Abstract

The implementation of this community service discusses the activity of providing free tutoring to several elementary school students at the Lubuk Buaya Education & Private Learning House, Padang City. The purpose of this activity is to provide free learning to elementary school students and to help them repeat what they learned at school. The number of participants in this activity was 5 elementary school students. The results of this activity include increasing student learning motivation, so that children are able to complete homework problems without having to argue with their parents. The outputs resulting from this free tutoring activity are: Journals with ISSN; The services of this free tutoring activity can increase students' motivation and confidence in learning and provide additional knowledge for participants and can help children continue to study at home without having to be reprimanded from their respective parents

Abstract

This research aims to enhance the learning outcomes of students by using animated videos in learning the material. Theme 1: About the growth and development of living creatures, Subtheme 3: Metamorphosis of Animals, Learning 5. This purchase is a quasi-experimental study using animated video media conducted in two classes. The subjects in this study were students of class IV SDN 01 Ulak Karang Selatan, in class A, which numbered as many as 20 students, and in class B, which numbered 20 students. Student learning results are measured from the final test of student learning results. From the results of the research, it can be seen that the animated video media can improve the learning results of students in the learning process of IPAS in class IV SDN 01 Ulak Karang Selatan. This can be seen in the difference between the average value of the experimental pretest of 54.9 and the posttest experimental of 80.1, whereas the average evaluation of the control class pretest is 47.9 and the control class posttest is 58.75. As can be seen on the test hypothesis t that obtained significance sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05, this is stated according to the basis of decision-making in an independent test sample t-test. Then it can be concluded that Ha is accepted annd Ho is rejected. So, the results of the research show that there is an influence of animated video media on the learning outcomes of IPAS in SDN 01 Ulak Karang Selatan

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes by using poster media in Thematic learning on Theme 5 Subtheme 3 Lessons 1, 2 and 3 Concerning the Influence of Weather Changes on Human Life. This research is experimental research using poster media carried out in 2 classes. The subjects in this research were class III students at SDN 01 Ulak Karang Selatan, in class A there were 26 students and in class D there were 21 students. Student learning outcomes are also measured from student learning results sheets and LKPD sheets at each meeting. Judging from the results of this research, the use of poster media can improve student learning outcomes in class III Shiva Thematic learning at SD Negeri 01 Ulak Karang Selatan. It can be seen in the difference in the average score of the pretest for the Experimental Class 64.81 and the posttest for the Experimental Class 80.81, while the average result of the pretest for the Control Class is 57.15 and the posttest for the Control Class is 69.54, then it can also be seen in the T test hypothesis The obtained sig is significant. (2-tailed) 0.00 < 0.05, then according to the basis for decision making in the independent T-Test sample test, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

This research aims to explain and describe the implementation of Indonesian Language Learning through a Communicative Approach in Class V Students of SDN 01 Ulak Karang Selatan, Padang City. This research is motivated by the fact that the use of learning methods in learning Indonesian has not been varied. Therefore, this research aims to describe the teacher's efforts in implementing Indonesian Language learning for Class V Students at SDN 01 Ulak Karang Selatan, Padang City, factors that influence the success of Indonesian Language learning for Class V Students at SDN 01 Ulak Karang Selatan, Padang City. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Then the data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation, then data analysis was carried out through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The subjects of this research are class V teachers and students. Based on the research results, it was found that (1) the teacher's efforts in implementing Indonesian language learning for Class V students at SDN 01 Ulak Karang Selatan, Padang City, namely that the teacher still uses the lecture method, where this method is a way of learning or teaching that emphasizes one-way notification from the teacher to the students. (active teacher, passive learner). (2) factors that influence the success of learning Indonesian for Class V Students at SDN 01 Ulak Karang Selatan, Padang City consist of Indonesian Language Learning Competency Standard Factors, Teacher Factors, Student Factors, Family Environment Factors, Facilities and Infrastructure Factors.

Abstract

Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan di SDN 22 Lubuk Buaya Padang diperoleh informasi bahwa peserta didik masih sulit mengoptimalkan kemampuan berpikir khususnya dalam melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya penilaian untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Salah satu bentuk penilaian yang dapat dikembangkan dalam bentuk ini adalah penilaian esai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan penilaian esai berbasis learning cycle model 7E untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi suhu dan kalor dengan kriteria valid, praktis, efektif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan. Model pengembangannya menggunakan 4D. Persentase validitas hasil penilaian essay sebesar 89,63%%, RPP sebesar 92,36% dan penilaian 88,89%. Hasil yang diperoleh kepraktisan RPP kepraktisan 84,56% respon guru sebesar 87,50%, dan respon siswa sebesar 88,27%. Hasil efektif diperoleh sikap rata-rata 85,28, penilaian pengetahuan untuk penilaian essay diperoleh rata-rata 83,16 dan untuk soal post-test diperoleh rata-rata 81,68. Keterampilan penilaian diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 85,42. Selanjutnya, distribusi data diperoleh melalui uji efektifitas kelas yang berbeda. Hasil penyebaran diperoleh rata-rata sikap sebesar 84,06, pada penilaian pengetahuan untuk penilaian essay diperoleh rata-rata 84,06 dan untuk soal post-test diperoleh rata-rata 83,33. Penilaian keterampilan yang diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 84,21. Hasil penelitian penilaian esai berbasis learning cycle model 7E untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi suhu dan kalor dengan kriteria sangat valid, sangat praktis, dan efektif

