Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of economic, environmental, social and governance performance on companies with financial performance as a mediating variable. This study took a sample of 10 companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, which were published in financial reports from 2017-2022. This research analysis method using path analysis. The results of the study show that economic performance, environmental performance, social performance and governance performance have no effect on firm value. Financial performance has no effect on company value both before Covid-19 and after Covid-19. Before Covid-19 economic performance had an effect on company value, but after Covid-19 economic performance had no effect on company value. Before and after Covid-19 environmental performance did not affect company value Before Covid-19 social performance had an effect on company value, but after Covid-19 social performance had no effect on company value. Before and after Covid-19, governance performance did not affect company value. Economic performance, environmental performance, social performance, and governance performance did not directly affect company value through financial performance, both before Covid-19 and after Covid-19.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the influence of Classroom Action Research and Innovation on Incentives, with Competence serving as the mediating variable. The variables investigated in the research are Classroom Action Research, Innovation, Competence, and Teacher Professionalism. The data collection method employed was a survey conducted through the distribution of questionnaires. The analysis was conducted using Smart PLS 3.2.8 software, specifically utilizing Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis. The research findings is a) Classroom Action Research has a positive and significant impact on teacher professionalism, b) Innovation has a positive and significant effect on teacher professionalism, c) Competence shows a positive and significant association with teacher professionalism, d) Classroom Action Research has a positive and significant effect on teacher professionalism through Competence, e) Innovation has a positive and significant effect on teacher professionalism through Competence. Based on these results, it is recommended that teachers at Mandailing Natal Regency Elementary School prioritize and enhance the influence of Classroom Action Research, Innovation, and Competence on Teacher Professionalism. This will contribute to the overall improvement of teacher professionalism in the school. By emphasizing the importance of Classroom Action Research and Innovation, teachers can enhance their professional development and contribute to the advancement of education quality.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effectproduct quality, price and e-wom on consumer purchasing decisions after the Covid-19 pandemic with trust as a mediating variable for Solo meatball consumers in the city of Padang. The population is all consumers of Solo meatballs in the city of Padang. Sampling by purposive sampling method.The sample criteria is that the respondent has visited, bought and eaten at least once at Bakso Solo stalls in Padang City. The number of samples in the study was 270 respondents. Test the hypothesis using statistical analysis using Smart PLS.3.3. The results of the study show that product quality, price and e-WOM have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. product quality, price and e-wom have a significant positive effect on trust. Trust influences purchasing decisions. And trust can be a mediating variable between product quality, price and e-WOM on purchasing decisions in a significantly positive way.

Abstract

To be able to compete and survive in all conditions, every company pays great attention to the maintenance of human resources as a company effort to obtain an effective strategy that aims to support the company's success in achieving its goals. This research was conducted to determine the effect of implementing total quality management (TQM) on innovation performance through knowledge sharing as an intervening variable at Auto 2000 Soekarno Hatta 145 Bandung. This research uses a quantitative method with a descriptive-causality research type. As for sampling, it was carried out using the saturated sampling technique method, with a total of 70 respondents. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive analysis and the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) assisted by the Smart PLS 3.0 analysis tool. The results of this research indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between total quality management (TQM) and innovation performance, total quality management (TQM) and knowledge sharing, knowledge sharing and innovation performance, as well as an indirect relationship between total quality management (TQM) on innovation performance through knowledge sharing. So that in an effort to improve employee innovation performance, the application of total quality management (TQM) and knowledge sharing needs to be evaluated and improved at Auto 2000 Soekarno Hatta 145 Bandung.

