Abstract

Improving educational quality is a strategic priority for developing high-quality human resources, particularly through tahfizh pesantren that serve as centers for forming a Qur’anic generation with noble character and readiness for da‘wah. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of community-based quality management in education at PPTQ Bale Dakwah An Nabawy. The research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis is conducted interactively through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Findings reveal that quality improvement at PPTQ Bale Dakwah An Nabawy is achieved through: (1) clear formulation of tahfizh-da‘wah vision and mission, (2) continuous quality management based on SWOT analysis, (3) active community involvement as partners in da‘wah and student guidance, and (4) periodic evaluation of Qur’anic memorization, prophetic morals, and da‘wah competencies. This model produces Qur’an memorizers with strong character, independence, and readiness to serve the community.

Abstract

Qur’anic exegesis occupies a strategic position in the development of Islamic scholarship, as it functions to explain the meanings and messages of divine revelation in accordance with the context of the Muslim community. Along with the development of time, Muslim scholars have formulated various methods of interpretation, among which the ijm?l? and muq?ran methods represent two prominent approaches with distinct characteristics and orientations. This study aims to examine comprehensively the characteristics, procedures, strengths, and limitations of the ijm?l? and muq?ran methods of Qur’anic interpretation, as well as their relevance in contemporary Qur’anic studies. The research employs a qualitative approach through library research, analyzing classical and modern exegetical works alongside methodological studies of tafs?r and ?ad?th commentary. The findings indicate that tafs?r ijm?l? is a global, concise, and communicative interpretive method, making it particularly effective for da‘wah and Islamic education among the general public. However, this method is limited in terms of contextual and comparative analysis. In contrast, tafs?r muq?ran emphasizes comparative analysis between similar Qur’anic verses, between verses and relevant ?ad?ths, and among the interpretations of different exegetes, thereby producing a deeper, more critical, and objective understanding, although it requires a higher level of scholarly competence. The application of the muq?ran method in interpreting Qur’an 2:228 concerning the meaning of qur?’ demonstrates divergent opinions among classical legal schools and highlights the tendency of contemporary scholars to prioritize the principles of facilitation (tays?r) and the removal of hardship (raf‘ al-?araj). This study concludes that the ijm?l? and muq?ran methods should not be viewed as dichotomous but rather as complementary approaches. Their integration can generate a comprehensive, contextual, and relevant understanding of the Qur’an that responds to the needs of Muslims in the modern era.

Abstract

Learning at the Elementary School (SD) level plays a very significant role as an initial foundation in formal education. Rapid developments in aspects of information and communication technology in the era of global progress have a significant impact on the achievement of learning objectives. One of the main targets of education is to optimize learning achievement. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of digital-based learning platforms on student learning achievement in elementary schools. In this modern era, information and communication technology brings important transformations in the world of education. Digital learning media, such as interactive applications and educational videos, have the potential to encourage student enthusiasm and participation in learning. Qualitative research uses a literature study method, which allows researchers to obtain information from various related literature. This study found that digital learning media can play a role in encouraging student achievement by improving the quality of learning and facilitating skills to understand concepts better. However, challenges such as gaps in technology access and lack of digital skills need to be addressed to maximize the effectiveness of using this media. This study suggests that educators and policy makers consider the use of digital media in the elementary education curriculum to improve the overall quality of learning.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to various aspects of education, including Islamic education. The transformation of Islamic education in the digital era is crucial to ensure that learning methods remain relevant, interactive, and able to accommodate the needs of students who are increasingly accustomed to technology. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the transformation of Islamic education through a literature study approach. The research method was carried out by collecting and reviewing various scientific journals, educational reports, and articles related to digital-based Islamic learning innovations, then analyzing them descriptively to identify key factors. The analysis results indicate several factors that play a significant role in the transformation of Islamic education, namely technological advances, the use of digital media, institutional dynamics, changes in teacher roles, the readiness of educators, the integration of Islamic values, and infrastructure and access to technology. Each factor contributes to the effectiveness of digital learning implementation, but adaptive and contextual implementation is key to success. The transformation of Islamic education in the digital era requires the implementation of a comprehensive strategy, considering teacher readiness, curriculum quality, technological support, and active student involvement to maintain Islamic values. These findings can serve as a reference for Islamic educational institutions in designing adaptive and innovative learning policies and practices in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the influence of price, sales promotion, and brand image on the purchasing decision of H&M products. The research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, where questionnaires were distributed to consumers who had purchased H&M products in Västerås. The analysis includes descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. The results show that price, sales promotion, and brand image significantly affect the purchasing decision of H&M products. Setting the right price can strengthen consumers' positive perception of product quality and increase purchasing decisions. Effective sales promotions can attract consumer attention and expand market share, while a strong brand image is important for building consumer loyalty and trust. The F-test indicates that these three variables jointly have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, the t-test reveals that price, sales promotion, and brand image individually have a positive impact on purchasing decisions. Based on these findings, it is expected that the company can focus more on competitive pricing strategies, attractive promotions, and strengthening brand image to improve purchasing decisions for H&M products.

