Abstract

Pancasila, as the foundation of the Indonesian state, has an important role in building tolerance, especially among students. In a multicultural society, tolerance is the main key to creating harmony and productive diversity. The values of Pancasila, such as social justice and unity, can be applied in daily life to strengthen mutual respect between individuals from various religious, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. This research uses the literature study method to analyze the implementation of Pancasila values in building tolerance among university students. The results show that the understanding and application of Pancasila values can increase students' awareness of the importance of tolerance in maintaining social harmony. Thus, Pancasila not only functions as an ideological foundation, but also as a guideline in building a strong attitude of tolerance among the younger generation.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low activity, cooperation skills, critical thinking, and student learning outcomes. This is due to one-way learning, lack of student activeness, and monotonous learning. The effort to overcome it using the CANGKAL model and WORDWALL media. This study aims to describe teacher activities, analyse the improvement of student activities, cooperation skills, critical thinking, and learning outcomes. This research is a PTK with the subject of fifth grade students of SDN Basirih 1 Banjarmasin, semester II of the 2023/2024 school year. The results showed significant improvement in all aspects, so it is recommended to use this model to improve the quality of learning.

Abstract

This research identifies the low activity and critical thinking skills of students in IPAS learning, caused by methods that are less focused on students and monotonous learning. To overcome this problem, the MEANING GREAT learning model was applied. The aim was to describe the improvement of learning quality, student activity, as well as critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes. This research used the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method with the subject of 21 fourth grade students of SDN Kebun Bunga 4 Banjarmasin, conducted in three meetings. Data were collected through qualitative observation and quantitative written tests. The results showed an increase in teacher activity from a score of 33 to 39, student activity from 52% to 90%, critical thinking skills from 48% to 90%, and the completeness of student learning outcomes from 76% to 90%. The MEANING GREAT model proved effective in improving the quality of learning and can be an alternative for teachers to improve students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Dengan adanya kemajuan teknologi digital yang pesat dan dampak globalisasi yang terus meningkat, studi ini mencoba untuk menyelidiki kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh generasi milenial Indonesia dalam mempraktikkan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memeriksa secara menyeluruh bagaimana globalisasi dan revolusi digital berdampak pada pemahaman dan penerapan cita-cita Pancasila oleh generasi milenial di berbagai bidang sosial dan politik. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik kualitatif deskriptif untuk menyelidiki bagaimana pandangan, pengalaman, dan sikap generasi milenial terhadap sila-sila Pancasila. Temuan-temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kesenjangan yang cukup besar antara gaya hidup digital dan ekspektasi globalisasi. Kesenjangan ini terutama terlihat pada bagaimana generasi milenial menginterpretasikan ide-ide dasar Pancasila, termasuk gotong royong, keadilan sosial, dan toleransi, yang sering kali dikalahkan oleh konsumerisme dan individualisme yang lebih lazim di ranah digital. Studi ini juga menunjukkan bahwa generasi milenial mulai memasukkan cita-cita Pancasila dengan cara-cara baru yang sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman, yang menunjukkan adanya kemungkinan adaptasi yang positif. Hal ini mencakup penggunaan ide-ide dalam gerakan sosial berbasis digital yang memajukan demokrasi, keadilan, dan solidaritas, serta menggunakan teknologi untuk menyebarkan ajaran Pancasila secara lebih luas. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menunjukkan betapa sulitnya menjaga nilai-nilai Pancasila tetap relevan di tengah arus globalisasi dan teknologi yang berkembang pesat.

Abstract

Korupsi adalah tantangan multidimensional yang menghambat kemajuan bangsa, bertentangan dengan prinsip keadilan sosial dalam Pancasila. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak sosialisasi antikorupsi terhadap pemahaman siswa kelas 9 SMP Al-Afif Pekanbaru. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan sosialisasi berkontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran siswa terhadap bahaya korupsi. Integrasi nilai Pancasila dalam pendidikan dinilai penting untuk membentuk karakter generasi muda yang berintegritas.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the self-resilience strategies developed by final semester students in dealing with academic pressure and quarter life crisis. The main focus of this research is to understand how resilience can help reduce the level of anxiety and uncertainty experienced by students during the transition to the professional world. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design, which focuses on the personal experiences of individuals. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with three final semester master's students at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The results showed that the three students experienced significant pressure related to the completion of the final project, parents' expectations to graduate soon, and confusion about the future, especially in the aspects of work and marriage. Each respondent showed different resilience strategies, such as completing tasks little by little, doing tasks casually, and managing time even though they had to stay up late. Social support from friends and family, as well as mental health management through leisure and spiritual activities, were found to play a role in reducing stress. This study emphasizes the importance of social support, mental health management, and self-development as key factors in improving students' resilience in facing academic challenges and future uncertainties.

