Abstract

Target yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan sejauh mana pendekatan SRFC mampu membuat mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) belajar mandiri. Paradigma baru yang berkembang di perguruan tinggi menuntut pembelajaran harus mampu memandirikan mahasiswa dalam belajar (self regulated learning). Pendekatan pembelajaran yang secara teori berpotensi mampu memfasilitasi belajar mandiri adalah pendekatan SRFC. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Bedasarkan hasil penelitian, penulis berharap pendekatan Self Regulated Flipped Classroom (SRFC) tidak hanya diterapkan pada mata kuliah Kalkulus diferensial saja melainkan dapat menjadi rujukan pada mata kuliah lain. Adapun pelaksanaan SRFC dari sisi kognitif masih memiliki kekurangan dimana mahasiswa belum terlibat aktif dalam melakukan refleksi berpikir selama pembelajaran, namun mahasiswa lebih terlibat aktif dalam sisi intepretasi. Selain itu, motivasi dan perilaku mahasiswa cenderung positif selama menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran SRFC. Hal ini dikarenakan adanya dukungan dari pengajar dan teman sejawat serta interaksi selama pembelajaran berlangsung. Kata kunci: kalkulus, SRFC, kemandirian belajar. ABSTRACT This research aims to describe the SRFC approach through self regulated indicators and the result of the study of college students in Universitas Ahmad Dahlan. The new paradigm related to Higher Level Education strive for students whom can independently get their own knowledge. SRFC has a potential method to make the students study independently. This research is using qualitative descriptive approach. Based on the result, the author recommend to used SRFC approach not only implemented in Calculus Diferential course but also the other subject. As far as the SRFC activities, cognitive domain hasn’t actively contributed in teaching and learning process because the students havent involve their reflection in learning the subject. However, their intepretation of the subject is actively involved better. In addition, the motivation and the attitude of the students is positive in using SRFC approach. It is because there are support from the teacher and their collegaues and their interaction while they were studying. Keywords: calculus, self-regulated learning, mastery learning.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to discover the mathematical aspect that found in Sasak tribe as shown by the architecture, customs and culture that define Sasak tribe. This study was conducted using ethnographic studies and descriptive qualitative analysis. This study focuses both tangible and intangible aspects of sasak tribe culture which represent sasaknese characteristics. Data was collected using interviews, observations and documentation techniques. The data analysis methodology was conducted utilizing a triangulation method in which specialists and researchers crossed each other in order to look further into the cultural presence of mathematics in society. This study concludes that there is an element of mathematics in the culture of the Sasak tribe, seen from the buildings that have spatial and flat shapes. Other cultures include broad calculations and habits that are integrated with the life of the Sasak people.

Abstract

Bangun ruang sisi datar merupakan materi geometri yang sulit dibelajarkan dan atau dipelajari siswa SMP. Selain konsep yang abstrak, penggunaan LKS, metode, model dan media pembelajaran yang kurang sesuai dengan prinsip pembelajaran geometri merupakan penyebab materi bangun ruang sisi datar sulit dibelajarkan dan atau dipelajari siswa. Penggunaan Google SketchUp sebagai media pembelajaran memungkinkan siswa dan atau guru memvisualisasikan secara nyata konsep atau permasalahan bangun ruang sisi datar. Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini adalah mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan dan menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran REACT berseting Think Talk Write dengan bantuan Google SketchUp pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar SMP yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Subyek penelitian terdiri dari subyek ujicoba terbatas yang terdiri dari guru matematika dan beberapa siswa kelas VIII SMP Islam Druju Kota Malang, sedangkan subyek ujicoba dan operasional terdiri dari guru matematika dan siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Baureno Bojonegoro, Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran dalam penelitian ini didasarkan pada model Borg dan Gall yang terdiri dari 10 tahap. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dikatakan layak diujicobakan setelah hasil analisis data validasi minimal pada kriteria valid, mendapat respon positif dari guru dan siswa apabila hasil analisis data observasi dan angket pada kriteia praktis serta efektif tercapai 80% siswa memperoleh nilai minimal 75. Produk perangkat pembelajaran materi bangun ruang dengan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran REACT berseting TTW berbantuan Google sketchUp yang praktis dan efektif dipublikasikan secara terbatas di SMP Negeri 1 Baureno Bojonegoro. ABSTRACT One of the most challenging geometry issue to learn for junior high school students is geometry of flat surface. Among the hindrances are its abstract concept and inappropriateness of model, method, media and worksheet with the geometry learning principle. Utilizing Google SketchUp as the learning media, students and teacher are able to visualize the concept and the issue in geometry of flat surface. The current research and development study aims at portraying the development process of creating learning document called REACT in Think Talk Write setting using Google SketchUp for geometry of flat surface. The subject of this study consists of limited experiment group and operational limited experiment group. The limited experiment group consists of math teachers and some eight grade students at SMP Islam Druju Kota Malang. Operational limited experiment group consist of math teacher and some eight grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Baureno Bojonegoro. This study is based on Borg and Gall model (1983) comprises ten procedures in detail. Prior to experiment, this leaning document should be valid and accepted by teachers and students. The result indicates this learning document is practical and effective. It was then published exclusively at SMP Negeri 1 Baureno Bojonegoro. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the ability of teachers to manage to learn using the POGIL model and to describe students' critical thinking skills after being taught using the POGIL model. This type of research was quantitative research. The research design used was one group posttest only, with a population of all VII grade students of SMP N 1 Geger, and one class was taken randomly as a sample, namely class VIIC as the sample. The data collection techniques used were observation and tests. Observations were made to obtain data on the ability of teachers in managing to learn using the POGIL learning model and tests were carried out to obtain data on students' critical thinking abilities. The data analysis used was descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that the teacher's ability to manage to learn was said to be effective because the average results of the observed aspects in learning I and II were in good and very good categories. This shows that the teacher has carried out the learning process well and was by the steps of the POGIL learning model. The POGIL learning model was also able to develop students' critical thinking skills because the total percentage of students with high and moderate critical thinking skills was more than 80%. Abstract

