Abstract

Abstract. This research is a class action research that consisted of two cycles. The aim of this research is to know the planning, the process and the outcome of the song to improve the vocabulary of the students XII MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 8 Makassar. The research data are quantitative and qualitative. The quantitative data from the tests in the first and second cycle and the qualitative data were collected from the observations and analyzed by the percentage technique. The results showed that the vocabulary proficiency was 69.5% in the first cycle and 85.5% in the second cycle and had reached the minimum completeness criteria value at SMA Negeri 8 Makassar with an average value of 75%. This means that the lied learning media for German vocabulary can improve the students XII MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 8 Makassar. Keywords: Song media, Vocabulary, German Language

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of speaking skills of class X IBB SMAN 5 Tana Toraja students through the application of the Gruppenarbeit method. the type of research used is classroom action research.  This research consisted of two cycles, each cycle consisting of the planning stage, implementation stage, observation stage, and reflection stage. research subjects were students of class X IBB SMAN 5 Tana Toraja, as many as 34 students.  the results of data analysis showed that the German speaking skill with the score obtained by the students in the first cycle was 56% and the second cycle 80%. From the data from this research, it can be concluded that the use of the Gruppenarbeit method can improve the German speaking skills of class X IBB SMAN 5 Tana Toraja students. Keywords: Classroom Action Research, Speaking Skills, Gruppenarbeit Method.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to (1) describe the results of learning to write explanatory texts using expository strategies in the control class; (2) describe the results of learning to write explanatory texts using the 3M strategy in the experimental class; and (3) testing the effectiveness of the 3M strategy in writing explanatory texts. This type of research is experimental research. The research design used was pretest-posttest control grub design. The data in this study are student learning outcomes data. The research instrument consisted of research guidelines for writing explanatory texts. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, pretest, treatment and posttest. Data analysis techniques used in analyzing the data are descriptive analysis and inferential analysis.  The results of the study reveal student learning outcomes in the control class using expository strategies, student learning outcomes in the experimental class using the 3M strategy, and the effectiveness of the 3M strategy in learning to write explanatory texts. (1) In the control class, the results obtained by students on the pretest (pretest) were categorized as less effective. Only one student scored in the effective category and five students scored in the moderately effective category out of a total of 26 students, the average score on this test was 62.15. Meanwhile, the results of the final test (posttest) are still categorized as less effective. Only one student scored in the effective category and six students in the moderately effective category out of a total of 26 students, with an average score of 65.59. (2) In the Experiment class, the results obtained by students in the initial test (pretest) were categorized as less effective. Only one student scored in the effective category and five students scored in the moderately effective category out of a total of 26 students, the average score on this test is 63.03. Meanwhile, the results of the final test (posttest) after the 3M strategy was implemented were categorized as quite effective. Of the 26 students who took part, as many as 24 students were categorized as quite effective, while 2 students were categorized as less effective. Keywords: Explanatory Texts, 3M Strategy, Writing Skill

Abstract

Abstract.This research is an approach to the text in the novel Rain in June using Julia Kristeva's intertextual theory. The purpose of this study is to describe the opposition in the novel, which leads to traditional opposition and belief opposition. Opposition according to Julia is something that cannot be exchanged and absolutely between two competitive groups, never harmonious, never complementary, and never able to be reconciled. Through the novel Hujan Bulan Juni, Sapardi Djoko Damono, the author examines and describes how a sense of ethnic ownership can create unfriendliness between other tribes, which can be observed through the traditional opposition in the study of this novel. The results of this study are as follows: the opposition between the traditions of the Menado and Javanese tribes makes us aware that each tribe has its own uniqueness and strengths; the things that distinguish us do not necessarily become divisions within a country. The opposition to belief in this novel shows that religious people still often discriminate against each other. Basically, religion makes us as human beings who are guided by and have empathy for fellow human beings, not the other way around. The characters in this novel often question a person's religion when it is felt that he is not in line with his beliefs. The oppositions in this novel are still numerous and often occur in real life.Keywords: Opposition, Culture, Belief

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to find out how the Assuro Maca or Mabbaca Baca tradition is carried out by the Bugis-Makassar tribe located in the Lau area, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi which is often considered by outsiders as idolatrous because of its form of praying for the dead.  has been carried out by the Bugis-Makassar Tribe community which has been carried out for generations as an expression of gratitude for being reunited with the holy month of Ramadan and also aims to pray for the ancestors who have died.  several ways such as at the stage of Observation, Interview, Qualitative data collection, Data Analysis to Data Presentation by Researchers which of course is accompanied by several other journal references related to this research. Keywords: Tradition, Bugis-Makassar, Mabbaca-baca

