Abstract

Many series of skincare products are offered and sold offline and online. The large number of products that are popping up makes competition in the skincare product market even tighter. So there are many ways that sellers/shops use e-commerce such as Shopee to attract consumers to buy products, such as Whitelab. Apart from hoping for positive reviews, Whitelab also uses Brand Ambassadors for each product. The sampling technique in this research is nonprobability sampling. The sampling technique used in this research is the Accidental Sampling Technique. using SPSS version 26. Based on the results of this research, it is known that Online Customer Reviews do not have a significant influence on Purchasing Decisions, and Brand Ambassadors have a significant influence on Purchasing Decisions. Apart from that, simultaneously (F Test) it is known that Online Customer Reviews and Brand Ambassadors simultaneously or together have a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions. The Adjusted R value for the Determinant Coefficient is 0.248 or 24.8%, while the remaining 75.2% is influenced by other variables that are not in this research such as: price, brand image, brand image, brand experience, and product quality. This research obtained 100 respondents, of which 50 were USU students, and 50 were Medan State Polytechnic students, with gender 23 men and 77 women, and an age range of 18 to 25 years.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of digital economic education on employment. As well as to provide knowledge to readers how much influence digital economic education has on employment, especially in economic education students at Medan State University. The research method used is the quantitative approach method. The population in this study were 49 students of the Economic Education study program at Medan State University. The research instrument used is a questionnaire in the form of google from which is distributed via whatsapp groups of economic education students. The data that has been collected is analyzed using simple correlation analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that digital economic education has a positive and significant effect on employment.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) find out what are the roles and strategies of Pertuni in improving the economy of the blind community (2) find out how the roles and strategies of Pertuni in empowering the blind community (3) Know the obstacles in implementing the Pertuni program. As well as, (4) knowing the results of the study of Pertuni's roles and strategies in improving the economy and empowering the blind community with SWOT analysis. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods and information obtained with SWOT analysis. The results showed that (1) the role and strategy of Pertuni in improving the economy by holding various kinds of training such as pre-employment soft skills training, entrepreneurship, holding family gathering activities, and having a side business. (2) In empowering blind people, Pertuni implements several strategies such as learning Braille, playing music and talking computers. (3) The obstacles faced in implementing these strategies are: Accessibility, Facilities, and Psychological (4) Sourced from SWOT analysis research, DPD Pertuni shows that it is located in an aggressive or growing position on the strategy (SO). Where in this position has a strong position and describes the existing external opportunities and avoids the potential negative effects of threats.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of profitability on Stock Prices in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research population of companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2022. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling method and a total of 45 companies were obtained. The type of data used is quantitative data and the data source is secondary data obtained from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange, namely www.idx.co.id. The research data was analyzed using the panel data regression method, namely a combination of data from the time series and cross sections through Eviews 12 data processing. The cause of changes in share prices is wrong the other is influenced by internal factors, namely the profitability ratio. In the profitability ratio there are variables Return On Asset, Return On Equity, Return On Investment, Net Profit Margin, and Gross Profit Margin. The research result Return On Asset had a negative and significant effect on stock prices, Return On Equity, Return On Investment, and Gross Profit Margin had a positive and significant effect on stock prices, Net Profit Margin had a negatif and not significant effect on stock prices.

Abstract

This research aims to test the influence of Hedonic Shopping Motivation, Store Atmosphere and Shopping Lifestyle on Impulse Buying at Makeup Bliss Padang. This type of research is quantitative, where this research uses numerical data and the research process emphasizes objective measurement of results using statistical analysis. The population in this research is Makeup Bliss Padang consumers. However, the number of Makeup Bliss Padang consumers cannot be known for certain and is included in the infinite population category. The sampling technique used was nonprobability sampling and the number of samples was 96 people obtained using the lemeshow formula. The type of data used in this research is quantitative and qualitative data. Meanwhile, the data sources are primary and secondary data sources. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression using the SPSS version 21.00 program. The hypothesis was tested using the t test at α = 0.05. The results of this research show that Hedonic Shopping Motivation, Store Atmosphere and Shopping Lifestyle have a positive and significant effect on Impulse Buying at Makeup Bliss Padang.

Abstract

This study aims to understand more about how enterprise risk management disclosure can affect firm value. The research method used is qualitative research with a literature review approach to structurally discuss previous research articles. In this study, the literature used is published from 2017-2023, which can be accessed in full-text PDF format through Google Scholar using the Publish or Perish (PoP) application. The results showed that risk management disclosure has a positive and significant influence on firm value. This means that the more enterprise risk management disclosure items published by the company, the higher the value of the company. The extent of disclosure of information regarding risk management is one of the factors that investors consider before making a decision to buy shares, in addition to the company's ability to generate profits in good condition.

Abstract

This journal discusses the concept of the supply function in microeconomics, which is a fundamental element in understanding the interaction between price and the quantity of goods offered by producers. This research aims to explain the meaning of the supply function, describe the supply curve, and analyze the factors that cause shifts in the supply curve. Using an analytical approach, this paper shows that the supply curve usually has a positive slope, reflecting that the higher the price of a good, the greater the quantity of the good supplied. In addition, shifts in the supply curve can be influenced by various factors such as changes in production costs, technology, government policies, and the number of producers in the market. It is hoped that the results of this analysis can provide students and researchers with a better understanding in analyzing market dynamics and making more effective decisions. Suggestions for producers and the government were also provided to increase production efficiency and market stability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) on the company's financial performance. The implementation of IFRS is expected to improve the transparency and quality of financial reporting, which in turn can affect the economic and financial decisions made by management and stakeholders. This study uses a quantitative method by analyzing the company's financial data before and after the implementation of IFRS. The data used include annual financial reports from various industrial sectors over a certain period of time. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of IFRS has a significant effect on several financial performance indicators, such as profitability, liquidity, and leverage. These findings suggest that higher and more consistent reporting standards can help companies manage their finances more effectively and increase investor confidence. However, the impact of IFRS implementation also varies depending on the characteristics of the industry and the accounting policies adopted by each company. This study makes an important contribution to the understanding of how international reporting standards can affect the company's financial performance and provides insights for regulators, practitioners, and academics in developing financial reporting policies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze efforts to improve the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Padangsidimpuan City through empowering Human Resources (HR). The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with 15 MSME actors and community leaders. The results of the study indicate that empowering HR through entrepreneurship training, increasing digital literacy, and technical skills training can increase business efficiency, product innovation, and MSME competitiveness. This study provides a strengthening of collaboration between the government, educational institutions, and the private sector in supporting HR empowerment programs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital technology on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Padangsidimpuan City. The study used a qualitative method with in-depth interviews with 12 MSME actors from various sectors, such as culinary, crafts, and trade. The focus of the study is the impact of digital technology on marketing, operational efficiency, and access to financing. The results of the study show that digital technology provides great benefits for MSMEs, especially in expanding the market through social media and e-commerce. However, challenges in the form of limited digital literacy and internet infrastructure still hinder its optimal utilization. This study provides recommendations in the form of digital literacy training and strengthening infrastructure as strategic steps to support the digital transformation of MSMEs in Padangsidimpuan.