Pada umumnya teorema Napoleon diberlakukan pada segitiga. Dalam tulisan ini dibahas teorema Napoleon pada segienam, yaitu segienam yang memiliki tiga pasang sisi sejajar dan sama panjang dengan kasus segienam beraturan yang dibangun mengarah ke luar. Pembuktian pada teorema Napoleon ini dengan menggunakan konsep kesebangunan dan konsep trigonometri. Kata kunci: Teorema Napoleon, konsep kekongruenan, trigonometri. ABSTRACT Napoleon’s Theorem generally applies in triangle. This paper applied Napoleon’s Theorem in hexagons that have three pairs of parallel sides in same length and regular hexagons that are built outward. Abstract

This research aims to create an Android-based mathematics learning application using ethnomaematic elements in traditional Sundanese games. The method used is RnD (Research and Development) with the Borg and Gall model. As for the Borg and Gall model, there are 10 stages of implementing the development of this Android-based mobile learning learning media, namely 1) potential problems; 2) data collection; 3) product design; 4) design validation; 5) revision 1; 6) product trial; 7) revision 2; 8) trial use; 9) revision 3; 10) mass production. Based on the research stages with the Borg and Gall approach, not all have been passed. This research was conducted for two years, now is the first year so that the new stage is design validation carried out by two validators, namely media and materials. The result of this research is an application for learning mathematics with an ethnomathematical approach to traditional Sundanese games based on Android which is still only at the validation stage of media and material experts. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Akan dicari faktor yang mempengaruhi tinggi rendahnya prestasi tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh kreativitas terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa ditinjau dari perbedaan jenis kelamin. kemudian untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mendukung serta menghambat kreativitas siswa. Sampel penelitian yang diambil adalah siswa kelas X yang bersekolah di MAN 1 Kolaka berjumlah 4o orang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian expost-facto. Data-data penelitian diambil dari angket siswa dan dokumentasi prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan kreativitas belajar ditinjau dari jenis kelamin dan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dari prestasi belajar matematika siswa ditinjau dari perbedaan jenis kelamin. Selain itu, terdapat pengaruh yang searah antara kreativitas siswa ditinjau dari perbedaan jenis kelamin terhadap prestasi belajar. Kata kunci: kreativitas, jenis kelamin, prestasi belajar matematika. ABSTRACT This research is based on the low achievement of students' mathematics learning. Will be sought factors that affect the high level of achievement. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is influence of creativity to student's mathematics learning achievement in terms of gender differences. then to know what factors that support and hinder the creativity of students. The sample of the research taken is the X class students who attend school in MAN 1 Kolaka amounted to 4o people. This research is an expost-facto research. The research data is taken from student questionnaire and documentation of student's mathematics learning achievement. The results showed that there was a difference of learning creativity in terms of gender and there was a significant difference from students' mathematics learning achievement in terms of gender differences. In addition, there is a direct influence between student creativity in terms of gender differences on learning achievement. Keywords: creativity, gender, mathematics learning achievement.

