Abstract

Unemployment is a labor problem that has now reached a fairly concerning condition. The problem of employment is undeniably one of the main problems faced in development. Wages are also the main factor that influences labor absorption. An increase in wage levels will increase the company's production costs which will ultimately lead to an increase in prices. The objectives of this study are: (1) To analyze the effect of private investment on labor absorption in North Maluku Province; (2) To analyze the effect of the provincial minimum wage (UMP) on labor absorption in North Maluku Province; (3) To analyze the effect of private investment on the open unemployment rate in North Maluku Province; (4) To analyze the effect of the Provincial Minimum Wage on the open unemployment rate in North Maluku Province; and (5) To analyze the effect of labor absorption on reducing the open unemployment rate in North Maluku Province. The analysis model used in this study is path analysis. The results of the study indicate that the provincial minimum wage (UMP) partially has a significant effect on labor absorption and the open unemployment rate in North Maluku Province. Meanwhile, private investment has an effect on employment opportunities but cannot reduce the unemployment rate. Then, opportunity has a significant influence and is negatively correlated with the open unemployment rate in North Maluku Province.

Abstract

A unique and interesting creative process using banana blossom sap as a medium. Banana flower sap has specific characteristics compared to other synthetic colors. Banana flower sap tends to display typical milky white, gray, light brown, yellowish-green, red and dark brown colors. Painting using banana blossoms starts from picking the banana blossom. Exploration of the technique of cutting the stem of the banana flower until the sap oozes out and drips onto the canvas. Since then I have been practicing spontaneously using banana sap, involving movements of my fingers, pressing the banana flower gently, medium and hard. The effect of the pressure of the banana flower sap produces natural colors, according to the intensity of the movement of the fingers on the canvas. The method used is carried out spontaneously, following the stages of the art creation process (E4): Existence, Exploration, Experimentation and Evaluation. Realization (E4) represents the existence of my creative process. Utilization of fine art elements such as light, point, line, space, plane, color, texture and composition. The resulting works of art include the following titles: Banana Sap Color 1, Banana Sap Color 2, Banana Sap Color 3, and so on. The use of banana blossom sap is driven by the need to express the soul in order to produce new works of art of high quality and have high aesthetic values

Abstract

Advances in network technology are increasingly developing. Due to the human need for fast, easy and comfortable access to technology. So there is competition between network device manufacturers to innovate in creating new, compact technology, especially after the emergence of AI technology which has been trying to be embedded in various devices recently. Mash technology is nothing new in the networking world. However, problems that often occur with Mesh devices include compli-cated installation and requiring different types of devices and some-times with different brands there is quite noticeable latency. Whole Home Mash (WHM) is a technology made by TP-LINK which is embed-ded in DECO series devices which have various contemporary features such as WiFi 6, OFDMA and MU-MIMO which can facilitate device connections in accessing the internet. What is focused on in this re-search is the WiFi or wireless-based Mesh feature which makes this device very easy to install and the settings are supported by an App that can be accessed from the user's cellphone. Based on the Quality of Service (QoS) assessment criteria which consist of: Throughput, Delay, Jitter and Packet Loss, each of which gets a score of 4 in the index which means it is in the very good category. The results show that in 4 times with different conditions and distances it met criteria 4 (very good) in Throughput, Delay, Jitter but experienced a decrease in Pack-et Loss with the "moderate" criteria for data sizes above 400 MB. In short, this device meets index 4 of the four criteria above and can be a reference in modeling a WiFi-based network in the future.

Abstract

Tomohon City is city in the province of North Sulawesi, Indonesia, which is enclave from Regency Minahasa with amount sufficient school? many . Some schools located on the edge road main , where vehicles passing by with speed very dangerous height for children the school that will cross way to go or when going home from school. Children are often careless and spontaneous, so they have the potential to become victims of traffic accidents. Evaluation of the implementation of the School Safe Zone (ZoSS) needs to be carried out, so that the behavior of pedestrians and drop-off behavior can be known, whether they have behaved safely or not. Then we can draw conclusions whether the School Safe Zone has been effective in its implementation or not. SD Negeri 2 Tomohon and SD Lentera Harapan Tomohon are located on the edge of the main road so they were chosen as research locations because in front of these two schools there is a School Safe Zone (ZoSS) that needs to be evaluated. These two School Safe Zones will be evaluated based on the Decree of the Director General of Land Transportation Number 3582 / AJ.403 / DRDJ / 20018. The research was conducted for 3 days at each location, and was carried out directly including data on the completeness of School Safe Zone (ZoSS) facilities, data on pedestrian behavior and data on drop-off behavior. Speed data and volume data were taken based on references to the 2023 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI) which will then be processed to obtain the level of service of the road sections studied. From this study, the data on pedestrian and usher behavior in both research locations can be stated as “not yet safe” with Zcount > Ztable. Based on the results of the service level analysis for the Jl. Sam Ratulangi section (SD Negeri 2 Tomohon), the capacity was obtained 3376 smp/hour, the peak hour volume ranged from 374 smp/hour – 788 smp/hour with a service level of service level B during peak hours. While for the Jl. Makmur section (SD Lentera Harapan Tomohon), the capacity was obtained 3440 smp/hour, the peak hour volume ranged from 705 smp/hour – 985 smp/hour with a service level C during peak hours. Therefore, it is necessary for schools to pay attention to educate students about safety in crossing the road, and for the government, especially the Tomohon city transportation agency, to socialize the intent and purpose of implementing the School Safe Zone (ZoSS) for other road users in order to create comfort and safety for road users

Abstract

Epistemology as a branch of philosophy determines the character of knowledge, and even determines which truths are considered worthy of acceptance, and which ones are worthy of rejection. Therefore, there are a number of questions that are usually asked to examine issues in epistemology, namely what is knowledge, what is the source and basis of knowledge? Is this knowledge definitive truth or just conjecture? In an era of globalization and rapid information development, understanding the nature of knowledge and how we obtain it is becoming increasingly important. Epistemology, which is the study of knowledge, has undergone significant transformation in recent decades. This paper explores the evolution of epistemological thought, focusing on contemporary approaches such as feminist epistemology, social, postmodernism, and global perspectives on knowledge. The qualitative research method used in writing this article is literature study. By comparing old views with new ones, this paper describes how these new views
