Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of the Theory of Work Adjustment (TWA) in career counseling at SMA Negeri 3 Teluk Meranti, and its impact on students' job fit and performance. TWA is a theory that emphasizes the alignment between an individual's needs and the demands of the work environment. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, which delves into the meanings, experiences, and understandings of the subjects regarding the phenomenon and the overall picture. The implementation of TWA at this school is carried out through assessments of students' interests, values, and abilities, as well as guidance on understanding the demands of the workforce. The counseling process includes the use of psychological assessment tools, job simulations, internship programs, and industry visits to help students identify their potential and choose a suitable career path. Additionally, counselors collaborate with the school and parents to create a supportive ecosystem that facilitates students' job readiness. Ongoing evaluations are conducted to provide feedback and support students in overcoming challenges during the adjustment process. The results of the study indicate that the application of TWA can improve students' job fit, readiness for the workforce and overall performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of psychological foundations in guidance and counseling regarding the meaning, function, and basic psychological principles in counseling guidance services at SD MUHAMMADIYAH. This study uses an interview method with elementary school teachers. Based on the results of research 1). The school uses the Independent Curriculum for Indonesian subjects in grade 1 of elementary school, the school does not have a BK teacher, so the homeroom teacher concurrently serves as a BK teacher. Psychological problems that students often face, especially students with special needs (ADHD). 2) an approach that is carried out through direct communication with parents to understand the student’s condition. Problem identification is carried out through open communication between teachers and students.

Abstract

Abstrak Artikel ini mengkaji peran nilai-nilai agama dalam bimbingan dan konseling (BK) untuk membentuk karakter siswa di SDN Ciangir. Kajian ini berfokus pada pendekatan holistik yang mengintegrasikan ajaran agama dalam menangani masalah perilaku siswa, seperti bullying, sekaligus membangun hubungan sosial yang sehat. Penelitian dilakukan melalui metode wawancara dan observasi, dengan fokus pada penerapan nilai-nilai agama dalam kegiatan pembiasaan, penguatan hubungan sosial, dan penyelesaian konflik antar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai agama memberikan landasan moral dan spiritual yang signifikan, membantu siswa mengelola emosi, memperbaiki perilaku, dan menguatkan identitas religius. Meskipun demikian, terdapat berbagai tantangan dalam pelaksanaan, seperti keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, dukungan keluarga yang tidak merata, dan minimnya fasilitas khusus. Artikel ini menawarkan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas program melalui penguatan kolaborasi antara sekolah, keluarga, dan masyarakat.

Abstract

The development of technology has a significant impact on various aspects of education, one of which is guidance and counseling services (GC). This study aims to explore how technology can assist in the implementation of GC services in elementary schools (SD), with a focus on the benefits, challenges, and proposed solutions. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth face-to-face interviews with two elementary school class teachers. The interview guide was developed with open-ended questions, allowing the informants to freely share their experiences. Additionally, this study includes a literature review from books, journals, articles, and other relevant scholarly sources. The interview results were analyzed descriptively and systematically to provide a deep understanding of the observed phenomenon. Technology can help counselors deliver more efficient and engaging GC services through digital media, such as applications and online platforms. Moreover, technology also strengthens collaboration between teachers, parents, and external parties. However, challenges include limited technological infrastructure in schools and a lack of teacher training. Therefore, strategic steps are needed to optimize the role of technology in GC services at the elementary school level. This study provides insights into the importance of technology in improving the quality of GC services in the digital age.

Abstract

This article looks at how Mugarsari Elementary School teachers handle the sociocultural challenges that their students confront. Investigating the sociocultural facets of guidance and counseling practices at Mugarsari Elementary School was the aim of this study. Data for this study was gathered through direct interactions in a classroom setting using a qualitative method. To ascertain how socio-cultural values are utilized to improve student development, descriptive data analysis was carried out, despite the school's lack of guidance and counseling (BK) teachers. The results of the investigation indicate that there is not a BK teacher at Mugarsari Elementary School at the moment. Nonetheless, classroom teachers use the sociocultural values of the community as a guide while performing informal guidance and counseling duties. Classroom teachers employ a culture-based approach to assist pupils in overcoming a variety of social and personal challenges, although in a limited capacity. This study emphasizes the significance of having BK teachers present at the primary school level in order to enhance the effectiveness of guidance and counseling, particularly those rooted on socio-cultural values. The recommendations include training classroom teachers to properly carry out their duties in mentoring pupils and hiring suitable BK personnel.

