The Minimum Competency Assessment is one of the national assessments used in 2021 by the Ministry of Education and Culture to replace the high school level national exam. It focuses on measuring literacy and numeric skills through students' logical abilities and reading comprehension. To trigger an increase in logic skills, SMAN 1 Lumajang students are given additional knowledge outside the curriculum. One of them is through the introduction of microcontrollers and PLCs, namely logic-based programming devices. This activity is also able to increase digital, technological and human literacy competencies in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 because Microcontrollers and PLCs are widely used in the field of industrial automation. From the implementation of the activity it is known that the results of the participants' quizzes on each subject matter showed very satisfactory results with an average score of 76 and the results of the participants' tests at the end of the lesson also showed satisfactory results with an average score. out of 74. In addition, the results of the participant questionnaire in response to the implementation of the activity showed very good results. With these activities, the microcontroller and PLC can be used as one of the extracurricular activities to improve the competence of SMAN 1 Lumajang students.

Penelitian ini didasari pada permasalahan industri pelayaran nasional yang selama ini dikuasai oleh kapal-kapal asing. Sebelum diterapkan asas cabotage pada tahun 2005 hanya berkisar 6041 armada, setelah pemberlakukan asas cabotage, pada tahun 2017, armada pelayaran nasional menjadi 23.823. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa implementasi Asas Cabotage memberikan pengaruh yang besar terhadap industri pelayaran nasional. industri pelayaran nasional menjadi semakin berkembang. Jumlah perusahaan pelayaran nasional dan kapal nasional semakin bertambah, sehingga seluruh kegiatan bongkar muat di pelabuhan nasional dapat dikuasai oleh perusahaan pelayaran nasional. Penerapan asas cabotage banyak dampak positif yang dirasakan bagi pertumbuhan ekonomi yang dirasakan oleh PT. Orela Bahari pada bidang jasa pengangkutan. Namun demikian potensi dampak negatif juga mengintai jika pemberlakuan asas cabotage tidak disiasati dengan baik, melalui keberadaan pelabuhan yang mampu mengakselarasi pertumbuhan ekonomi dengan menurunkan biaya transportasi serta waktu tunggu di pelabuhan. Peningkatan jumlah kapal angkutan serta peningkatan pangsa muatan bagi perusahaan angkutan laut merupakan suatu dampak yang sangat terasa bagi perusahaan seperti PT. Orela Bahari.

Pada penelitian ini, tema yang ingin dikemukakan adalah menganalisis secara menyeluruh sertifikasi kemampuan dan ketrampilan para petugas pelabuhan dan TKBM dalam melaksanakan kegiatan bongkar muat barang di pelabuhan, sepertidiketahui banyaknya kecelakaan kerja yang kerap terjadi pada para petugas pelabuhan dan TKBM dikarenakan kurangnya ketrampilan dalam menggunakan alat-alat bongkar muat barang & alat-alat keselamatan kerja yang sesuai ditinjau dari aspek kompetensi kerja sesuai standar SKKNI. Serta pentingnya kompetensi petugas operasional pelabuhan dan TKBM di Pelabuhan guna meningkatkan keahlian dan peran buruh pelabuhan dalam persaingan bebas masyarakat ekonomi Asean (MEA) pada saat ini. Berdasarkan fokus penelitian yang telah diuraikan dalam rumusan masalah maka jenis penelitian yang akan digunakan adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian di lingkungan Pelabuhan Indonesia III Cabang Surabaya (Mewakili wilayah Indonesia bagian Barat) dan Pelabuhan Indonesia IV cabang Makassar (Mewakili wilayah Indonesia bagian Timur. Sedangkan yang termasuk dalam informan penelitian terdiri dari : Informan Utama: para Supervisor, para Foreman, para TKBM di lingkungan Pelabuhan Indonesia III Cabang Surabaya dan Pelabuhan Indonesia IV Cabang Makassar dan informan pendukung adalah Manajer Divisi SDM, Ka. Seksi bimbingan usaha dan jasa kepelabuhanan, Ka. Seksi pengamanan faslitas pelabuhan, Ketua Koperasi TKBM. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melalui kegiatan wawancara, studi dokumen dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan petugas operasional pelabuhan dan para tenaga kerja bongkar muat pelabuhan di lingkungan PT. PELINDO III dan PT. PELINDO IV sebagian besar belum tersertifikasi oleh Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi (BNSP)-Jakarta. Para petugas operasional pelabuhan dan para tenaga kerja bongkar muat pelabuhan masih dibekali dengan sertifikat yang dikeluarkan oleh Kementrian Tenaga Kerja RI up.masing-masing disnaker di wilayah kerja lingkungan PT. PELINDO III dan PT. PELINDO IV.

Pada penelitian ini di fokuskan pada pengaruh Idle Time terhadap Produktivitas bongkar-muat menjadi perhatian dalam operasional pelabuhan. Idle Time (IT) adalah waktu tidak efektif atau tidak produktif atau terbuang selama Kapal berada di tambatan disebabkan pengaruh cuaca dan peralatan bongkar muat yang rusak. Indikator produktivitas/kinerja bongkar muat dibagi menjadi 2 yaitu: (1) Box Crane Per Hour (BCH) yaitu banyaknya box petikemas yang dilaksanakan oleh satu buah crane dalam waktu satu jam. (2) Box Ship Per Hour (BSH) yaitu banyaknya box petikemas yang mampu dibongkar/muat oleh pihak terminal terhadap satu buah kapal dalam waktu satu jam. Jenis Penelitian jenis penelitian ini digolongkan ke dalam penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif yaitu analisis berdasarkan perhitungan obyektif untuk memecahkan persoalan yang sifatnya dapat diukur, karena penulis mencari pengaruh antara Idle Time (IT) terhadap produktivitas bongkar muat petikemas di Terminal nilam & Mirah PT. Pelabuhan Tanjung Perak Surabaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh idle time terhadap produktivitas bongkar-muat petikemas sebesar -0,346 dengan probabilitas sebesar 0,737, serta menunjukkan bahwa probabilitas > significant alpha (5% atau 0,05). Hal ini berarti dapat disimpulkan tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan Idle time terhadap produktivitas bongkar-muat petikemas di Terminal Petikemas PT. Pelabuhan Tanjung Perak- Surabaya.

