Abstract

This study employs the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to examine the influence of political policies on Islamic education in Indonesia. By collecting data from various journals, books, and relevant sources published in the last five years, the study finds that the relationship between political power and Islamic education is both strong and dynamic. Historically, Islamic education has often served as a tool for reinforcing authority, as well as a means of shaping national character. In the context of modern politics, especially during the reform era, Islamic education has been strengthened through policies such as educational decentralization, recognition of the status of madrasahs, integration of general and religious curricula, and financial support. However, challenges such as globalization, technological advancement, democratization, and moral decline remain serious threats that must be anticipated. Therefore, Islamic education must be adaptive and strategic to actively contribute to the development of a religious and morally grounded national civilization. This study emphasizes that Islamic education holds a strategic position within the national education system and must be continuously reinforced in response to global political and social dynamics.

Abstract

The expression “Indonesia Gelap” emerged on social media as a satirical critique of systemic corruption and governance failures in Indonesia under the administration of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, quickly gaining traction among younger audiences through the Meet Nite Live TikTok account. This study aims to uncover how the “Indonesia Gelap” narrative is constructed, disseminated, and consumed within the TikTok platform. Employing a descriptive qualitative design grounded in Fairclough’s three‐stage Critical Discourse Analysis (textual, discursive, and social practice), data were collected via digital observation and documentation of videos tagged #IndonesiaGelap, followed by systematic pre‐selection based on lexical frequency, virality metrics, and political relevance. Findings reveal that the narrative utilizes sports metaphors such as “liga korupsi” and “season baru PLN kesetrum” and hyperbolic language “token listrik, silau, Indonesia” to frame corruption as an endless, dramatized spectacle, while strategic tagging and timing leverage TikTok’s For You Page algorithm to achieve high engagement (10.7 K likes, 499 comments, 893 saves, 1 696 shares). At the social level, the hashtag functions both as collective expression of moral outrage and as a mobilizing symbol of ideological resistance. Limitations include the single‐account focus and qualitative scope; future research should broaden platform and creator samples and integrate mixed methods to measure long‐term impact on political perceptions.

Abstract

Transfer pricing practices have become a central focus in international taxation as a common tax planning strategy employed by multinational corporations. In Indonesia, regulations related to transfer pricing have undergone significant developments in an effort to align with international standards. Through a comprehensive analysis of recent literature, this article examines tax management concerning related party transactions, focusing on three main aspects: the concept of related parties in taxation, tax regulations on intercompany transactions, and fair price determination mechanisms. The main findings indicate that although Indonesia's transfer pricing regulations have adopted OECD standards, their implementation still faces challenges such as limited comparable data and the complexity of related party transactions. This article also identifies effective strategies in tax management for related parties, including the application of Advance Pricing Agreements (APA) and comprehensive transfer pricing documentation.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a technology-based innovation product in the form of an Arduino-based Waste ATM that can automatically receive and manage plastic bottle waste to help increase public awareness and participation in recycling waste management. The research method used is research and development or Research & Development (R&D) which adapts the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 (five) stages, namely 1.) Analyze; 2.) Design; 3.) Development; and 4.) Implementation; and 5.) Evaluation. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it was found that the Arduino-based waste ATM system has been successfully designed and tested as a solution in automatically managing plastic bottle waste. The implementation of this system uses a capacitive proximity sensor and an ultrasonic sensor that functions to detect the type of material and the volume or size of the waste. In its application, there are several obstacles that need to be considered, such as the setting of the capacitive proximity sensor in recognizing non-plastic waste which causes the system to sometimes be able to process it. Therefore, to improve the effectiveness of the system in supporting public awareness of waste recycling, further optimization is needed such as the integration of additional sensors or the development of more adaptive algorithms.