Abstract

This research is entitled synergy of Al-Qur’an Hadist teachers and parents in student teaching and learning activities at Mts Al-Ikhlas Membang Muda. This research aims to find out what the form of synergy between Al-Qur’an Hadist Teachers and parents is in student teahing and learning activities and the obstacles. This research uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. The data collection technique is observation, interviews, and document study. The data analysis technique involves reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research reveal that 1) the synergy of Al-Qur’an Hadist teachers and parents in improving student learning outcomes at Mts Al-Ikhlas Membang Muda has gone quite well. This is due to good communication via whatshapp.2) The inhibiting factors for the synergy of Al-Qur’an Hadist and parents in improving student learning outcomes at Mts Al-Ikhlas Membang Muda are one of the parents life demands so they rarely come to the madrasah, the attitude of parents who cannot be communicated with due to their busyness, as well as economic factor that do not have an internet quota so they cannot be contacted via whatshapp.

Abstract

There are still issues related to low activity, critical thinking skills, and student learning outcomes in this study. The aim of the research was to describe teacher activities, analyze student activities, critical thinking skills, and learning outcomes. This study employed Classroom Action Research conducted over four meetings. The research was carried out at SDN Kebun Bunga 6 Banjarmasin, involving 21 fifth-grade students during the 2023/2024 academic year. The data collected included both qualitative and quantitative information. The success indicator for learning completeness was set at 80%, with students achieving a minimum score of ≥65. The results indicated that teacher activity received a “Very Good” rating by the fourth meeting. Class-wide student activity reached 95% with a “Very Active” rating at the fourth meeting. Class-wide critical thinking skills scored 90% with a “Very Skilled” rating at the fourth meeting. Student learning outcomes reached 95% class-wide at the fourth meeting. The implication of this research suggests that the implementation of Problem Based Learning, Auditory Intellectually Repetition, and Teams Games Tournament models can enhance student activity, critical thinking skills, and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Desain batik Incung merupakan desain batik yang hanya terdapat di wilayah Kerinci (Kabupaten Kerinci dan Kota Sungai Penuh), sehingga menjadikan batik ini sebagai batik khas Kerinci. Motif batik Incung ini merupakan karya unik yang mewakili karakter masyarakat daerah Kerinci itu sendiri. Karakter dan filosofi masyarakat Kerinci tervisualisasikan melalui motif ini, yang mengusung nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang sarat akan nilai-nilai kebaikan. Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang nilai pendidikan karakter yang terkandung dalam motif Batik Incung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu menggunakan data wawancara kepada pencipta motif batik untuk melihat motivasi instrinsik dalam berkarya, observasi terhadap batik dan didukung dengan data pustaka. Analisis data menggunakan pendekatan hermeneutika yaitu menafsirkan ekspresi-ekspresi yang muncul dalam visual batik Incung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa batik Incung mengandung nilai-nilai karakter. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan inspirasi bagi para pendidik dan seniman untuk memasukkan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter ke dalam karya seni, dan pembaca untuk memahami makna filosofis dari batik Incung. Abstract

Abstract: The role of teachers in shaping student character is very important, especially in the aspect of discipline in worship. This article discusses the strategies and roles of teachers in dealing with students who lack discipline in practicing worship in the school environment. Through pedagogical approaches, exemplary behavior, and religious values-based coaching, teachers can be the main motivators in increasing students’ awareness of worship. In addition, the use of personal approach methods, strengthening the religious environment, and cooperation with parents and school parties are supporting factors in forming disciplined worship habits. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to analyze the role of teachers based on experience and observation in the school environment. The results showed that the teacher’s role as a mentor, motivator, and role model has a significant influence in improving students’ worship discipline. Therefore, sustainable efforts in building a culture of worship discipline need to be supported by various parties in order to create a generation that is religious and has character.
