Abstract

This study aims to investigate the partial effects of Return On Assets, Firm Size, Debt To Equity Ratio, and Total Asset Turnover on Company Value in the Automobiles and Components sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2019-2023 period. The sample consists of 9 companies in the Automobiles and Components sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the same period. This study employed multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 25.0 and Microsoft Excel 2016. The results revealed that Return On Assets and Debt To Equity Ratio have a positive and significant partial effect on Company Value, while Firm Size has a negative and significant partial effect on Company Value. On the other hand, Total Asset Turnover has no partial effect on Company Value.

Abstract

Indonesia can achieve stable economic growth. Achieving this requires continuous efforts in designing economic policies that are inclusive and oriented towards community empowerment. Therefore, this study aims to assess the impact of investment, inflation, unemployment, and exports on Indonesia's economic growth interpreted by Gross Domestic Product (GDP) from 1991 - 2022. The Autoregressive Distributed Lag - Error Correction Model (ARDL-ECM) method is used in analyzing time series data to analyze the effect of investment, inflation, unemployment, and export variables on GDP in the long and short term. The findings show that investment and unemployment do not have a significant impact on economic growth, in the long or short term. On the other hand, the probability values of inflation and exports have a significant impact on economic growth, both in the long and short term. Analysis of factors that have an impact on increasing economic growth is important as a reference for local governments in increasing economic growth.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of physical work environment and compensation on employee job satisfaction. This research is a quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The sample in this study is 32 permanent employees at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Rantepao North Toraja Branch. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis using Statictical Product Servive Solution (SPSS). The results of this study show that: 1) The physical work environment variable partially does not have a significant influence on employee job satisfaction at Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Rantepao North Toraja Branch, 2) The compensation variable has a positive and significant influence on employee job satisfaction at Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Rantepao North Toraja Branch, 3) the physical work environment variable and compensation simultaneously have a positive influence and significant to employee job satisfaction at Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Rantepao North Toraja Branch.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the Effect of Total Asset Turnover (TAT), Quality of Productive Assets (KAP) on Profitability (ROA) with Non-Performing Financing (NPF) as a Moderating Variable in Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia for the Period 2019 - 2023 The independent variables used are TAT and KAP, the dependent variables used in this study are Profitability (ROA) and moderation variables in the form of NPF. The research data used is secondary data, TAT level, KAP level and also profitability level (ROA) and is obtained from the official website of each Sharia Commercial Bank in Indonesia which has been published at the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Namely this research consists of 30 data where the data used is the annual data of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. The research method used in this study is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The analysis techniques used in this study are partial test (t-test), simultaneous test (F-test), determination coefficient test (R2) and MRA analysis test using SPSS Version 25.00 analysis tool. The results showed that the TAT variable had no effect on ROA. The KAP variable has a positive and significant effect on ROA. The variables KAP and TAT have a simultaneous effect on ROA. The NPF variable is not able to moderate the effect of TAT on ROA. The NPF variable is not able to moderate the effect of KAP on ROA.

Abstract

PT. Bank Sumut Head Office Medan needs a better assessment of employee productivity to improve the company's performance. Employee productivity assessment can be conducted by analyzing factors influencing employee productivity such as locus of control and rewards. This analysis helps identify which factor has a greater impact on enhancing employee productivity at PT. Bank Sumut Head Office. This study aims to analyze the effect of locus of control and rewards on employee productivity at PT. Bank Sumut Head Office Medan Human Resources Division both partially and simultaneously. This research employs a quantitative method. The population in this study includes employees of PT. Bank Sumut Head Office Medan Human Resources Division, with a sample size of 31 respondents. The sampling was conducted using a non-probability sampling method with a saturated sampling approach. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire measured with a likert scale. The analysis methods used in this study include instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The testing was conducted using Ms. Excel and SPSS version 25. The results of this study indicate that the locus of control variable has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity, while rewards do not affect employee productivity. Additionally, locus of control and rewards simultaneously influence employee productivity. Based on the Adjusted R Square value, it is known that the locus of control and rewards variables contribute 68,5% to the employee productivity variable, while the remaining 31,5% is influenced by factors outside of this study.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence with intellectual intelligence as a moderating variable on the ethical behavior of accounting students. This type of research is quantitative research with an associative approach. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling, a type of Stratified random sampling method, where sampling is carried out and determined using certain consideration techniques and criteria with a sample size of 72 people. The data collection technique used a questionnaire (google form) which was distributed to 72 respondents. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 26. The results of this study indicate that partially emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence have a significant effect on the ethical behavior of accounting students. Meanwhile, from the MRA test results, intellectual intelligence cannot moderate the influence of emotional intelligence or spiritual intelligence on the ethical behavior of accounting students.

