Abstract

The acts of crime and delinquency among children and teenagers continue to increase, such as robbering, mugging, stealing, rape, brawls, bullying and even murder, as well as other acts of violence, as well as their mental health conditions becoming increasingly worrying, which is marked by an increase in suicide attempts and suicides. Therefore, there needs to be cooperation from both of the government and society, by looking at the psychological side of the individual perpetrator, the parenting style of the family, community and society at large so that similar acts do not continue to increase. Observing this phenomenon as a form of concern and seriousness in preventing similar actions, Yasarini (Ardhya Garini Foundation), known as Sekolah Angkasa Lanud Soewondo, collaborated with the Developer Company PT. Taman Malibu Indah and Writers, located in the Mustang Hall Jalan Komodor Muda Adi Sucipto Medan, held activities in the form of Parenting for parents of students and Lectures for Middle and High School students at Sekolah Angkasa Lanud Soewondo, by providing an understanding of character values related to God, by yourself, with each other and the environment. The aim of the activity are the parents and students to know the importance of having good and strong character which can lead students had to become human resources advantage in welcoming Indonesia Gold in 2045.

Abstract

Lumban Pea Timur is one of the villages in Balige District, Toba Samosir Regency, North Sumatra Province. Village development is currently inseparable from the support of information technology, almost every village requires information technology to improve services to the community. The process of conveying information by the village to the resident, namely from the sub-district head to the village head reaches the resident. Processes like this often lead to inaccurate information. All existing regional potentials must be disseminated to show their superiority. Each district has an area called a sub-district and village. The rapid development of the world of communication technology has had a tremendous impact on the pattern of people’s lives. Information systems have made people’s lives dynamic and fast. With the facilities provided, encourages people to take advantage of information and communication technology to assist in their daily activities. The village government of Lumban Pea does not yet have a website address. This has resulted in information owned by the village that cannot be accessed by the wider community, causing this village to be very left behind. In this increasingly advanced technological era, a website-based information system can be implemented in East Lumban Pea village to overcome the above constraints. With the existence of a village information system, the community can directly access the various kinds of information presented. Likewise, village leaders can directly provide or update information related to the village they are fostering. All forms of information regarding population management can be accessed on the village information system page.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship has become one of the main drivers of economic growth and social development in various countries. The ability of individuals to create, develop and manage their own businesses has opened up new opportunities for inclusive economic development. In Indonesia, the entrepreneurship sector is increasingly being considered as a way to reduce unemployment, improve community welfare and encourage innovation. The development of the creative economy cannot be separated from the young generation as a repository of creativity, namely that their creative ideas in entrepreneurship can help the government in its efforts to reduce the unemployment rate in Indonesia [1]. The partner's problem is the lack of knowledge related to entrepreneurship and the low interest in entrepreneurship among students in SMK Negeri 1 Kabanjahe. The solution we offer in this service is to provide knowledge about Entrepreneurship, especially to students who are still in class XI vocational school, with a focus on developing business ideas, business planning and implementation skills. We believe that investing in increasing entrepreneurial understanding and related skills will help create future leaders who are able to innovate, create jobs, and contribute to sustainable economic growth

Abstract

Hypertension sufferers need to be fully aware of the importance of lifestyle modification in controlling high blood pressure as well as the need for comprehensive health education and health promotion programs for hypertension sufferers. This community service activity aims to apply therapeutic communication through health education about lifestyle for hypertension sufferers. Community service activities were carried out by the team on July 22 2023 regarding the implementation of therapeutic communication through lifestyle education for hypertension sufferers at Posbindu in the Kedungsari area, Mojokerto City. This community service activity is in collaboration with cadres and people in charge of the Kedundung Community Health Center, Mojokerto City. Most of the participants' knowledge increased in the good category, 16 participants (67%) and the sufficient category, 33 participants (33%). This community service activity is an implementation of therapeutic communication through education that goes according to plan and the evaluation results show an increase in participants' knowledge after being provided with education. Educational activities implementing therapeutic communication need to be continued and programmed for students as an effort to improve their ability to apply therapeutic communication.

Abstract

Gadgets are modern technology developed with various applications and can provide various media news, social networks, and even entertainment. With the development of technology, gadgets have become commonplace among young people, so the younger generation needs to use gadgets every day. The time of gadget use, duration, and high levels of gadget use at night are one of the factors that influence sleep quality in teenagers. Abstract

Community Service is an activity that must be carried out compulsorily by students in order to fulfill the Tridharma of Higher Education, which includes providing material in the form of health education to the surrounding community. This activity takes the topic of Dysentery, where this topic really needs to be shared with the public considering that currently the death rate caused by Dysentery cases has reached 1.1 million per year globally, with the most cases occurring in developing countries, one of which is Indonesia. The aim of this service activity is to provide knowledge and knowledge about Dysentery starting from prevention and initial treatment. This activity was held on February 3 2024 at Santo Yoseph High School, Medan City with a total of 20 students as participants. It is hoped that the results of this service activity will provide good results, resulting in a clean and healthy lifestyle to reduce the risk of getting dysentery in order to create a healthy and intelligent generation.

