Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the Electronic Test Pass Certificate (BLU-e) system in motor vehicle testing at the Transportation Agency of North Central Timor Regency. The main issue in this research is the lack of participation and awareness among motor vehicle owners regarding the importance of regular periodic testing. In this study, the research method used is field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The theory used in this research is the implementation theory proposed by Edward III, which highlights communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The research results show that in the policy of replacing the logbook with the BLU-e system, communication is effective but the socialization related to the BLU-e system has not been thoroughly conducted, the available human resources are limited and there has been no increase in the number of employees, equipment resources are inadequate and often experience damage, but the Transportation Agency of TTU Regency shows very good disposition by providing a positive response as the implementer of the logbook replacement policy with the BLU-e system. The bureaucratic structure of the Transportation Agency of TTU Regency shows clear division of labor and functional boundaries, despite facing challenges such as limited staff and vacant positions. However, effective division of responsibilities and collaboration between teams successfully supported the implementation of the BLU-e system.

Abstract

Low self-esteem is a feeling towards oneself, while problems with poor interpersonal relationships and associated with low anxiety, low affectivity, so that low self-esteem is associated with nursing can cause self-esteem in groups and acceptance of others as valuable in life. High negative self-esteem towards oneself causes loss of self-confidence, pessimism, and is not at risk of depression and schizophrenia, so that negative feelings fundamentally cause loss of self-confidence and self-esteem of individuals and self-esteem disorders (Muhith, 2016). Low Self-Esteem In Islamic teachings, self-esteem (muru'ah) has a very important meaning. Islam teaches its people to maintain self-esteem and dignity, which are considered part of faith. Some key concepts in Islam related to self-esteem include: 'Izzah (Self-Glory): Is a concept that emphasizes the importance of having dignity and honor. In Islam, one must draw closer to Allah to obtain 'izzah, which is a source of glory. Muru'ah: This refers to maintaining self-respect and commendable behavior. Imam Ghazali emphasized that muru'ah is an important attribute in personal transformation, where individuals with high muru'ah will act in accordance with good moral values. 'Iffah (self-restraint): this concept is related to self-control and commendable behavior. Maintaining 'iffah is part of an effort to maintain self-esteem. (Ministry of Religion, 2021) Riskesdas in 2018 stated that 6.7% of the Indonesian population experienced low self-esteem and the highest prevalence was in Yogyakarta with a figure of 10.4%. Research conducted by Aryanyi and Khodijah in 2023 on "The Relationship between Self Esteem and Gratitude: A Review of the Hadith Narrated by Sunan Al-Tirmidhi No. Index 2034 Psychological Perspective" explains that realizing the concept of gratitude can be an implication that individuals have high self-esteem, while individuals who do not realize the concept of gratitude have low self-esteem. Furthermore, in a study conducted by Oktaviana and Aprilliana in 2024 entitled "The Effect of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) on Adolescents Experiencing Low Self-Esteem: a systematic review." explains that CBT has an influence in increasing self-esteem in adolescents who have low self-esteem problems. Islam offers spiritual and moral solutions, while medicine offers psychological and clinical solutions. The disciplines of Islamic and medical views provide a new perspective in dealing with the problem of low self-esteem in each individual. The purpose of this study is to describe and integrate two disciplinary views to analyze coping strategies in Islamic and medical views for patients with low self-esteem. The relevance of Islam and medicine can be integrated holistically to be applied to the problem of low self-esteem.

Abstract

The transformation of digital media has changed the way people receive and shape political information, especially through the TikTok platform which is now a popular political campaign medium among the younger generation. This study aims to examine the form of framing of political content on TikTok during the 2022 Malaysian Election and its influence on the formation of public opinion. With a qualitative approach and using Robert N. Entman's framing model, this study analyzes how political issues are constructed by creators and political parties on TikTok. The results show that TikTok is not only a tool for political mobilization, but also an arena for narrative battles that significantly influence the orientation of young voters. These findings emphasize the importance of media literacy and digital ethics in the current digital democratic landscape.

