Abstract

Research this study aimed to investigate the effect of 1using the Cake application on students’ English speaking ability at Grade X of SMA Negeri 04 Seluma in the academic year 2024/2025. Previous studies have reported that mobile-assisted language learning applications contribute positively to vocabulary mastery and listening skills; however, empirical evidence focusing specifically on speaking ability at the senior high school level, particularly in rural school contexts, remains limited. To address this gap, this research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design involving two groups: an experimental group taught using the Cake application and a control group taught using conventional teaching methods. The research instrument was a speaking test consisting of 17 incomplete-sentence items administered at the pre-test and post-test stages. The instrument was tested and confirmed to be valid and reliable. The findings showed that the mean post-test score of the experimental group (74.79) was higher than that of the control group (62.23). Statistical analysis using a paired sample t-test indicated a significant difference between the two groups (0.000 < 0.05). These results indicate that the use of the Cake application is effective in improving students’ English speaking ability. Therefore, integrating mobile learning applications such as Cake can be considered a viable instructional strategy to enhance speaking skills in English language learning at the senior high school level.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using digital da'wah media in improving religious literacy in grade XI students of MAN Insan Cendekia OKI. In the midst of a fast and massive flow of information, digital da'wah comes as a fresh and relevant approach for Generation Z. This study uses a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression method on 30 randomly selected respondents. The results showed that digital da'wah has a significant and positive influence on religious literacy. It is known that 70.5% of variations in the level of religious literacy can be explained by the intensity of access to digital da'wah. This proves that digital media is not only a means of entertainment, but can also be an effective educational medium to shape moderate and critical religious understanding among adolescents. This research is expected to be an inspiration for preachers, educational institutions, and the younger generation in utilizing technology to strengthen religious values in a positive way.

Abstract

The Indonesian film industry is experiencing rapid growth, marked by an increase in local film production and high audience interest. However, high-quality films do not always achieve commercial success, as shown by Better Off Dead, which received positive reviews but attracted relatively few viewers. This study aims to analyze the influence of content marketing, experiential marketing, and electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) on movie ticket purchase decisions among Gen Z consumers in Greater Jakarta. Using a quantitative explanatory approach, data were collected from 110 respondents through purposive sampling and analyzed using SPSS with multiple linear regression. The findings reveal that content marketing, experiential marketing, and e-WOM each have a positive and significant effect, both partially and simultaneously, on purchase decisions. Among these variables, e-WOM emerged as the most influential factor, highlighting the crucial role of online reviews, recommendations, and information on social media in shaping Gen Z consumers’ decisions. This study offers implications for the film industry to optimize content marketing strategies, create more personalized and memorable experiences for audiences, and foster positive e-WOM to increase movie ticket purchases.

Abstract

The cosmetics industry in Indonesia has experienced rapid growth along with increasing consumer awareness of self-care and the expansion of digital platforms. This study aims to examine the effect of social media marketing, price discount, and product quality on purchase intention toward the Mad For Makeup brand. A quantitative approach was employed using survey data collected from 162 respondents who are beauty enthusiasts in West Java and have been exposed to Mad For Makeup’s social media content. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS 31, including validity, reliability, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing. The results indicate that all three independent variables have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention. Among them, product quality is the most dominant factor influencing purchase intention, followed by price discount and social media marketing. These findings suggest that while digital marketing activities and promotional strategies contribute to consumer interest, product quality remains the key determinant in shaping purchase intention in the cosmetics industry. The study provides practical implications for cosmetic brands to strengthen product quality while maintaining effective social media engagement and competitive pricing strategies.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of profitability and liquidity on Sustainability disclosure and investigates the moderating role of market ratio in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2024–2026 period. Increasing global attention to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues has encouraged companies to improve transparency through Sustainability disclosure; however, the level of disclosure varies across companies. This research employs a quantitative explanatory approach using secondary data obtained from annual financial reports, Sustainability/ESG reports, and stock price data. The sample consists of 50 manufacturing companies selected through purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS version 26. The results indicate that profitability and liquidity have a positive and significant effect on Sustainability disclosure. Furthermore, market ratio is proven to moderate the relationship between profitability and liquidity toward Sustainability disclosure by strengthening these relationships. The findings suggest that companies with stronger financial performance and favorable market valuation tend to disclose Sustainability information more comprehensively. This study contributes to the development of Sustainability reporting literature and provides practical implications for companies and investors in assessing corporate Sustainability performance.
