Abstract

Identification process u Sectors in an area must be carried out to develop economic development planning. This study discusses changes and changes in the economic sector in  North Sumatra Province and the causal relationship between sectors in the economy in North Sumatra Province. Research Objectives To understand and analyze changes and distribution of the North Sumatra sector and analyze the relationships between sectors in the economy in North Sumatra Province. The method used in this study is shift share analysis and estimation with the Granger Causality. By using shift share analysis in aggregate, there is an increase in the level of economic output during 2011 - 2015 and largely due to economic growth at the national level, while affecting the effects of the industrial / sectoral mix (proportionate part) on North Sumatra's economic growth which has a negative impact . estimation results with the Granger Causality note that the sector and tertiary sectors affect the primary sector, the tertiary sector affects the secondary sector and is not related to the causality relationship between the primary sector, the secondary sector and the tertiary sector

Abstract

Pengembangan SDM baik yang bekerja di sektor publik maupun sektor swasta, perlu dilakukan secara terencana dan berkesinambungan. Strategi untuk mengembangkan SDM yang dikenal dengan manajemen organisasi, harus fleksibel dalam menerima gagasan-gagasan baru meskipun saat ini kurang sesuai dan dapat melakukan beberapa reformasi secara fundamental terhadap praktik dan kebijakan konfensional. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh pengalaman kerja terhadap produktivitas karyawan PT. ADIRA FINANCE Tebing Tinggi. Data yang dipakai yaitu data kuantitatif yang berbentuk angka atau bilangan. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, kuesioner dan studi literature. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 45 orang dengan metode sensus. Hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana dimana pengalaman kerja sebagai variable independen dan produktivitas kerja karyawan sebagai variable dependen. Nilai thitung >  ttabel yaitu 2,777 > 1,679 dan nilai signifikan untuk pengalaman kerja sebesar 0,008 < alpha 0.05, sehingga variabel pengalaman kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produktivitas dengan demikian maka hipotesis diterima

Abstract

In determining the marketing strategy of a business requires the right tools/methods, one of which is using a SWOT analysis. SWOT analysis is an analysis of four elements consisting of strengths, weaknesses from the internal environment, opportunities and threats from the external environment. This study aims to determine the SWOT analysis strategy in increasing competitiveness at Lim's Cafe and Resto Tebing Tinggi. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with data obtained from both field data and literature processed through three stages, namely exposure of data based on the systematics that have been described (display), selecting and sorting data relevant to the discussion (reduction) and drawing conclusions (conclusion). ). The method used is Triangulation, namely Triangulation of Sources, Techniques and Theory. The results of the study, the internal factors of Lim's Cafe and Resto Tebing Tinggi have a value of 3.35 indicating the company's strategy in utilizing strengths and minimizing weaknesses is above average and internal conditions at this company tend to be strong and external factors of Lim's Cafe and Resto Tebing Tinggi have the value of 2.60 indicates the company's strategy in taking advantage of external opportunities and avoiding threats that will affect the company is above average and external conditions in this company tend to be strong. From the results of the comparison of the internal and external sectors, the company's ability to compete is in an aggressive growth strategy position, which is to make optimal use of the strengths and opportunities it has.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of competence, and career development, on job satisfaction with organizational commitment as an intervening variable at Pt. Hevea Indonesia's Dolok Masihul. This type of research is explanatory research that explains the causal relationship between variables through hypothesis testing. This study used a sample of 42 respondents. Sampling used purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire which was then processed with SPSS 25.00. Based on the results of research that has been carried out by researchers, it can be concluded that competence has no effect on organizational commitment, career development does affect organizational commitment, competence affects job satisfaction, career development affects job satisfaction, organizational commitment does not affect job satisfaction, Based on the results of the indirect effect of 0.0236 < direct effect of 0.475, it can be said that the sixth hypothesis is rejected, which means organizational commitment does not mediate the relationship between competence (X1) on job satisfaction , Based on the results of the indirect effect of 0.0361 < the direct effect of 0.427, it can be said that the seventh hypothesis is rejected, which means that organizational commitment does not mediate career development on job satisfaction .

Abstract

Study this aim to find out how influence from Intrinsic Motivation and Extrinsic Motivation for Interest in Entrepreneurship in the SPP (Women's Savings and Loans) Group . This research is a research quantitative descriptive. Data used are primary data. Methods of data analysis in research _ this using the s analysis method multiple linear regression to get comprehensive picture about the influence between the variables Intrinsic Motivation and Extrinsic Motivation Against Entrepreneurial Interest with using SPSS 17 for Windows. The results of the hypotheses test show that that : Intrinsic Motivation take effect positive and significant to Entrepreneurial Interest . Meanwhile, this study failed to prove the second hypothesis. In this case, Extrinsic Motivation was found to have no significant effect on Entrepreneurial Interest .

