Abstract

This study is grounded in stakeholder theory and sustainability theory, which assert that corporate sustainability is determined by an organization’s ability to effectively manage financial strategies, risk, and integrated synergy across organizational units. Although prior literature has examined the role of financial strategy and risk management in influencing corporate performance, studies that simultaneously investigate the combined effects of these variables while incorporating synergy mechanisms as a mediating factor in corporate sustainability remain limited. Addressing this research gap, the present study aims to analyze the influence of financial strategy and risk management on corporate sustainability with synergy mechanisms serving as a mediator. The findings indicate that both financial strategy and risk management have a positive and significant effect on corporate sustainability and play a critical role in strengthening organizational synergy mechanisms. Furthermore, synergy mechanisms are shown to contribute positively and significantly to corporate sustainability and effectively mediate the relationships between financial strategy and corporate sustainability, as well as between risk management and corporate sustainability. These findings underscore the importance of an integrated and collaborative strategic approach in promoting long-term corporate sustainability.

Abstract

Employee performance is a crucial factor that determines organizational effectiveness and competitiveness. Organizations increasingly rely on effective leadership and clear organizational goals to improve employee productivity and work outcomes. This study aims to examine the effect of transformational leadership and goal clarity on employee performance in Indonesia. The research adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected from 150 employees working in various organizations in Indonesia through a structured questionnaire measured using a five-point Likert scale. The data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 25, employing descriptive statistics, validity and reliability testing, and multiple regression analysis. The results indicate that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, suggesting that leaders who inspire, motivate, and provide a clear vision contribute to improved employee productivity and engagement. In addition, goal clarity also shows a significant positive effect on employee performance, indicating that employees perform better when organizational goals and expectations are clearly communicated. Furthermore, the simultaneous analysis reveals that transformational leadership and goal clarity together significantly influence employee performance, with a coefficient of determination of 50.7%, indicating that these variables substantially contribute to explaining employee performance. The findings highlight the importance of effective leadership practices and clear goal-setting in enhancing employee outcomes. This study contributes to the literature on organizational behavior and human resource management by providing empirical evidence from the Indonesian context and offers practical implications for managers seeking to improve employee performance through leadership development and clear communication of organizational goals.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of digital competence and market orientation on marketing performance in Indonesia. In the era of rapid digital transformation, organizations are required to adapt their marketing strategies by utilizing digital technologies while maintaining a strong understanding of market dynamics. Digital competence enables organizations to effectively use digital platforms, analyze market data, and communicate with customers more efficiently, while market orientation emphasizes understanding customer needs, monitoring competitors, and responding to market changes. This research adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 250 respondents engaged in marketing activities across various organizations in Indonesia. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 25, including descriptive statistics, validity and reliability testing, and multiple linear regression analysis to test the proposed hypotheses. The results indicate that digital competence has a positive and significant effect on marketing performance, and market orientation also shows a positive and significant influence on marketing performance. Simultaneous analysis further demonstrates that both variables significantly affect marketing performance with a coefficient of determination (R² = 0.549), indicating that 54.9% of the variation in marketing performance can be explained by digital competence and market orientation. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening digital capabilities and maintaining a strong market-oriented approach to improve marketing effectiveness. This study contributes to the marketing literature by providing empirical evidence on the role of digital competence and market orientation in enhancing marketing performance in Indonesia, and practically suggests that organizations should invest in developing digital skills while continuously monitoring market dynamics to remain competitive in the digital business environment.

Abstract

The transformation of workplace structures in the digital era has accelerated the adoption of hybrid and flexible work arrangements across organizations worldwide. This study aims to systematically review existing research on hybrid and flexible work models by identifying the driving factors, implementation mechanisms, and organizational impacts associated with these work systems. The research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach using the PRISMA 2020 framework to ensure a transparent and structured review process. The data were collected from the Scopus database, and a total of 22 peer-reviewed articles were selected through stages of identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and inclusion. The findings indicate that the adoption of hybrid and flexible work arrangements is primarily driven by technological advancement, organizational digital transformation, employee demand for work–life balance, and external environmental pressures such as the COVID-19 pandemic. In terms of implementation mechanisms, organizations rely heavily on digital collaboration technologies, adaptive leadership practices, trust-based management systems, and supportive organizational cultures to sustain hybrid work environments. The review also reveals several organizational impacts, including increased employee productivity, improved job satisfaction, enhanced organizational resilience, and greater talent retention. However, challenges such as communication barriers, employee isolation, and difficulties in performance monitoring remain important issues that organizations must address.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a crucial strategy for improving the competitiveness and sustainability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in developing countries where small businesses play a dominant role in economic growth and employment generation. This study aims to systematically review the existing literature on digital transformation in MSMEs, with a focus on identifying the key drivers, barriers, and business performance implications associated with digital adoption. The study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach based on the PRISMA 2020 framework to ensure a transparent and rigorous process in selecting and analyzing relevant studies. A total of 18 academic articles obtained from the Google Scholar database were analyzed to synthesize current research trends and findings related to digital transformation in MSMEs in developing countries. The results reveal that the primary drivers of digital transformation include technological advancement, increasing market competition, government support programs, and organizational readiness. At the same time, several barriers hinder the digitalization process among MSMEs, including limited financial resources, lack of digital skills, inadequate technological infrastructure, and resistance to organizational change. Despite these challenges, the reviewed studies consistently indicate that digital transformation contributes positively to MSME performance by improving operational efficiency, expanding market access, enhancing customer engagement, and strengthening business resilience in uncertain economic environments. The findings of this study highlight the importance of supportive policies, digital literacy development, and improved technological infrastructure to accelerate digital adoption among MSMEs in developing countries. This study contributes to the existing literature by providing a comprehensive synthesis of research findings and offering insights for policymakers, researchers, and practitioners seeking to promote sustainable digital transformation in small business sectors.