Abstract

A ship accident is an unwanted event that can cause material losses or casualties. In this case, the party who feels aggrieved can file a lawsuit to get compensation for the losses suffered. It is undeniable that ship accidents often occur due to various reasons ranging from human error, technical factors, force majeur factors and several other factors. This research aims to find out what are the causes of berthing incidents and to find out the efforts made by ship owners after incidents that occurred at the jetty. In this thesis, a qualitative descriptive method is used with a fishbone diagram approach. Observations, interviews and literature studies are carried out to collect relevant data to identify and explain the causes that arise and also the consequences they cause, so that they can answer the formulation of the problem that has been determined. The results of the study concluded that the lack of communication between the crew and the jetty as well as unfavorable weather conditions were the main factors causing the incident. The lack of effective communication contributes to poor coordination during the berthing process. In an effort to handle the post-incident, PT. Kartika Samudra Adijaya formed an investigation team, increased crew training and strengthened cooperation with the jetty and port authorities. This research is expected to contribute to improving operational procedures and reducing the risk of similar incidents in the future.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and attempt to analyze the influence of compensation, motivation and work discipline on employee performance at PT. BPR LPN Panampung Bukittinggi City. This research is a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) model with the SmartPLS 3.0 analysis tool. The population and sample of this research are employees of PT. BPR LPN Panampung Bukittinggi City. The research results found that there is a positive and significant influence between compensation on employee performance. There is a negative and insignificant influence between Motivation on Employee Performance. There is a negative and insignificant influence between Work Discipline on Employee Performance. There is a joint influence of Compensation, Motivation and Work Discipline on Employee Performance.

Abstract

The research aimed to analyze the behavior of on-street parking attendants in Sikka Regency, focusing on their roles as parking attendants managed by the Transportation Office as a source of Local Revenue (PAD). The theory applied in this research was the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). This research employed a qualitative descriptive method, with data sourced from both primary and secondary sources. The analysis was conducted on parking revenue through observations and interviews related to behavioral accounting aspects, including attitudes, perceptions, emotions, motivation, and personality. The analytical technique employed the Miles and Huberman analysis method. The findings indicated that the analysis of the behavior of on-street parking attendants in Sikka Regency, managed by the Transportation Office, showed that in terms of behavioral accounting indicators, attitudes, and personality rated as poor, whereas perceptions, emotions, and motivation rated as good. The management of on-street parking revenue in Sikka Regency was lack of optimal supervision, resulting in fluctuating parking revenue.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the performance of the Village Government in Managing Village Fund Allocations in Nirangkliung Village, Nita District, Sikka Regency. This research design is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques in the form of observation, documentation and interviews. The type of data in this research is qualitative data with primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data analysis in this research takes the form of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the performance of the Village Government in Managing Village Fund Allocations is quite good, seen from several indicators, namely responsiveness, responsibility and accountability. However, there are two indicators that are not working well, namely productivity indicators and service quality. Therefore, the assessment of productivity and service quality in the Nirangkliung Village government must be improved. The preparation of activity programs must prioritize the programs contained in the Village Development Planning Conference as well as transparency from village government officials to the community in their accountability for managing Village Fund Allocations.