Abstract

Currently, many MSMEs are struggling to develop even though they are the backbone of the Indonesian economy. On the other hand, improving the sustainable financial performance of MSMEs is believed to be one of the main keys for MSMEs to upgrade and survive. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of e-commerce and human resource quality on the financial performance of MSMEs. This research was conducted on 38,343 MSME players registered in the SIMDAKOP UMKM application in Medan City in 2022. The research sample amounted to 100 people selected using simple random sampling technique. The type of data used is primary data. The data was collected using a questionnaire distributed to selected respondents. The research data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis method with SPSS 26 software. The results of the analysis show that e-commerce has a positive and significant effect on financial performance of MSMEs. HR quality also has a positive and significant effect on financial performance of MSMEs. E-commerce and HR quality simultaneously have a significant effect on the financial performance of MSMEs. The implication of this research is a guideline for MSMEs in making business strategy decisions to ensure sustainable financial performance of MSMEs, which will help MSMEs to upgrade and survive in competition.

Abstract

Gender inequality in education persists in Indonesia, as reflected in the differences in the Literacy Rate (AMH) between males and females. Therefore, this study aims to determine the influence of poverty and income distribution inequality on gender inequality in education in Indonesia, both partially and simultaneously. The study was conducted in 34 provinces in Indonesia. The data used were secondary data, including the poverty rate, the Gini ratio, and the Average Years of Schooling (RLS) in 2022. This research data was accessed online from the website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) at https://www.bps.go.id/id. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that income distribution inequality has a positive and significant impact on gender inequality in education in Indonesia. Meanwhile, poverty has a positive but not significant impact on gender inequality in education in Indonesia. Education and income distribution inequality simultaneously have a significant impact on gender inequality in education in Indonesia. The findings of this study have implications for policy formulation to achieve fair and equal human development.

Abstract

Students at SMK EL-AMIN belong to the Generation Z, where many of them have already started their own businesses. However, some students running these businesses have not fully utilized social media, particularly Instagram, as a promotional tool. Therefore, a community service activity in the form of socialization was conducted for SMK EL-AMIN students in Cabangbungin sub-district, Bekasi regency, West Java. The aim of this socialization activity is to enhance the understanding and knowledge of SMK EL-AMIN students regarding the benefits of copywriting on Instagram in boosting business sales. The socialization activity was attended by 36 participants. The stages of the community service activity include preparation, implementation, and evaluation. After participating in the community service activity, the participants' awareness and knowledge of the benefits of copywriting in increasing business sales improved. Participants also gained insights into creative copywriting tips for business promotion. The socialization activity had a significant impact on increasing the awareness and knowledge of participants.

Abstract

This community service activity carried out by lecturers and students aims to improve the understanding of hard skills and soft skills of SMK Al Ansori students in preparation for the world of work. In the era of globalization and rapid technological development, a balanced competency between technical skills (hard skills) and interpersonal skills (soft skills) is very important. This activity consists of a series of workshops, trainings, and simulations designed to provide students with hands-on experience in skills development relevant to industry demands. Through an interactive approach, students will be trained in various aspects, such as effective communication, teamwork, time management, as well as technical skills according to their majors. In addition, this activity also involves discussions with professionals in the field to provide insight into the world of work and the challenges faced. The expected outcome of this activity is an increase in students' confidence, a better understanding of the importance of the combination of hard and soft skills, and their readiness to enter the competitive world of work. Thus, this activity is expected to contribute to improving the quality of SMK Al Ansori graduates in facing future career challenges.

Abstract

Financial management is a field of management related to planning, examining, controlling, managing and storing activities carried out by individuals, organizations or companies. The importance of understanding financial management strategies well is not only for workers who already have income, but also for students who will one day enter the workforce and will have their own income. Community service activities with the theme "Financial Management Strategies for Students" carried out at SMK Bina Patriot located in Bekasi were carried out through a seminar method by presenting speakers from lecturers and students. This activity was attended by class XII participants as many as 45 participants. With this seminar, it is hoped that students can understand the importance of planning, managing, and investing their money wisely so as to avoid financial problems in the future. Based on the results of a survey conducted as feedback on this activity, it can be seen that 64.3% of participants stated that this seminar was very useful