Abstract

The decentralization policy implemented in Indonesia after the reformation is one of the strategic agendas within the framework of constitutional law reform, especially in terms of the relationship between the central and regional governments. Decentralization is intended to provide broader authority to regions to regulate and manage government affairs based on the principle of regional autonomy. In the context of constitutional law, this policy obtains constitutional legitimacy through Articles 18, 18A, and 18B of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. However, in practice, the implementation of decentralization presents various problems, both in terms of inequality of authority, regional fiscal capacity, to the problem of supervision and accountability of regional government. Expanded regional autonomy is often not followed by institutional and human resource readiness in the regions, thus giving rise to disparities in development between regions. In addition, decentralization opens up opportunities for conflicts of interest, overlapping regulations between the center and regions, and weak coordination in the implementation of government. These various problems indicate the need to strengthen the constitutional law system that can strictly regulate the division of authority, supervision mechanisms, and harmonization of laws and regulations. Thus, it is hoped that decentralization will be able to run effectively and maintain the principle of a unitary state within the framework of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.

Abstract

School canteens are vital facilities that support a healthy learning environment in Vocational High Schools (SMK). This study aims to evaluate the conditions of healthy canteens in SMK and identify strategies to improve their quality. The evaluation results indicate that the nutritional information labels on food products sold are not consistently available, leading to a lack of education for students regarding healthy food choices. Additionally, the implementation of post-pandemic health protocols needs to be enhanced, with stricter supervision of the cleanliness of canteen staff. The school management has appointed a responsible person to oversee the procurement of food ingredients; however, the commitment level of canteen managers to health and nutrition standards remains low. Formal training related to food hygiene and sanitation for food managers and sellers is also lacking. The food sold is generally safe and clean, but the variety of nutritious menu options is still limited. This study recommends the need for training for canteen managers and the establishment of policies regarding food procurement to improve the quality of healthy canteens in schools

Abstract

Losing parents is one of the most difficult experiences a young person can face. This event not only causes sadness but also triggers various complex forms of trauma, including emotional, psychological, social, spiritual, and developmental trauma. The trauma arising from such loss can significantly impact the mental health, social relationships, beliefs, and life meaning of the affected youth. Therefore, a comprehensive and holistic approach to support is required, one that not only focuses on psychological aspects but also addresses spiritual and social dimensions. Pastoral counseling serves as a form of accompaniment that integrates emotional support and spiritual values in the process of trauma recovery. Through this approach, pastoral counselors not only listen to the complaints and pain experienced by the youth but also provide strengthening of faith and hope, helping them find new meaning in life. The pastoral counseling process involves several important steps, such as building an empathetic relationship, providing a safe space for sharing, instilling hope through spiritual values, and reinforcing community support. Thus, the process of healing from trauma due to grief or parental loss can be conducted comprehensively, covering emotional, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects, enabling youth to live their lives with renewed resilience and enthusiasm.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the quality of concrete at the pier head structure of the toll road at KM149 Padaleunyi, Bandung, using the Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV) method. UPV was chosen as a non-destructive tool for crack detection and measuring the quality and uniformity of concrete. Testing was conducted on 10 sample points, with results indicating ultrasonic wave velocities below 3000 m/s, signifying poor and unintegrated concrete condition. The average measured crack depth was 36.55 mm, potentially impacting structural stability. Based on these findings, structural repairs using high-quality crack fillers and routine monitoring are recommended to prevent further damage. Comprehensive structural evaluations are also necessary to ensure the structure can support future loads. This research provides insights into methods for evaluating and improving concrete quality in road infrastructure projects.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of PT. Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk during the 2021–2023 period using the common size analysis method. The data used are secondary data in the form of annual financial statements obtained from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results indicate that the company's financial structure is relatively stable, with a high proportion of current assets and a capital structure dominated by equity, reflecting good liquidity and solvency levels. However, there is a consistent decline in net profit each year due to increasing operating expenses, even though gross profit remains relatively stable. This suggests a decrease in the company’s operational efficiency. Therefore, managerial efforts are needed to manage operating expenses and improve efficiency in order to maintain and enhance the company’s financial performance in the future.
