Abstract

This study examines the impact of Gina Raimondo's strategic policies in the maritime economy in the United States (US) and their relevance to the development of the maritime sector in Indonesia. Raimondo, as US Secretary of Commerce, has introduced policies that strengthen port infrastructure, supply chain digitalization, and maritime technology investment. These policies have succeeded in increasing the competitiveness of the US maritime economy. Their relevance to Indonesia lies in the potential for increasing logistics efficiency, technology integration, and developing maritime policies that support economic growth. By learning from US strategies, Indonesia can strengthen port infrastructure and improve maritime regulations to support sustainable maritime economic growth. Abstract

This study explores the relationship between fatigue, stress, and job satisfaction among Air Traffic Controllers (ATCs). ATCs often experience physical and mental fatigue due to irregular work schedules, frequent shift changes, and high workload. Fatigue is defined as a state of exhaustion that affects alertness and decision-making abilities, increasing the risk of errors. Factors such as lack of sleep, time pressure, and the need to coordinate with multiple parties exacerbate stress. The research also shows that job satisfaction, which is crucial for psychological well-being, is influenced by levels of fatigue and stress. Low job satisfaction leads to burnout and reduced motivation, negatively impacting air traffic management. However, factors such as adequate rest, a supportive work environment, and fair compensation enhance job satisfaction. A quantitative research method was used, employing tools like the Fatigue Assessment Scale (FAS), Samn-Perelli 7-Point Scale, and Karolinska Sleepiness Scale. The results indicate that workload and stress are the main contributors to fatigue, with stress peaking during heavy air traffic periods. ATCs with higher job satisfaction demonstrated better stress-coping mechanisms. Recommendations include fatigue risk management programs, improved shift planning, adequate rest facilities, and psychological support. This study provides insights into the importance of mitigating fatigue and stress to enhance job satisfaction and operational safety.

This study used a sampling method, namely purposive Accidental Sampling, with a total of 150 respondents (Hair et al, 2014). The analysis technique in the study was the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) model with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach, and using SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results of the study showed that the tourist satisfaction variable had a significant effect on tourist loyalty (p value Sig = 0.000). The service quality variable had a significant effect on tourist satisfaction (p value Sig = 0.000). The service quality variable had a significant effect on tourist loyalty (p value Sig = 0.000). The tourist satisfaction variable can mediate the effect of service quality on tourist loyalty (p value Sig = 0.000).

Abstract

The music performance hall is a multifunctional facility designed to present various types of musical performances. The architectural structure not only pays attention to aesthetic aspects, but also optimal acoustic functionality. The choice of materials and space design was carried out carefully to minimize sound interference and ensure clear sound quality throughout the auditorium. In modern design, music performance halls often adopt flexible architectural elements, allowing for adjustments to the layout for different types of events, from large-scale performances to intimate performances with a limited audience. Apart from that, supporting facilities such as artist dressing rooms and spacious rehearsal rooms are very important to support the smooth running of the performance. State-of-the-art lighting and stage technology are also an integral part of the design, providing an immersive visual experience for the audience. With a combination of aesthetic architecture, state-of-the-art sound technology and complete facilities, the music performance hall acts as a strategic place to support the development of musical arts and provide an immersive experience for every visitor.

Abstract

Tourism involves individual or group travel to enjoy the beauty of an object or tourist attraction. The rapid development of tourism in Wakatobi Regency has encouraged me to highlight one of the destinations, namely Lake Sombano, which is famous for its natural and well-maintained environmental sustainability. Lake Sombano Tourism is located near Sombano Village, Kaledupa District, Wakatobi Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, which is not far from residential areas. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method by collecting, analyzing primary and secondary data related to the title, literature studies, comparative studies and observations. The circulation pattern that will be used in the area is a linear and radial circulation pattern in the form of a series of spaces, branching, then also spreading from one point to form aesthetics in the area and also for the comfort of road users of visitors. In planning the Lake Sombano Tourism Object, the design principle used is the ecological concept in landscape design that is friendly to the surrounding environment and uses materials in accordance with the ecological concept as the main material, and this is a solution to the design of the Lake Sombno Tourism Object on Keledupa Island, Wakatobi Regenc.

Abstract

The rapid development of tourism in Morowali Regency has made me raise one of the tourist attractions in Morowali Regency, namely the Pasir Panjang Beach tourism which has a tourist attraction whose beautiful beach is still very well preserved. This tourist area is located in Pu'ungkeu Village, Bungku Pesisir District, Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi, which is not far from residential areas. The purpose of this planning is to design a suitable site so that it can accommodate tourist activities in the tourist area, to plan facilities and infrastructure that can accommodate tourism activities, to apply the principles of eco resort architectural design in designing areas and buildings in the Pasir Panjang beach tourist area. The research method used is Descriptive Qualitative with an approach in the form of primary data, namely conducting direct observations at the research location, secondary data, namely data obtained from libraries in the form of textbooks, journals, documentation, research institution data, and agency data, as well as data collection techniques which then analyze the data. The results of the study indicate that the Pasir Panjang Beach Tourism Area needs to be reviewed in developing supporting facilities for visitors to meet the needs and comfort of traveling, using the principles of eco resort architectural design where the architectural design applies a design in the form of a building that has a reciprocal relationship with nature. so that it can produce a design that provides a prosperous living environment by presenting nature into the building.
