Abstract

Abstrak Profesi jurnalis memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung kehidupan demokratis melalui fungsi sosialnya sebagai penyedia informasi, pengontrol sosial, dan wadah kritik publik. Undang-Undang Nomor 40 Tahun 1999 tentang Pers, khususnya Pasal 8, menjamin perlindungan hukum bagi jurnalis dalam menjalankan tugas jurnalistik. Namun, berbagai tindakan kekerasan dan teror menunjukkan lemahnya implementasi perlindungan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas Pasal 8 dalam melindungi jurnalis, dengan studi kasus pengiriman kepala babi ke redaksi Tempo pada 19 Maret 2025. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis isi, serta didasarkan pada teori fungsi sosial pers. Hasil menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan antara perlindungan hukum normatif dan realitas di lapangan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan evaluasi kebijakan dan penguatan penegakan hukum agar kebebasan pers dapat terjamin secara nyata. Kata Kunci: jurnalis, kebebasan pers, perlindungan hukum, teori fungsi sosial, undang-undang pers Abstract The journalism profession plays a crucial role in supporting democratic life through its social functions as an information provider, social controller, and platform for public criticism. Law Number 40 of 1999 on the Press, particularly Article 8, guarantees legal protection for journalists in carrying out their duties. However, various acts of violence and terror indicate weaknesses in the implementation of such protection. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Article 8 in safeguarding journalists, using the case of a pig's head sent to the Tempo newsroom on March 19 2025, as a case study. The research employs a qualitative method with a content analysis approach grounded in the theory of the social function of the press. The findings reveal a gap between normative legal guarantees and their practical enforcement. Therefore, policy evaluation and stronger legal enforcement are needed to ensure meaningful press freedom. Keywords: journalist, press freedom, legal protection, social function theory, press law

Abstract

Implementasi video animasi pada mata pelajaran matematika penting guna meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, khususnya pada materi lambang bilangan yang sering dianggap sulit dan kurang menarik. Dengan menggunakan video animasi dapat membantu siswa dalam memahami materi dengan lebih mudah dan menyenangkan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Strategi pembelajaran menggunakan video animasi di SD Negeri Catur, (2) Kendala dalam menggunakan video animasi di SD Negeri Catur, dan (3) Dampak dalam menggunakan video animasi di SD Negeri Catur. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dipakai ialah observasi non partisipan, wawancara terstruktur, dan studi dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul akan dikaji melalui tahap pengumpulan data, memadatkan data, menampilkan data, dan pengambilan kesimpulan dengan memakai teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian berikut memperlihatkan (1) Strategi pembelajaran video animasi pada kegiatan pembukaan, inti dan penutup pembelajaran matematika kelas III di SD Negeri Catur, (2) Kendala dalam penggunaan video animasi di SD Negeri Catur, khususnya kendala yang dihadapi oleh sarana dan prasarana, guru, dan siswa, dan (3) Dampak yang ditimbulkan dari pelaksanaan video animasi di SD Negeri Catur, baik dampak positif maupun dampak negatif, yakni peningkatan motivasi dan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to identify patterns of fraud and accounting manipulation in consolidated financial statements and to develop detection indicators based on theory and technological approaches. Using a systematic literature review method on reputable journals published between 2018 and 2024, this research examines the risks of fraud arising from the complexity of group structures and weak implementation of reporting standards such as PSAK 4. The synthesis reveals that fraud in consolidation commonly occurs through improper elimination of intercompany transactions, unjustified consolidation of entities, and limited disclosure of related party transactions. The fraud pentagon theory is applied to classify fraud drivers, while red flags and machine learning-based findings are used to develop fraud detection indicators. This study concludes with five fraud indicator categories specific to consolidation reports and recommends the integration of detection technology to enhance audit and oversight effectiveness.

Abstract

This article explores the strategic role of Cyber Public Relations (Cyber PR) in shaping image and maintaining organizational reputation in the digital era. This approach utilizes modern communication technologies, especially social media, to create broader and more responsive public engagement. The study employs a qualitative method with a literature review approach based on various reputable national academic journals. The findings indicate that Cyber PR is not merely a promotional tool, but a key instrument in building trust and long-term relationships with the public. Challenges such as misinformation, digital reputation crises, and public transparency demands are prominent issues, yet can be addressed through adaptive and data-driven communication strategies. Simultaneously, the opportunities provided by digital media such as message virality, communication personalization, and digital collaboration become major strengths for PR practitioners. In conclusion, Cyber PR is an essential and integral tool for building effective and sustainable organizational communication in the modern public communication landscape.

