Abstract

This research aims to investigate the moral development of adolescents aged 12-17, particularly in the village of Boti, Kie District, South Central Timor Regency, along with the methods employed by parents in shaping their moral compass. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the study collected data through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings encompass several aspects: Firstly, there exists a spectrum of moral behavior among the adolescents, ranging from those who are respectful and courteous towards elders to those who exhibit less desirable conduct towards peers and others. Secondly, parents utilize methods such as advising, demonstrating good habits, and serving as role models to instill moral values in their children. Thirdly, impediments to moral education include negative peer influence in the local environment, parental neglect, and the impact of technology. However, strong familial and positive environmental support serve as significant facilitating factors.

Abstract

Teacher Performance Evaluation aims to improve the quality of education for students by helping teachers realize their potential and carry out their duties as effectively as possible. Teacher performance evaluation focuses on performance and efforts to improve work performance. All teachers must have clear job descriptions because they play an important role in achieving student success. This research uses library research methods. This research method is based on literature findings or library references. Data is collected from various sources: reading, storing, analyzing, and categorizing data to draw reliable conclusions. The results of teacher performance evaluations can be the basis for making corrections, guiding and developing, and providing achievement scores and scores related to teacher career development by regulations. Applicable. If all this can be done well and objectively, high-quality and competitive training can be implemented immediately so that we can build a dignified nation. This makes it possible for teachers with high performance and commitment to be able to plan, implement, and evaluate learning effectively, efficiently, and responsibly. It can be concluded that teacher performance evaluations, which are evaluated based on scientific abilities, behavioral skills, work quality, personal abilities, and communication skills that can create and describe teacher performance activities, can provide quality services for students and the community.

Abstract

Children with autism often face difficulties in social interactions with their peers, which can affect their social and emotional development. In this article, we discuss effective strategies for improving children with autism's social interactions with their peers. With a holistic approach and the right support from the surrounding environment, including family, teachers and therapists, children with autism can develop their social skills. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with interview data collection techniques and analyzing related journals and articles, the number of respondents is 1 person, namely the child's parents, the research location is at the Happy Oppung boarding house on Green Lane number 83 Medan, the aim is how to increase the social interaction of children with autism Towards Peers.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has revolutionized various fields, including education. SketchUp, a user-friendly 3D design software, has become a popular learning medium in the digital era. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using SketchUp media to improve the design skills of SMK students through a literature review method. The method used is a literature review by examining various information sources such as scientific journals, scientific articles, and research reports. SketchUp helps students better visualize their design ideas, understand design concepts more easily, and improve their ability to solve design problems. Training is needed for teachers to improve their ability to use SketchUp in teaching.

Abstract

Pupil interest plays a significant role in their level of engagement in the classroom, and engaged pupils have a higher chance of academic achievement. To gather pertinent data and data sources for this work, a qualitative technique connected to descriptive analysis is employed. Researchers used theories from different publications to conduct literature reviews to gather data sources, which they subsequently processed through analysis and conclusion-making. When children receive positive praise and encouragement from their parents at school, it can help them progress toward more good experiences. The interest of students in learning will grow as a result. Thus, it can be said that there is a strong correlation between pupils’ desire in studying and parental support.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the factors that support the application of the Project Based Learning (PBJL) model in teaching Technical Drawing at Vocational High Schools (SMK). The background to this research is based on the importance of learning Technical Drawing in vocational schools and the challenges in its implementation, as well as the potential of the PBL model to improve the learning process. This research was carried out using the literature study method, where data was collected and analyzed from various sources such as journals, books and related articles. The research results revealed several main supporting factors in implementing the PBL model in teaching Engineering Drawing, such as teacher competence and understanding, student interest and motivation, availability of facilities and infrastructure, supporting curriculum and policies, as well as collaboration with industry. This research provides conclusions about important factors that need to be considered in implementing the PBJL model effectively and the implications of the findings for practitioners and further research.

Abstract

Problem Based Learning (PBL), is a learning model that is able to provide experience and an innovative learning model that can provide active learning conditions for students to solve a problem through the stages of scientific methods so that students can learn knowledge related to the problem as well as have the skills to solve problems. The main objective of PBL is to develop critical thinking, analytical, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in students. Jobsheet is one of the teaching materials that can support learning in the classroom. This study examines the effectiveness of the problem-based learning design model with the use of Jobsheet In the context of Building Construction learning with the use of Problem Based Learning (PBL), the use of jobsheets is very effective in improving learning outcomes and developing the potential abilities of students. This research shows that the Problem Based Learning learning approach that uses jobsheets as a complement is an innovation that refers to the general syntax framework of Problem Based Learning.

Abstract

Abstract The growth of digital technology has opened up new opportunities in learning methods, including the application of Game-Based Learning (GBL) in the field of building construction engineering education. This research aims to explore the impact and benefits of implementing GBL in teaching building construction theory through a comprehensive literature review. The literature review method was used to analyze empirical studies related to the use of games in learning building construction concepts, such as building design, project management, cost calculation, and construction simulation. The review results show that GBL can increase student motivation and engagement, facilitate visualization and understanding of complex concepts, and provide an immersive and interactive learning experience. However, the successful implementation of GBL depends on factors such as the design of games that match the learning objectives, integration with the curriculum, teacher training, and the availability of adequate technological infrastructure. This study concludes that GBL has significant potential in improving the quality of teaching building construction theory and preparing students for challenges in the dynamic world of work. Recommendations for further research and practical implementation are also presented to optimize the benefits of GBL in building construction engineering education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of learning videos in the material of the process of making concrete stones to increase the understanding of student literacy in the world of education. Using the systematic literature review (SLR) method, researchers collect data from previous research by analyzing and recapitulating research results in terms of the effectiveness of the media and learning models used. The results of the analysis in this study that are in accordance with the data obtained draw conclusions that the learning video media in the demonstration learning model in the subject of making concrete stones, helps increase students' understanding in understanding the procedures or steps of the process of making concrete stones.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how effective Quizizz is as a learning evaluation tool at SMK Negeri 26 Jakarta. This research uses a qualitative approach with an open questionnaire, and data is collected through in-depth questionnaires distributed to students. The research results show that Quizizz has several advantages, such as increasing student motivation and involvement in the evaluation process, providing direct feedback that helps students improve their understanding, and making it easier for teachers to track and analyze student learning outcomes more easily. However, technical problems related to internet connectivity and initial adaptation to digital platforms were some of the problems discovered in this research. Overall, Quizizz has proven to be an innovative evaluation tool that helps students at SMK Negeri 26 Jakarta learn. Recommendations are given to develop modern learning media in the modern era and maximize profits.
