physical environment to be literacy-friendly, such as making teachers role models in implementing the school literacy movement.
