Abstract

The development of inclusive tourism in Indonesia is crucial because it aims to ensure that everyone, including people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups, has equal opportunities in tourism activities. This study aims to explore the role of communities empowering women with disabilities in the development of inclusive tourism. This study used qualitative methods through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation, involving informants from the women with disabilities community, tourism group, MSMEs, regional officials, and the local community. The results show that the women with disabilities community plays a strategic role in realizing sustainable inclusive tourism. Member participation increases self-confidence, expands social networks, and provides additional income for community members. Furthermore, the implementation of inclusive tourism has positive impacts on the community, such as increased economic activity, preservation of local culture, and strengthening environmental awareness. However, challenges remain, including strengthening government and community support, improving accessible infrastructure, expanding training programs, and strengthening cross-stakeholder collaboration to create truly inclusive and competitive tourism destinations.

Abstract

Self-love is often understood as an individual psychological process, yet in collectivist cultures it is profoundly shaped by social and cultural expectations. This study explores how Javanese women experience and express self-love within the framework of traditional Javanese values. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, in-depth interviews were conducted with three Javanese women aged 23–29 years living in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The findings reveal that self-love manifests primarily through filial devotion to parents, freedom of choice exercised within cultural boundaries, and conscious self-care and personal development. Key supporting factors include family encouragement, positive social relationships, an attitude of sincere acceptance, and healthy self-esteem. However, patriarchal norms, age hierarchy, and fear of social judgment remain significant barriers to fuller expression of self-love. The study concludes that self-love among Javanese women is essentially relational and context-bound, requiring a delicate balance between personal well-being and cultural obligations. These insights highlight the importance of understanding self-love as a culturally embedded phenomenon rather than a universal individual trait.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the growing presence of career women in Ternate City who continue to play a central role in fostering children’s education at home. It aims to examine how time management strategies, communication patterns, and supporting and inhibiting factors influence the effectiveness of career women’s educational roles within the family. Employing a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and direct observations. The findings reveal that career women implement time management based on planning, organizing, directing, and controlling to balance work responsibilities and children’s education. Strategies include waking up early, distributing domestic tasks, accompanying children during evening learning activities, and utilizing supplementary tutoring. Communication patterns emphasizing open dialogue, supported by technology, help maintain emotional closeness and monitor children’s learning despite limited maternal time. Key supporting factors include the involvement of husbands, extended families, professional communities, and technological resources, while dual-role burdens, psychological pressures, and gender-based stigma act as significant barriers affecting children’s educational quality. The study emphasizes the need to strengthen family support systems, promote equitable domestic workload distribution, and enhance social awareness to reduce gender stereotypes.

Abstract

The digital transformation in educational institutions demands a more effective, well-documented, and technology-adaptive model of instructional supervision. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Learning Management System (LMS)-based academic supervision and its impact on teacher performance and instructional quality. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis involving the principal, vice principal for curriculum, and teachers. The findings reveal that LMS-based supervision is systematically implemented through digital scheduling, instructional document uploads, classroom recording submissions, and direct feedback via LMS features. Digital supervision significantly enhances teacher discipline, administrative consistency, digital competence, and the quality of instructional planning. LMS also accelerates the feedback cycle and strengthens reflective teaching practices. However, several challenges emerge, including unstable internet connectivity, teacher psychological pressure, and difficulties in digital adaptation. LMS-based supervision positively contributes to instructional quality and supports school quality management. This study highlights the importance of integrating digital supervision into teacher professional development, particularly in vocational education settings.

Abstract

Religious education plays a crucial role in shaping students’ values, habits, and spiritual discipline from an early age. This study aims to describe the implementation of the religious development program for students and analyze the effectiveness of habit-forming strategies in shaping students’ religious character. The research approach uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the main activities of the religious program include Duha prayers every Tuesday-Friday, daily congregational Zuhr prayers, daily donations, memorization of the Qur’an, and Night for Building Faith and Piety activities. The implementation of the program is supported by a habitual approach combined with the integration of religious values into all subjects and a character assessment system based on the observation of students’ religious behavior. The support of the school environment and parental involvement are important factors in the sustainability of the program. Analysis based on Glock and Stark’s theory shows that this program covers all dimensions of religious diversity, namely ideology, ritual, experience, intellectual, and consequential. Thus, the development of religious diversity is effective in shaping students’ religious attitudes, spiritual discipline, and social character.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the demand for changes in educational policy through the Merdeka Curriculum, which encourages the development of an adaptive, relevant, and Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum in madrasah and schools. The purpose of this study is to systematically examine various research results related to the development of the PAI curriculum and its relationship to the Merdeka Curriculum policy and the direction of development based on Islamic values. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review by combining thematic qualitative analysis and bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer. Data searches were conducted through the Publish or Perish application with four main keywords and a limit of 20 articles per keyword, resulting in 80 initial articles which were then selected using the PRISMA stage until 20 relevant articles remained. The research findings show that the theme of PAI curriculum development is dominated by the keywords curriculum development, Islamic education, PAI, Merdeka curriculum, education, and Islam, with curriculum development as the highest network center. In conclusion, the development of the PAI curriculum demonstrates a paradigm transformation that is adaptive to national policy, responsive to digitalization, and rooted in Islamic values.