Abstract

Creating a model study of Better Teaching and Learning Character (BTL-C) can help students learn with greater passion, activity, and results while assessing the model study's validity, effectiveness, and applicability. These studies are research & Development studies (R&D). Three phases of research were carried out: an examination of the BTL-C model by theoretic and professional review. Empirical testing supports the BTL-C model's empirical validity. Phased implementation to determine whether the BTL-C paradigm is useful and effective. The study's findings show that the developed model study of BTL-C integrates character items into mathematics items and is provided at the network's ICARE step of connection. A validator has verified the validity of this model, and it is backed up with test-field validation data. This methodology has also been tested regarding how well it helps students develop their character and increase their passion, activity, and learning outcomes. Implementing the BTL-C model in practice has also been evaluated through observations of the lecturer's capacity for learning in the classroom, lecturer responses to model-use amenities, and student acceptance of the lecturer-applied model. The final results show that the generated model study for the BTL-C has met all the necessary criteria and is both practical and effective. Keywords: pedagogy competence, BTL-C, ICARE, effective

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui profil pembelajaran matematika pada anak berkebutuhan khusus ragam lamban belajar atau lebih dikenal sebagai slow learner. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah salah satu siswa slow learner di kelas inklusif SMP Garuda Cendekia Jakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara semi-terstruktur. Validitas data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui jalur reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh hasil: (1) kurikulum yang digunakan slow learner disamakan dengan kurikulum reguler, tetapi dilakukan adaptasi kurikulum berupa modifikasi, (2) penggunaan model maupun metode pembelajaran di kelas inklusif disamakan antara slow learner dengan siswa reguler tanpa penyusunan program pembelajaran individual, tetapi pelaksanaannya dilakukan dengan memperhatikan karakteristik slow learner, dan (3) kegiatan evaluasi dilakukan melalui tes tertulis yang disusun oleh guru mata pelajaran yang kemudian dilakukan penyesuaian oleh guru pembimbing khusus berdasarkan model modifikasi. Kata kunci: pembelajaran matematika, anak berkebutuhan khusus, slow learner, inklusif, modifikasi. ABSTRACT This study aimed for unveiling mathematics-learning process of different abilities students in slow learning spectrum. This study used a qualitative approach by case study method. The subject of this research was one of SMP Garuda Cendekia’s students with slow learning spectrum. The data were collected through the method of semi-structured interviews. The data was validated by using data triangulation technique. The data then was analyzed through flows of activity: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results were: (1) The curriculum used by the teacher for the research subject was the general curriculum, modified to cater the needs of the subject research, (2) the learning model and method for the subject research did not differ from the other students and was applied by considering the research subject’s characteristic without the need of planning an individualized education program, and (3) written test was used as means of evaluation that was arranged by the mathematics subject teacher after being accommodated by the special education teachers based on the modified model. Abstract

Persamaan dan Fungsi kuadrat adalah materi Matematika yang memerlukan ketelitian dalam menghitung dan menyajikannya dalam bentuk gambar grafik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Matematika Persamaan dan Fungsi Kuadrat melalui model Problem Based Learning dengan Kartu True Or False bagi siswa kelas IX H semester 1 SMP Negeri 5 Purwokerto tahun pelajaran 2019/2020.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 5 Purwokerto Kecamatan Purwokerto Selatan Kabupaten Banyumas, bulan Juni 2019 sampai dengan Oktober 2019. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan dua siklus perbaikan pembelajaran. subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX H yang berjumlah 32 siswa dengan rincian 16 siswa laki-laki dan 16 siswa perempuan. Instrumen untuk mengupulkan data adalah lembar pengamatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, dokumen dan hasil tes dari penelitian ini menunjukan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar dari kondisi awal 56,32 menjadi 71,36 pada siklus II (kondisi Akhir). Di samping itu jumlah siswa yang mencapai batas kriteria ketuntasan minimal pun meningkat dari 9 siswa pada kondisi awal 23 siswa pada kondisi akhir.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penerapan model problem based learning dengan kartu true or false dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Persamaan dan fungsi kuadrat.bagi siswa kelas IX H SMP Negeri 5 Purwokerto tahun pelajaran 2019/2020.