Abstract

The background to the problem in this research is low student learning outcomes, school facilities and infrastructure are incomplete and teachers rarely use media during learning. This research aims to improve the science and science learning aoutcomes of class III students at SD Negeri 07 Kinali. This research was conducted from October to December 2023. In the independent curriculum, science and social studies subjects are combined into one called IPAS. Natural and social science or (IPAS) is a science that discusses living things and inanimate objects and discusses human life as individual and social creatures. The method used in this research is classroom action research (PTK). This research used 2 cycles consisting of four interrelated stages. The four stages are the planning stage, implementation stage, observation and reflection stage. The results of this research show that the use of audio visual media can improve sciencelearning outcomes for class III students at SD Negeri 07 kinali. Students become more motivated and active in the teaching and learning process. In cycle I, student learning outcomes were 63,25%, while in cycle II it reached 86%, this increase in scores proves that there has been an increase in student learning outcomes through audio visual media at SD N\negeri 07 kinali.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana pelatihan penggunaan Game-Based Learning dapat membantu guru di sekolah di tingkat dasar dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan prestasi siswa. Melalui pendekatan ini, diharapkan guru akan lebih siap untuk mengimplementasikan game dalam pembelajaran mereka, yang pada gilirannya dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi perkembangan akademik siswa. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan model pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan sesuai dengan perkembangan teknologi saat ini, serta menambah wawasan dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan. Pelatihan penggunaan Game-Based Learning untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan prestasi siswa di tingkat dasar ini diselenggarakan oleh KGB SD Pariaman Selatan pada Hari Selasa, 26 November 2024, mulai pukul 14.00 hingga 15.30 WIB. Acara ini akan dipandu oleh narasumber, yaitu penulis sendiri, Bapak Gingga Prananda, M.Pd., yang akan membahas penerapan game dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi siswa. Kegiatan pelatihan Game-Based Learning yang diselenggarakan oleh KGB SD Pariaman Selatan pada 26 November 2024 berhasil menarik antusiasme 50 guru dari berbagai sekolah. Para peserta diberikan pemahaman tentang penerapan game dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan prestasi siswa. Narasumber, Bapak Gingga Prananda, M.Pd., menjelaskan cara mengintegrasikan game edukatif ke dalam pelajaran seperti matematika dan bahasa Indonesia, serta memberikan contoh praktis yang mudah diterapkan. Para guru merasa lebih percaya diri untuk menggunakan game dalam pembelajaran, yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan siswa. Secara keseluruhan, pelatihan ini berhasil memberikan pengetahuan baru dan mendorong inovasi dalam metode pengajaran.

Abstract

Meaningful and enjoyable learning will lead students to memorable learning experiences, one of which can be achieved through learning activities that emphasize the involvement of student learning activities. The purpose of this research is to describe the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the results of learning design with the ASSURE model in elementary schools. This research is research development (research and development). The model used as the basis for developing this learning design is ASSURE. The procedure for developing this learning design is in accordance with the stages of the ASSURE development model. The test subjects in this study were fourth grade students at SDN 16 Sitiung in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The results of this study show validity at 90% in the very valid category. The practicality of the results of the ASSURE model learning design model with a percentage of 93%. While the effectiveness of the implementation of lesson plans, activities and learning outcomes of students with a percentage of 90%. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that the learning design with the ASSURE model developed was valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role and potential of Deep Learning (DL) approaches in the field of education through a literature review method. DL, as a branch of artificial intelligence, is increasingly applied across various educational domains, including personalized learning, educational data analysis, and the development of intelligent teaching systems. This review analyzes more than 20 scholarly articles published in the past decade to identify DL’s contributions to the effectiveness and efficiency of the learning process. The findings indicate that DL enhances the accuracy of student performance predictions, supports adaptive learning, and strengthens natural language processing in educational contexts. However, challenges such as limited infrastructure, low technological literacy among educators, and ethical issues like data privacy remain major obstacles. The study concludes that DL approaches hold a strategic role in addressing future educational challenges, though their success largely depends on the wise and collaborative integration of technology.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has had a significant impact across various sectors, including education. However, the understanding and application of AI in Indonesia's educational environment still face several challenges, such as low digital literacy and limited technological infrastructure. This community service activity aimed to enhance educators’ and education stakeholders’ literacy and understanding of the potential and challenges of using AI in the learning process. The activity was conducted in the form of a webinar titled “Educational Transformation Through Artificial Intelligence Innovation”, attended by 100 participants from diverse backgrounds. The materials presented covered fundamental AI concepts, its application in education, as well as relevant ethical and policy issues. Evaluation results showed an average increase of 60% in participants’ understanding scores after attending the webinar. In addition, over 95% of participants expressed satisfaction with the content delivered and showed interest in follow-up activities. This activity demonstrates that an educational approach through webinars is effective in improving AI literacy among educators and can serve as an initial step toward a more adaptive and inclusive educational transformation.