Abstract

The continuous increase in carbon emissions in Indonesia over the past three decades has prompted the need for effective policy instruments to mitigate the impact of global warming. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the carbon tax in Indonesia and its relationship to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The method used is descriptive qualitative with a public policy study approach through analysis of documents, regulations, and official national and international reports. The results show that the energy sector, especially coal-fired power plants, is the largest contributor to emissions, making it the initial target for the implementation of a carbon tax starting in 2022 at a rate of IDR 30/kg CO₂e through a cap and tax mechanism. This policy has the potential to reduce emissions while increasing fiscal revenue to support the energy transition, green development, and social protection. However, its effectiveness is still influenced by challenges such as limited sector coverage, industry readiness, and regulatory strengthening.

Abstract

Sandy soil, low productivity, poor crop management, and limited marketing opportunities are the main challenges faced by soybean farmers in Jenetaesa Village, Maros Regency. The Langkasa and Langkasa Baru farmer groups collaborated with the team from Paulus Christian University of Indonesia to address these issues through a community service program. The program aimed to empower farmers by introducing sustainable soybean cultivation practices and innovations to support food diversification and better use of rainfed land during the dry season. The methods included socialization, practical training, field demonstrations, and ongoing mentoring. Farmers learned composting techniques using soybean waste, operating compost shredders and soybean threshers, the benefits of superior seeds, proper planting timing, and basic digital marketing to reach wider markets. The results showed increased farmer knowledge and skills in managing sandy soil, reducing post-harvest losses, and applying sustainable practices. Farmers began using compost to improve soil fertility, adopted mechanical threshers to minimize seed waste, planted superior varieties, and started exploring online marketplaces. The introduction of appropriate low-cost technologies proved effective in more productively utilizing sandy rainfed fields. The program not only enhanced soybean production and marketing but also contributed to household food security and economic improvement for the farming community.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe strategies used by schools to develop students’ religiosity through religious culture, habituation, teacher modeling, and collaboration with families and communities. This research employed a qualitative approach with a library research design, analyzing accredited SINTA journal articles, academic books, and related studies. The results indicate that the development of students’ religiosity in schools is implemented through five main approaches. Religiosity is fostered through daily worship habituation, including congregational prayer, Qur’an recitation, voluntary fasting, and morning charity activities. Second, teachers and principals play a central role by serving as moral and spiritual role models for students. Schools create a religious environment by cultivating the 5S culture and displaying religious symbols. The implementation of innovative religious programs and digital-based learning supports students’ spiritual development in response to contemporary educational demands. The development of students’ religiosity is strengthened through collaboration among schools, families, and communities as part of the tri-center of education. The findings confirm that the development of students’ religiosity is not limited to formal Islamic education, but also requires an integrated and sustainable religious ecosystem that fosters faith, morality, and spiritual integrity among students.

Abstract

Stock price movements represent market responses to corporate governance and financial policy decisions. This study analyzes the factors influencing stock prices in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2022–2024 period. The variables examined include managerial ownership, institutional ownership, dividend payout ratio, and debt-to-equity ratio. This research adopts a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from audited annual reports and financial statements. The sample was determined through purposive sampling, consisting of manufacturing firms that operated consecutively for three years, reported financial statements in IDR, distributed dividends, and did not experience consecutive losses. Using these criteria, 20 companies were selected, resulting in 60 firm-year observations. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling to examine the direct effects of the independent variables on stock prices. The results indicate that managerial ownership, institutional ownership, DPR, and DER significantly influence stock prices. Organizational and institutional ownership enhance investor confidence, dividend policy serves as a positive signal of firm performance, and capital structure affects investors’ perceptions of risk. These findings provide implications for investors and corporate management in investment decision-making. However, this study is limited to a specific sample and period and does not include mediating or moderating variables.