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Implementasi Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia berbasis kurikulum 2013 di SMA Negeri 1 Campalagian. Jenis penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara sebagai data pendukung. Hasil observasi Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) guru menggunakan Surat Edaran Nomor 14 Tahun 2019 Tentang Penyederhanaan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran sebagai pedoman dalam pengembangan RPP.  Dari hasil observasi implementasi RPP pada bagian pendahuluan masih terdapat guru yang tidak melakukan sesuai dengan RPP yang dibuat. Pada kegiatan inti guru mengunakan pendekatan saintifik namun tidak terlaksana secara optimal karna masih terlalu banyak menjelaskan dalam proses pembelajaran. Pada bagian penutup masih terdapat guru yang tidak mengimplementasikan dengan keseluruhan sesuai dengan RPP yang dibuat. Pada aspek penilaian pembelajaran yang terdapat pada RPP guru memuat penilaian otentik yaitu penilaian aspek sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Namun, dari hasil observsi dokumen yang guru tidak melakukan penialain proyek, penilaian produk dan hanya melakukan penialain portofolio dan penilaian sikap. Tapi, pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran berlangsung secara aktif dan saling memberikan umpan balik antara guru dan siswa.Kata Kunci: RPP, Bahasa Indonesia, Kurikulum 2013

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to obtain data on the relationship between interest in learning and writing skills in German class XI MAN 1 Makassar City. The variables in this study were students' interest in learning (X) with students' German writing skills (Y). The population in this study were students of class XI MIA MAN 1 Makassar with a total class of 7 classes and a total of 279 students, and the sample in this study was conducted randomly or Random Sampling, from randomly selected class XI MIA 1 MAN 1 Makassar totaling 39 students. The data from this study were obtained from a learning interest test with a German writing skill test. Based on the results of the Product Moment Correlation data analysis shows that r count is greater than r table (0,347 > 0,316). The results of data analysis showed that there was a significant positive relationship between interest in learning and writing skills in German in class XI MAN 1 MAKASSAR. Keywords: Interest in Learning, Writing Skills, German Language

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the Metaverse Augmented Reality media on the mastery of German vocabulary in class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Pangkep. This research is a quasi-experimental with a pre and post-test control group design. The sample for this research consisted of class XI MIPA 5 students as the experimental class (24 students) and class XI MIPA 4 students (24 students) as the control class, selected using simple random sampling. Data were analyzed using t-test. The results of data analysis using the independent sample t-test showed a tcount value of 5.072 and a ttable value of 2.012 with a significance level of 0.05 and a df of 46. Therefore, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the use of the Metaverse Augmented Reality media was considered effective on the mastery of German vocabulary for class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Pangkep. Keywords: Media, Metaverse Augmented Reality, Vocabulary Mastery

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perubahan fungsi yang terjadi pada salah satu tradisi yang ada di kebudayaan rumpun Makassar. Tradisi yang dimaksud ialah Angngaru’ salah satu tradisi yang berakar pada kontrak politik antara hamba dan tuannya yang kemudian dikembangkan kedalam bentuk seni pertunjukan populer. Nilai yang ada di dalam tradisi Angngaru’ sendiri dikembangkan tidak lagi dibatasi pada bentuk aslinya yakni sumpah setia namun terus dikembangkan untuk memenuhi persyaratan pementasan. Gerakan serta orang yang melakukan Ngaru’ sudah tidak lagi ikut pada bentuk aslinya dengan tujuan mempermudah pelaku seni untuk mempelajari dan mementaskannya. Artikel ini akan mendeskripsikan apa saja bentuk bentuk perubahan yang ada di dalam tradisi ini dengan membahas sejarah awal lahirnya tradisi ini, jenis jenis pengembangan tradisi Angngaru’, pelaku tradisi Angngaru’, serta fungsi tradisi ini di zaman modern.  Kata Kunci: Angngaru’, Tumanunrung, Pertunjukan, Tradisi, Kontrak Politik.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine how student's perception of the role of campus teaching program in the competence of the teaching profession (a research study on students of the Makassar State University PBSI study program). This research is a quantitative research. The research data are students' perceptions of the role of campus teaching programs. The research subjects were students of the PBSI study program who had attended the campus teaching program batches 1 – 3. The data collection technique was in the form of a survey using a questionnaire. Then, the analysis techniques used descriptive quantitative data analysis. The results showed that: (1) as 78 students' or 90% perceive the role of campus teaching program in pedagogic competence as being in the “high” category; (2) as 68 students' or 78% perceive the role of campus teaching program in personality competence as being in the “high” category; (3) as 75 students' or 86% perceive the role of campus teaching program in pedagogic competence as being in the “high” category; (4) as 70 students' or 80% perceive the role of campus teaching program in pedagogic competence as being in the “high” category.Keywords: Perception, campus teaching, teacher competence
