Abstract

This study aims to describe the design and assess the level of practicality of using a teacher performance assessment application in madrasas as a digital solution that can improve efficiency, objectivity, and transparency in the academic supervision process. The approach used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method with an evaluative component, where data are collected through observation, documentation, and the distribution of questionnaires. The application consists of four integrated dashboards, specifically designed for principals, assessors, teachers, and students. Each dashboard is designed according to the function of its users, such as setting supervision schedules, filling out digital assessment sheets, uploading documents, and evaluating the learning process by students. The results of the practicality test showed a level of practicality of 95% for principals, 98% for assessors, 98% for teachers, and 97% for students, all of which are in the “very practical” category. These findings indicate that this application is practical and easy to implement in the madrasah school environment. This study provides implications that the use of teacher performance assessment applications can improve efficiency and transparency in the academic supervision process in madrasas. In addition, this application also encourages fairness and equality in teacher performance evaluation, which can ultimately contribute to improving the quality of education in madrasas.

Abstract

Evaluation instruments in teacher training are important elements to ensure the improvement of teaching competence and the effectiveness of the learning process. With the development of technology, digital-based evaluation instruments have emerged as a solution to provide faster and more accurate feedback. However, the use of technology in training evaluation still faces challenges, such as limited digital skills among some teachers. This study aims to develop a digital-based evaluation instrument and analyze its impact on teacher competency development. The approach used in this study is qualitative with a case study design, through in-depth interview techniques, participatory observation, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that digital-based evaluation instruments have a positive impact on teacher competency development by accelerating the process of self-reflection and improving teaching techniques. However, challenges related to technical limitations in some teachers require attention to ensure the effectiveness of using this instrument. These findings emphasize the importance of technology training to support continuous teacher professional development.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital financial technology has significantly changed transaction patterns among university students, particularly through the use of e-wallets. The level of adoption of this technology is strongly influenced by individuals' financial literacy and digital literacy. This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy and digital literacy on students' decisions to use e-wallets at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Padang State University. This research employed a quantitative approach with an associative design. The sample consisted of 98 students selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that financial literacy and digital literacy simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the decision to use e-wallets. Partially, both financial literacy and digital literacy also have a significant influence, with digital literacy showing a more dominant effect. These findings highlight the importance of enhancing both digital and financial literacy as a foundation for shaping intelligent and adaptive financial decisions in response to technological developments.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of user-generated content (UGC) authenticity on purchase intention, with consumer trust serving as a mediating variable, and draws parallels to educational management, particularly in digital learning environments. The research highlights how the phenomenon of overclaiming in UGC, especially on platforms like TikTok, raises concerns about authenticity, similar to challenges faced by educational institutions in ensuring the credibility of online content. Using a survey of 103 TikTok users, the study finds that UGC authenticity has a positive influence on consumer trust, which in turn significantly impacts purchase intention. These findings underscore the importance of maintaining authenticity and transparency in content, not only in marketing but also in educational settings, where trust in content is crucial for student engagement, motivation, and academic success. This study provides implications for the importance of authenticity and transparency in digital content in educational management. To increase student trust and engagement, educators must manage authentic information on digital platforms. Additionally, digital curricula should prioritize the development of critical thinking skills and information ethics in students.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of YouTube as a medium for Islamic da’wah and its effectiveness in reaching diverse audiences through varied content strategies. With the rapid expansion of digital platforms, YouTube has become a critical tool in spreading Islamic teachings to a global audience. The research uses a qualitative approach, employing content analysis and interviews with content creators and viewers. The findings reveal that YouTube’s accessibility allows for the widespread distribution of da’wah content, reaching Muslims worldwide at any time. The study also identifies that diverse content strategies, including traditional lectures and creative visuals, significantly enhance viewer engagement, especially among younger audiences. However, the research also highlights challenges in ensuring the accuracy of content and preventing misinformation. The implications suggest that while YouTube is a powerful tool for da’wah, stricter oversight and content monitoring are essential. Future research should explore the effectiveness of other social media platforms and examine long-term viewer engagement.

Abstract

Evaluating the performance of construction consultants is crucial to the success of a project, particularly in ensuring adherence to quality, budget, and timeline.  To examine the factors influencing stakeholder satisfaction, this study combines Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) with SmartPLS-based Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM).  A poll of respondents with prior experience in building projects was used to gather data.  The findings indicate that, although the constructed structural model is reasonably solid (R² = 0.790), factors such as professionalism, communication, quality control, project management, and support have not demonstrated a significant impact on the perceived significance of the consultant’s job.  This result implies that data-driven performance improvement techniques are required to enhance consultants’ involvement in building projects. The findings of this study highlight the importance of integrating data-driven performance improvement techniques into educational programs for construction management. By emphasizing professionalism, communication, project management, and quality control, educational institutions can better prepare future construction consultants to meet stakeholder expectations and improve their contributions to building projects.

Abstract

The background of this study focuses on the importance of educational supervision in improving the quality of learning and graduates in secondary schools. An effective supervision system can play an important role in improving the quality of teaching and responsiveness to students' learning needs. This study aims to examine the pattern of educational supervision applied in private secondary schools, with a focus on collaboration between supervisors and teachers to improve the quality of learning. The approach used is qualitative research with a case study design. Data were collected through interviews with supervisors and teachers, direct observations in class, and analysis of documentation related to supervision activities. The results of the study indicate that supervision is carried out through classroom observations, weekly evaluations, and reflective discussions between supervisors and teachers. Follow-up to the results of supervision, such as improvement planning and implementation of remedial strategies, has proven effective in improving the quality of learning and student understanding. The implication of this study is the importance of a collaborative approach in supervision that allows teachers and supervisors to work together to improve teaching methods. This study contributes to the development of a collaboration-based educational supervision model. The limitations of this study lie in the limited scope of one school, so further research with a wider scope is needed to generalize these findings.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify ways to enhance service quality, with the expectation of providing effective handling solutions and input for related parties in the context of sustainable urban development, particularly in Transjakarta. One hundred surveys were sent to passengers utilizing Transjakarta services on the BKN-Depok route, after which the data were processed and analyzed using IPA and QFD methodologies. Based on the results of the analysis of the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and Quality Function Deployment (QFD) methods, here is a positive relationship between fulfillment of customer requirements identified through QFD and improved bus performance, strengthening service maintenance and repair SOPs and periodic monitoring and evaluation of the system are the main concerns and must be improved. This study provides valuable insights for educational management, particularly in developing curricula that integrate aspects of public services and urban transportation. The findings underscore the importance of enhancing students’ understanding of quality management methodologies, such as IPA and QFD, to improve the management of sustainable public transportation systems.