Abstract

The terms flexible working space and flexible working time have become popular recently after the occurrence of the COVID-19 pandemic and the emergence of technology startup companies that adopt a new work model where work arrangements are flexible in terms of both place (Flexible Working Space) and time (Flexible Working Time). However, there are concerns from management regarding the decline in employee performance if these work arrangements are adopted, due to a decrease in team collaboration effectiveness caused by separate workspaces (flexispace). This article aims to examine the impact of Flexible Working Space and Flexible Working Time on team performance through team collaboration in software development companies in Indonesia and contribute by providing findings on the impact of flexible work arrangements in terms of place and time that can be useful for companies that have or will implement flexible work systems and require information regarding the impact of such work arrangements. The population consists of team leads/managers from across Indonesia who are part of various software developer communities. Data was collected using convenience sampling technique through a questionnaire. The number of samples used was 97. The data analysis method used is PLS-SEM with the assistance of SmartPLS software.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine and analyze the role of psychological empowerment as a mediator in the influence of support for innovation and leader-member exchange on innovative work behavior among employees of Bank Nagari in Padang City. The population for this study consisted of all Marketing and IT employees of Bank Nagari in Padang City, totaling 101 individuals. The sample was selected using Isaac and Michael's sampling method, resulting in a sample size of 78 individuals. The analytical methods employed in this study were descriptive statistical analysis and factor description analysis using SmartPLS 4.0 software. The findings of the study indicate that support for innovation does not have a significant influence on employees' innovative work behavior. However, support for innovation has a positive and significant impact on employees' psychological empowerment. Furthermore, leader-member exchange does not have a significant influence on employees' innovative work behavior, but it does have a positive and significant impact on employees' psychological empowerment. Psychological empowerment, in turn, has a positive and significant influence on employees' innovative work behavior. Additionally, psychological empowerment mediates the relationship between support for innovation and employees' innovative work behavior, as well as the relationship between leader-member exchange and employees' innovative work behavior at Bank Nagari in Padang City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the recruitment and selection process on project employee performance in the nurse function at Klinik Pertamedika IHC. This research will focus on evaluating the effectiveness of the current recruitment and selection process in identifying and hiring qualified project employees. The research will also examine the impact of these processes on the performance of project employees in the nursing function. This research will utilise a qualitative method approach. The research will involve in-depth interviews with key stakeholders and analysis of performance data. This study adopts a qualitative research approach with a descriptive nature. It focuses on the recruitment and selection process of employees and their impact on performance within Klinik Pertamedika IHC. The research was conducted at Klinik Pertamedika IHC from February to May 2023, and the data collection process involved both offline and online interviews. The findings from this research will provide insights into the effectiveness of the recruitment and selection process in the nursing function and inform recommendations for improving this process to enhance project employee performance.

Abstract

This study explores the factors influencing the provision of incentives for civil servants in the Cirebon Local Government. The research adopts a quantitative research design and utilizes survey questionnaires to collect data from a representative sample of 121 civil servants. The variables examined in the study include organizational justice, competence, and leadership effectiveness. The findings indicate that organizational justice significantly influences the provision of incentives, highlighting the importance of a fair and equitable work environment. Competence also emerges as a crucial factor, emphasizing the need for employees to possess the necessary skills and abilities to excel in their roles. Furthermore, effective leadership is found to have a positive impact on incentive provision, underscoring the significance of capable and motivating leaders. The results of this study contribute to the understanding of incentive systems in the Cirebon Local Government and provide insights for policymakers and human resource managers. By considering the factors of organizational justice, competence, and leadership effectiveness, the government can design and implement effective incentive programs that enhance employee motivation, satisfaction, and performance.

Abstract

Sumatra Island is the third largest island in Indonesia which has extraordinary natural resource potential. Sumatra Island has 10 provinces which are the islands with the most provinces in Indonesia. Each province has different resources and geographical conditions so that inequality occurs with an uneven economy. This study aims to identify leading sectors and prospective sectors in each province in Sumatra. The analysis was carried out on economic inequality between provinces in Sumatra. This study uses the Location Quotient (LQ), Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ) and Williamson Index (WI) approaches. The results showed that 10 provinces in the Sumatra region had 1 province experiencing high category inequality, 4 provinces experiencing medium category inequality, and 5 provinces experiencing low category inequality. In the LQ analysis it is known that the leading sector for the province in the Sumatra region is the agricultural sector; Forestry and Fisheries; Water Procurement; Waste disposal; Waste Management; Waste and Remediation; and Mining and Quarrying Sector. In the DLQ analysis it is known that each economic sector has prospects for development in the future. The sectors to be developed are Electricity and Gas Procurement; Wholesale and Retail Trade; and Car and Motorcycle Workshop. So that this research can be used as material for consideration and reference for local governments in making policies and synergizing in development in Sumatra.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the influence of organizational culture, emotional intelligence, and organizational learning on employee competence in the government of Gorontalo City. Data were collected from a sample of 134 government employees, and hypothesis testing was conducted to analyze the significance of the variables. The results indicated that all three factors, namely organizational culture, emotional intelligence, and organizational learning, significantly and positively influenced employee competence. The findings highlighted the importance of fostering a positive and inclusive organizational culture that motivates employees to enhance their competence. Emotional intelligence emerged as a crucial factor in self-motivation, resilience, and empathy, which contributed to improved competence. Additionally, organizational learning played a significant role in supporting continuous professional growth and the development of job-relevant competencies. The analysis of R-Square revealed that organizational culture, emotional intelligence, and organizational learning explained 73.8% of the variance in employee competence. However, it is important to acknowledge that other unexplored factors may also influence competence. These findings have important implications for the government of Gorontalo City. By prioritizing a positive organizational culture, nurturing emotional intelligence, and promoting organizational learning, the government can enhance employee competence, overall performance, and service delivery to the community. Future research should consider investigating additional factors to gain a more comprehensive understanding of competence in the government context. Implementing interventions and strategies to strengthen organizational culture, enhance emotional intelligence, and support continuous learning can further improve employee competence and contribute to the success of the government of Gorontalo City.