Abstract

The campus tax volunteer value chain refers to the contributions and benefits provided by active tax volunteers to help in providing tax information and knowledge and also assist in reporting taxpayers' tax returns. Volunteers give guidance to individuals or groups who need assistance in managing their taxes, such as filling out tax returns or understanding tax rights and obligations. Regional Office of DJP Sumbagut I will give awards and recognition to tax volunteers who have contributed significantly to increasing tax awareness in the community.

Abstract

This service program aims: (1) To provide teachers with an understanding of strengthening reading and writing literacy through picture story-based wall magazines. (2) To implement strengthening reading and writing literacy through picture story-based wall magazines in elementary schools. Solutions to overcome partners' problems include: (1) Carrying out outreach to teachers about reading and writing literacy through the development of picture story-based media (2) Teachers are asked to observe and listen to reading and writing literacy activities through the development of picture story-based media (3) Holding discussion sessions and brainstorming with teachers about what they observe regarding reading and writing literacy activities through developing picture story-based media, and (4) Providing motivation to teachers about the importance of reading and writing literacy activities through developing picture story-based media for elementary school students. The method for implementing activities is carried out through 4 stages, including: (1) Preparation, (2) Implementation, (3) Monitoring and Evaluation, (4) Follow-up. The results of the service program that has been implemented are as follows: (1) The overall success category for teacher understanding is classified as good, meaning that the content of the material as a whole can be understood well by the teacher, so through this PkM activity, literacy is strengthened through the development of illustrated story-based media in elementary schools. It is believed that teachers can teach it well to students in elementary schools. (2) The mechanism of the activity, namely strengthening literacy through the development of picture-based media in elementary schools, can be concluded that the teachers of SDN Number 066650 can teach all subjects wisely using the development of picture-story-based media. In this way, teachers at SDN Number 066650 have broadly been able to actualize strengthening reading and writing literacy through picture story-based wall magazines at SDN Number 066650.

Abstract

Perkembangan zaman menuntut orang tua agar anak-anaknya mendapatkan pendidikan yang lebih baik. Orang tua dituntut mampu memberikan pendidikan yang layak dari usia dini sampai jenjang perguruan tinggi PG Paud lae lak lak yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Sidikalang, Kabupaten Dairi. PG Paud ini didirikan pada tahun 2010 dibawah naungan Gereja GKPPD Lae Lak Lak. Tujuan berdirinya PG Paud ini adalah untuk memfasilitasi anak-anak dini dalam perkembangan dan pertumbuhan baik aspek fisik, psikis dan sosial. Kondisi PG Paud Lae Lak Lak saat ini masih kurang perhatian dari segi fasilitas yang minim, taman bermain yang sederhana dan guru yang terbatas. Siswa PG Paud belum pernah melakukan kegiatan khusus dalam memperhatikan keterampilan anak. Berdasarkan evaluasi terhadap siswa bahwa keterampilan berkembang sangat baik (BSB) dari setiap indikator penilaian sebesar 32,85%. Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH) sebesar 34,28% , Mulai Berkembang (MB) sebesar 18,57%, Belum Berkembang (BB) sebesar 15%.

Abstract

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a degenerative disease of the joints affected by the cartilage, joint lining, and bones which can cause joint pain and stiffness. OA can be caused by risk factors, namely age (aging process), gender, genetics, body weight, joint injury, and exercise. Disease development is usually slow but can ultimately cause joint failure with pain and disability. Osteoarthritis is ranked 12th in all diseases in the world with a high percentage of the population suffering from OA, namely 2.3% -11.3%. Method of implementing the activity was carried out on November 10 2023 in Bunulrejo Village, Malang City. The concept used in this activity is community-based participation. The target is all participants in the posyandu cadre meeting in Bunulrejo sub-district, 30 participants in promotional efforts in the form of physiotherapy education in the form of health promotion using leaflets as promotional media. This activity was carried out by giving a pre-test and post-test with questions given to participants at the posyandu cadre meeting in Bunulrejo sub-district. Objective counseling carried out to educate cadre meeting participants so that they can care about themselves regarding knee osteoarthritis and can carry out the exercises given during the counseling. Results showed an increase in understanding among cadre meeting participants regarding osteoarthritis. Conclusion Based on the outreach activities carried out in Bunulrejo Village on November 10 2023, it can be concluded that the event ran smoothly and was well realized. It is hoped that all of these outreach activities can increase the knowledge of the participants in the posyandu cadre meeting in Bunulrejo sub-district.