Abstract

Abstrak Krisis iklim global merupakan dampak dari degradasi lingkungan akibat pembangunan yang tidak berkelanjutan. Sektor keuangan mulai memainkan peran penting dalam merespons tantangan ini melalui adopsi norma keuangan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan bagaimana norma keuangan berkelanjutan terbentuk dan menyebar secara global, serta siapa aktor utama yang mendorongnya. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan kerangka norm life cycle, penelitian ini menelusuri proses artikulasi, difusi, dan pelembagaan norma dari tahap norm emergence, cascade, hingga internalization. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa UNEP berperan sebagai norm entrepreneur yang memulai penyebaran norma melalui inisiatif kelembagaan lintas sektor, yang kemudian memperoleh adopsi luas dan akhirnya menjadi standar regulatif. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan pelembagaan norma ditentukan oleh kombinasi antara kepemimpinan normatif, dukungan kelembagaan, dan insentif reputasional dalam sistem keuangan global. Kata kunci: Keuangan Berkelanjutan, Norma Global, Kelestarian Lingkungan Abstract The global climate crisis stems from accelerating environmental degradation driven by unsustainable development practices. In response, the financial sector has emerged as a key actor in advancing sustainability through the adoption of sustainable finance norms. This study examines how these norms are formed and diffused at the global level, and identifies the principal actors driving the process. Using a qualitative approach and the norm life cycle framework, the research traces the norm’s trajectory through the stages of emergence, cascade, and internalization. Findings indicate that the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), acting as a norm entrepreneur, initiated cross-sectoral institutional partnerships that promoted the integration of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations. The widespread adoption of these norms and their incorporation into formal regulatory frameworks demonstrate a shift in global financial governance. The study concludes that normative leadership, institutional support, and reputational incentives are key to successful norm institutionalization. Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a debate about who is the main actor in the policy-making process—whether the government bases policy on a democratic mandate or on a scientific-technocratic authority that is considered to be more “understanding” and has “knowledge” about the situation. This research aims to explore the extent to which the principles of epistocracy—power based on knowledge authority—play a role in the decision-making process during the pandemic. Using a qualitative approach and process tracing method, this article explores institutional and policy dynamics during the pandemic in Indonesia. Research findings indicate that the character of epistocracy in Indonesia's pandemic response is partial and temporary. This means that the epistocratic approach does not completely replace the democratic system during times of crisis and epistocracy only works during the pandemic period. Decisions with epistocratic nuances emerge gradually, rather than happening suddenly. Apart from that, deliberative processes also tend to be closed during the pandemic. Abstract

Dalam era globalisasi, kebutuhan masyarakat tidak lagi terpenuhi hanya dari wilayah domestik. Transaksi bisnis internasional menjadi sarana penting dalam pertukaran barang jasa, dan ide antar negara, yang mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi dan memperkaya kehidupan masyarakat global. Untuk menjamin kepastian hukum dalam transaksi tersebut, perlindungan hukum menjadi hal yang krusial, terutama saat terjadi sengketa atau wanprestasi antara para pihak. Berdasarkan Pasal 1320 KUHPerdata, perjanjian yang sah harus memenuhi unsur tertentu sebagai dasar hukum kontrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai pentingnya perlindungan hukum dalam transaksi bisnis internasional serta menawarkan alternatif penyelesaian sengketa apabila terjadi wanprestasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian hukum normatif (doktrinal), dengan mengkaji bahan hukum primer dan sekunder. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah untuk dapat menyelesaikan Sengketa secara mudah dan sesuai dengan kebutuhannya Hukum perdagangan internasional menetapkan forum penyelesaian sengketa yang dapat dipilih oleh para pihak melalui berbagai cara damai dengan melalui mediası, negosiasi, arbitrase, dan konsiliasi. Jika cara-cara tersebut tidak berhasil, penyelesaian melalui pengadilan menjadi upaya terakhir, Hukum bisnis internasional memiliki prinsip-prinsip dasar yang menjadi landasan dalam menyelesaikan sengketa, termasuk prinsip kesepakatan para pihak, kebebasan memilih cara penyelesaian sengketa, kebebasan memilih hukum yang berlaku, itikad baik bertujuan untuk menciptakan keadilan dan efisiensi dalam perdagangan internasional.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the main themes found in the film Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010) based on Greek mythology. The film adapts classical mythological stories and presents moral values and conflicts that remain relevant to modern teenage life. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method using thematic analysis to identify the central themes of the film. Data were collected through documentary observation and literature review, then analyzed using the thematic analysis model by Miles, Huberman, & Saldaña. The results of the study reveal four dominant themes in the movie: identity and self-discovery, friendship and loyalty, the conflict of good versus evil, and heroism and sacrifice. These themes represent the moral values of Greek mythology adapted into the context of modern life. The findings are expected to contribute to the study of modern literature and classical mythology adaptation in popular media. Unlike previous studies that focused on character and plot analysis in mythological film adaptations, this research specifically examines the film’s thematic structure and moral messages using a thematic analysis approach by Miles & Huberman. This offers a fresh perspective in understanding how classical mythology is reinterpreted in contemporary popular culture.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the psychological experiences of firstborns in their 20s who assume the role of family breadwinners. In the context of a collectivistic culture such as Indonesia, firstborns are often required to take on great responsibilities both emotionally and financially, which can give rise to their own psychological stress, especially when experienced during the transition period of early adulthood or quarter-life crisis. This study uses a qualitative approach with an interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA) method to explore in depth the subjective meaning of the experience of a participant who meets the criteria as a firstborn aged 20–29 and plays the role of family breadwinner. The results of the study indicate that this role is generally not a conscious choice, but rather a response to a family crisis that results in the parentification process. Participants experience a double burden as breadwinners and emotional breadwinners, with psychological consequences such as anxiety, inner conflict, guilt, and delaying personal aspirations. However, aspects of psychological resilience and positive meanings were also found that were successfully constructed from this experience. These findings highlight the need for psychosocial support for firstborns who experience similar burdens, as well as the importance of recognizing the psychological impact of role dynamics in the family.

Abstract

Language speakers are not only on the side of direct communication; they may also be seen as individuals with established psychological. This psycholinguistic study examines the phenomenon of psychogenic language disorder in the form of childlike speech behavior among young adults, focusing on a subject referred to as VA (20 years old) who exhibits such speech patterns with her partner. The aim of this research is to describe the phonological alterations that occur and to identify the psychological factors underlying this childlike speech behavior. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach, using observation and interviews as data collection techniques. The findings reveal that the subject's childlike speech behavior involves various phonological changes, such as dissimilation, anaptyxis, metathesis, and zeroization. This phenomenon is not caused by any physical disorder, but rather by a psychological drive to seek attention and affection. These findings highlight the significant role of psychological aspects in language production and underscore the importance of considering psychogenic factors in psycholinguistic studies, particularly in understanding mild language disorders of psychological origin.
