Abstract

Introduction: Problems related to the dissatisfaction of specialist doctors, especially those who do not perform surgical procedures, in obtaining medical services is caused by the medical service distribution system that is implemented that does not accommodate and appreciate the performance of the specialist. This dissatisfaction has a very significant impact on the quality of services provided by expert doctors and general practitioners. The job satisfaction felt by a doctor is an important issue because there is a relationship between the services provided such as the continuity of services and the cost of health services Materials and Methods: Data were taken in May 2025 using a questionnaire as an instrument using modified likert scale measurements. The research model used is a structural equation model (SEM) with a partial least squares (PLS-SEM) approach, with a sample of all functional doctors at Sekarwangi Hospital. Results: A total of 66 functional doctors at Sekarwangi Hospital participated in this study. Medical Services had a significant direct influence on Satisfaction with a path coefficient of ? = 0.434, p < .001, and an effect size of f2 of 0.232 (medium category). In contrast, the effect of Medical Services on Motivation (? = 0.308, p = .289) and Performance (total ? = 0.051, p = .686) was not significant, although there were positive indirect effects of Medical Services on Performance (? = 0.199, p = .118), through mediation pathways involving Satisfaction or Motivation. The effect of satisfaction on performance showed a total effect that was close to marginally significant (? = 0.350, p = .058) with an effect size of f2 of 0.102 (small–medium category), although the direct effect (? = 0.334, p = .157) was not significant at the conventional level. The direct effect of Satisfaction on Motivation was also insignificant (? = 0.103, p = .670), with a very small effect size (f2 = 0.010). The direct relationship between Motivation and Performance was also not significant (? = 0.153, p = .607), with a small effect size (f2 = 0.023). Conclusion: Although physicians' perceptions of the Medical Services system have been shown to contribute significantly to job satisfaction, it is not strong enough to directly drive an increase in their motivation and performance.

Abstract

This study analyzes the causes of pending BPJS Kesehatan claims at Melania Bogor Hospital, emphasizing the complex interplay of human resources, document completeness, and operational procedures. The research identifies that a significant factor contributing to pending claims is the limited capacity of the Casemix team, with only one member having received external training in claims coding. Additionally, inaccuracies in medical documentation, such as unclear diagnoses and incomplete supporting documents, hinder the claims process. The absence of a comprehensive hospital information system (SIMRS) for automatic validation further exacerbates the issue. The findings reveal that pending claims not only disrupt the hospital's cash flow but also increase the workload for administrative staff, leading to delays in service provision. This research underscores the need for improved training, enhanced documentation practices, and better integration of digital systems to ensure timely processing of claims and maintain the quality of health services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of liquidity (CR), leverage (DER), profitability (ROA), and sales growth (SG) on stock returns, with Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) as a moderator variable. The research data is panel data from 13 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and have reports related to ESG scores during the 2020-2023 period. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and inferentially. Inferential analysis uses a panel data regression approach, this analysis involves moderating variables into the regression model to test the interaction between independent and moderating variables whether they have a significant influence on the dependent variable.ESG as a moderator variable is used to moderate the independent variable against the dependent variable whether it strengthens or weakens. The results of the model selection test show that the common effect model (CEM) is the best model. The results of the study found that CR, ROA, and SG have a positive and significant effect on stock returns, while DER and ESG do not have a significant effect on stock returns. In addition, ESG does not act as a moderator variable in the relationship between CR, DER, ROA, and SG with stock returns.

Abstract

Improving teachers' professional competence is the main demand in dealing with curriculum changes and educational technology developments. Biology teachers as part of the implementation of science education are required not only to master the teaching materials, but also to be able to manage innovative and student-centered learning. However, the reality is that there are still many teachers who experience obstacles in implementing experiential learning, both due to limited training and supportive learning media. In addition, conventional training that has been attended by teachers is considered less flexible and ineffective to support in-depth mastery of the material. Therefore, an experiential learning cycle-based training model developed through digital platforms is needed, so that it is able to answer the challenge of developing teachers' professional competencies in a sustainable and flexible manner. The research approach used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) research method. The data collection techniques used in this study are interview techniques and declassification analysis. The analysis method used in this research and development is an analysis that is able to support the achievement of the goals of research and development activities, namely a website-based experiential learning cycle training management model. Based on the results of theoretical studies, regulations, and needs analysis in the field, a website-based experiential learning cycle training model has been developed which is packaged in an application called LearnPress, in order to improve the professional competence of teachers in Indonesia. This model is designed in accordance with the concept of experiential learning and teacher competency strengthening policies. The validation results from the material experts showed that the training content was very good in supporting the mastery of biology material, while the validation from the media expert confirmed the feasibility of the display, navigation, and interactivity of the website as a digital learning medium. Effectiveness tests through various stages of scale show that LearnPress is highly effective and contributes positively to improving teachers' professional competence.

Abstract

As sustainability gains momentum worldwide, green-labeled products are flooding the market, including in the baby care segment. However, adoption is not guaranteed among Indonesian Millennials and Gen Z, despite their environmental awareness. This study investigates why Indonesian Millennials and Gen Z still resist green baby care products by examining how functional and psychological barriers shape consumer decisions. A structured online survey of 222 respondents was conducted, and data were analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results reveal that usage, value, and tradition barriers significantly increase resistance, while risk and image barriers do not. Notably, green skepticism strengthens the effect of the value barrier, meaning that when consumers doubt the truth behind “green” claims, their perception of product value weakens, further amplifying resistance. However, green skepticism does not significantly moderate other types of barriers. This study extends Innovation Resistance Theory by incorporating green skepticism as a moderating factor in the context of baby care, a category rarely examined in previous studies. This integration provides new insights into how skepticism toward sustainability claims can interact with innovation barriers in shaping consumer resistance. These findings call for action: Brands must go beyond labels. To win over today’s critical, connected consumers, companies must not only deliver real value and ease of use, but also improve product visibility and accessibility. In addition, addressing habitual buying patterns and building trust through transparent, evidence-based communication are crucial to reducing resistance and supporting adoption of green innovations, especially among young, discerning parents.