Abstract

Indonesian is a language that emerged from the efforts of our ancestors in the past. This language is recognized as the official language by the Indonesian nation, and today we still follow the General Guidelines for Indonesian Spelling (PUEBI). However, in practice, there are still mistakes in the use of Indonesian, especially in the placement of letters on banners, signage, and pamphlets around us. This article is written to identify spelling errors found on banners, signage, and pamphlets that can be found along the streets around us. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques through observation and documentation. The findings of this study show the existence of spelling mistakes on banners, signage, and pamphlets, which include letter writing, word writing, and the use of punctuation marks.

Abstract

Learning strategy is an activity plan that uses methods and utilizes various resources in a learning process. Learning strategy is very important because the strategy is designed to achieve a certain goal. In delivering learning content, managing strategies and making decisions about delivering strategies must require the right strategy, in order to form a learning model that is in accordance with the conditions and circumstances of the school environment so that the methods, techniques and tactics that will be used can be in accordance with the procedures that we have designed at the beginning. This study is a literature review with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the study show that direct learning strategies are teacher-centered learning (teacher centered) therefore this learning implies direct interaction between teachers and students. Direct learning strategies are learning that is directly directed by teachers through specific tasks that must be completed by students under the direct supervision of teachers through the learning phase facilitated by the teacher.

Abstract

Islamic banking in Indonesia has experienced rapid development since its introduction in the 1990s, contributing to the creation of a more inclusive and Islamic financial system. This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic banking in the development of the Islamic economy in Indonesia, with a focus on asset growth, adoption of digital technology, and its contribution to the micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) sector. Data shows that Islamic banking has experienced an average asset growth of 15-20% per year, with total assets reaching more than IDR 700 trillion by the end of 2023. In addition, digital innovations such as application-based banking services have increased the accessibility and efficiency of financial services for the community. Although Islamic banking faces challenges, such as a lack of human resources and fierce competition with conventional banks, this sector has great potential to support sustainable economic development and achieve the sustainable development goals (SDGs). This study is expected to provide new insights and strategic recommendations for the further development of Islamic banking and the Islamic economy in Indonesia, as well as increase public literacy regarding banking.

Abstract

The Gayo Horse Racing tradition, which originated around 1850 on the shores of Lake Laut Tawar, initially functioned as post-harvest entertainment and a symbol of social status for the Gayo community in Central Aceh. This study aims to analyze the transformation of this tradition in the era of Takengon tourism, where annual events held in August and February have become festivals attracting both national and international tourists. Using a qualitative ethnographic approach, data were collected through participant observation during the 2025 festival and in-depth interviews with informants. The main findings indicate a transformation from a communal ritual into a tourism commodity: a modern oval track at Gelenggang Musara Alun has been established, child jockeys riding without saddles are still maintained, while Australian–Gayo crossbred horses dominate due to their speed, resulting in positive economic impacts such as an increase in traders’ income of up to 300% during the event. The implications of this study include the preservation of cultural identity through sustainable tourism regulations, contributions to ethnographic tourism studies in Indonesia, and policy recommendations to minimize negative impacts such as gambling.

Abstract

This study provides an in-depth understanding of the affective dimension of da’wah communication in the digital era. Against the backdrop of technological development, da’wah is no longer confined to conventional methods but has evolved into a more interactive and responsive multi-directional form of communication. Preachers (da’i) now adopt various strategies to enhance the effectiveness of da’wah in the digital sphere. The findings highlight the affective aspects of da’wah communication through a digital platform, namely YouTube. This study takes da’wah content by Ustadz Abdul Somad (UAS) as a sample, as it represents a successful example of reaching audiences through digital channels. Several strategies for enhancing da’wah in the digital era are identified, including mastering various digital platforms, developing storytelling skills, understanding audience online trends and habits, collaborating with digital content creators, implementing interactive technologies, optimizing searchability and online visibility, and maintaining consistent branding and messaging. In conclusion, the utilization of digital technology can create da’wah content that is more dynamic, relevant, and easily accessible to audiences increasingly connected through technology. Thus, this study offers practical guidance for preachers and researchers to enhance the affective impact of da’wah in the digital era, making da’wah more effective and relevant in responding to the dynamics of contemporary communication technology developments.