Abstract

Education is a fundamental aspect of developing quality human resources. Guidance and counseling services play an integral role in addressing not only academic issues but also the personal, social, emotional, and moral development of students. This study aims to analyze the philosophical foundation underlying guidance and counseling policies and programs at SDN 1 Picungremuk, Tasikmalaya. Using a qualitative approach with structured interviews and observations, the study explored how these philosophical foundations are applied in the school environment. The findings highlight the importance of adopting a holistic approach in understanding and addressing students' academic, social, and emotional challenges. The study also emphasizes the collaboration between teachers and parents, the role of Ki Hajar Dewantara’s educational philosophy, and the integration of strategic steps in developing guidance and counseling programs. However, the challenges posed by digitalization require schools to balance the use of technology and the cultivation of social-emotional skills. Moving forward, the presence of professional counselors is recommended to enhance the effectiveness of the guidance and counseling program while allowing teachers to focus on their instructional responsibilities.

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 has brought significant changes to the field of education, demanding innovative and relevant learning approaches. This study examines the optimization of Active Learning as an effective teaching strategy to enhance students' motivation and learning outcomes in the digital era. Through a literature review, the study finds that Active Learning facilitates students' direct involvement in the learning process, developing critical, analytical, and collaborative thinking skills. Methods such as brainstorming, group discussions, and the utilization of web-based technologies have proven to improve learning quality. This study concludes that implementing Active Learning, supported by proper planning, appropriate technique selection, and the use of interactive technologies, can create meaningful, engaging, and adaptive learning experiences to address the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0.

Abstract

Teenage girls' problems are the main problems that can hinder the development of young people's qualities. Therefore, there is a need for religious character formation to describe the formation of female students' religious character and the an-nisa study activities at MAN 2 Cilacap. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data sources consist of primary data sources and secondary data sources. The subjects in this research were class X students at MAN 2 Cilacap. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this research show that the formation of religious character through the An-Nisa study at MAN 2 Cilacap which is attended by young women in class X every Friday coincides with young men carrying out Friday prayers. This An-Nisa study is one of the most effective solutions for building religious character in class women who are not studied in detail in class, for example menstruation, istihadloh, the morals of Muslim women, and the obligation to cover their private parts for Muslim women.

Abstract

Pendidikan formal di sekolah bertujuan untuk mencapai tujuan nasional melalui proses pembelajaran yang kompleks. Kualitas pendidikan berkaitan erat dengan motivasi belajar siswa. Motivasi, sebagai dorongan internal, memengaruhi keberhasilan belajar dan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini, menggunakan metode studi literatur, menganalisis peran motivasi sebagai kunci keberhasilan pembelajaran. Motivasi dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Motivasi intrinsik (dari dalam diri) dianggap lebih penting daripada motivasi ekstrinsik (dari luar). Motivasi berfungsi sebagai pendorong usaha, mengarahkan tindakan, dan membantu siswa memilih perilaku yang mendukung pencapaian tujuan. Kurangnya motivasi dapat menghambat keberhasilan belajar, sementara motivasi yang kuat memandang belajar sebagai peluang untuk berkembang. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan dan pemeliharaan Untuk memaksimalkan proses belajar dan hasil, motivasi belajar sangat penting bagi siswa dan pendidik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi dan tantangan dalam penguatan nilai- nilai Pancasila melalui pendidikan karakter di sekolah pada era globalisasi. Kajian ini menggunakan metode literatur dengan menganalisis 30 jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2020-2024. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai Pancasila memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk kepribadian siswa yang berintegritas, bertanggung jawab, dan berjiwa nasionalis. Implementasi pendidikan karakter dilakukan melalui integrasi nilai-nilai Pancasila ke dalam kurikulum, pembelajaran tematik, serta kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Namun, terdapat sejumlah tantangan yang dihadapi, seperti pengaruh budaya global, kurangnya pemahaman guru terhadap nilai-nilai Pancasila, dan keterbatasan sarana pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan dukungan dari berbagai pihak, termasuk pemerintah, sekolah, dan masyarakat, untuk menciptakan ekosistem pendidikan yang kondusif. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penguatan nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam pendidikan karakter memerlukan pendekatan holistik dan berkelanjutan guna menghadapi tantangan era globalisasi.