Character education has its own uniqueness when applied in the context of shipping cadet education. Sailing cadets are those who are undergoing education to become reliable sailors or sailors. In this profession, it requires not only technical expertise in navigation and ship operations, but also a strong character to face challenges in an often harsh and dangerous maritime environment. Qualitative method with case study is a suitable research approach to investigate the implementation of character education in the formation of shipping cadets. Through this method, research will be conducted in depth to understand how character education is integrated in curriculum and daily practice in specific shipping schools. In this context, research shows that there is a need to strengthen the integration of character education in the cruise education curriculum to ensure that character values and principles are not only taught separately, but also integrated in every aspect of cadet learning and experience. This can be done through the development of more holistic and well-rounded programs, as well as through training for cruise school faculty and staff to understand how to best integrate character education into their teaching. Studies show that cadets consider strong character important in the maritime profession. However, there are variations in their views on the effectiveness of character education in cruise schools. There needs to be stronger integration between character education and technical curriculum, as well as training for shipping school teachers and staff. The findings of this study provide the basis for the development of more effective strategies in improving the integration of character education in cruise schools.

Ship document services in the context of agency services play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of ship operations in accordance with the standards set by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). Agent services are responsible for providing various document services that support ship operational activities, starting from the arrival process, maintenance, to ship departure, in accordance with IMO standards. Explaining that quantitative research is a type of research that uses numbers as a means to carry out data analysis. In its application, the figures are analyzed using statistical methods to obtain more measurable and objective information. So that the researcher can identify the influences or relationships that exist in the data, allowing for more quantitative interpretation and generalization to a wider population. So by applying a quantitative approach, the author realizes the aim of validating and measuring the extent to which the y variable in improving port security as an attachment variable can be known and answered. A total of 30 respondents filled out a 2-material questionnaire, each of which contained 9 questions regarding document services and 9 questions regarding agency operations. Filling in the questionnaire is carried out by the ship's crew using agency services at PT. Samudera Makmur Agency Cilacap branch 1. Document services (X) are partially very influential because they have a positive and significant probability of agency performance (Y). Has a positive and significant influence with a regression coefficient of ???? 6.312+0.862X The linear regression equation shows that increasing the level of document service on agency performance at PT. Samudera Makmur Agensi is 0.862 2. Based on the results of the coefficient of determination test to determine the amount of influence exerted by variables X and Y, it is found that the R square value is 0.859 or 85%. This shows the magnitude of the positive influence of the implementation of document services on agency performance..

Port clearance is an important document for ships that will sail. However, in practice, the issuance of port clearance often experiences problems and obstacles. This research aims to determine inhibiting factors, as well as efforts to optimize the issuance of SPB or port clearance. This research uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive data analysis technique using the fishbone method, and data collection techniques through interviews, documentation, and observations as research data. Referring to the research results, it shows that factors such as negligence in monitoring ship documents and ineffective communication cause delays in the SPB verification and issuance process, which have an impact on delayed ship departure schedules and increased operational costs. Efforts that can be made to mitigate the consequences of the delay in the departure of MT. Samudra Sindo 38 are efforts to improve ship document monitoring and improve internal and external communication to help optimize the SPB issuance process. Thus, these steps are expected to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of SPB issuance at PT. Taraka Samudera Sejahtera.

The problem of clinker damage during the loading process, many problems that arise cannot be separated from several natural factors and errors in procedures during the loading and unloading process. The aim of this research is to determine the impact, causes and efforts to prevent clinker damage during loading activities at the PT Special Terminal. Semen Indonesia Tuban. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive research method. This research was carried out at PT. Varia Usaha Bahri Tuban branch. The techniques used in collecting data are through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research are that the occurrence of clinker damage is the fault of the loading and unloading workers (TKBM) in maintaining the cleanliness of organic and inorganic waste in the stacking yard area and the foreman must carry out weather observations.

Polytechnic Pelayaran Surabaya (POLTEKPEL) in 2019, As part of government services that have successfully gained recognition as a Zone of Integrity Free from Corruption (WBK), this agency continues to take steps to achieve the title of Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBBM), in accordance with the concepts of bureaucratic reform and good governance. After experiencing a period of becoming a WBK predicate from 2019 to mid-2023, Surabaya Poltekpel continues to develop and create new innovations so that it can achieve the WBBM title and build a culture of excellent service in welcoming the era of Society 5.0.The type of research used in this study is Mixed methods research, This research adopts a Mixed Methods Research approach that combines quantitative and qualitative methods in the process of data collection and analysis. This approach provides assumptions that make it possible to direct how to obtain data from both types of approaches. The results showed that there was a change in the mindset of public services towards the era of Society 5.0, Public services by utilizing technology that can improve the quality and efficiency of services provided.in the Surabaya Poltekpel institution environment has been implemented E-OFFICE, Innovative Service: by developing innovation in providing better and more effective services, and the existence of data-based services and information openness so that it is necessary to create a model to build a culture of excellent service at the Surabaya Shipping Polytechnic, in welcoming the era of Society 5.0
