Abstract

The Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy is expected to be able to answer the challenges of higher education in facing the demands of a dynamic world of work. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the MBKM policy in the Indonesian Language Education Study Program at Universitas Islam Nusantara Bandung. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with a policy study design, referring to the POAC managerial function (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling). Data were collected through in-depth interviews, documentation studies, and participatory observations of lecturers, students, and study program managers. The results show that the MBKM policy has been implemented through various programs such as Teaching Campus and student entrepreneurship, but still faces obstacles such as cross-institutional coordination and limited technical understanding among students. Periodic evaluation and outcome-based curriculum adjustments are important strategies in addressing these challenges. This study concludes that the implementation of MBKM shows a positive direction, but still needs institutional strengthening, increased human resource competence, and integrated information system support. The findings are expected to be a reference for stakeholders in formulating higher education policies that are more adaptive and contextual.

The product development followed the ADDIE framework: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects were the teachers at SD PGRI Serui. The outcome of the study is a training e-module titled “Google Workspace for Education Application.” Expert reviews showed the module was rated very good, with average scores of 98.64%, 84.20%, and 80.00%. The module was declared valid and suitable for field testing. In individual and small group trials, the module received high practicality ratings of 85.00% and 89.00%. A large group trial revealed positive participant responses to 31 statements covering five key module criteria. Eighteen statements were rated “strongly agree” and thirteen “agree.” Thus, the module is considered good, engaging, and suitable for use in face-to-face or independent learning.

The data collection techniques used in this study are tests, observations, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques in this study are to determine the standard and mean deviation, normality test (Chi squared) and hypothesis test (t-test). The result of this study is that in the post test hypothesis calculation can be obtained tcount = 1.842 and ttable = 1.711. The tester's criterion is that if the tcount ≥ ttabul, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. If the tcount ≤ the table, then Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. Based on the calculation of the hypothesis test above, it was obtained that the tcount of ≥ ttable (1,842 ≥ 1,711) was rejected and Ha was accepted. In other words, the hypothesis proposed in this study can be accepted as true, meaning "The learning outcomes of grade V students in the learning of IPAS SD Negeri 47 Lubuklinggau after the implementation of the CTL learning model assisted by Media Spinning Wheel are significantly complete.

Abstract

English has long been recognized as the dominant international language in various aspects of global life, from international communication and higher education to mastery of technology and science. The purpose of this study is to explore the role of AI in developing early English language teaching materials and identify its opportunities and challenges in early childhood education. This research method uses a quantitative approach. The sample of this study included 10 teachers at TKIT Model Madani Arrahman Pekanbaru City. The results show that teachers at TKIT Model Madani Arrahman Pekanbaru have sufficient initial knowledge of AI technology, although it is still limited to general use and has not been fully directed at developing teaching materials. AI is considered to play a role in helping teachers create more varied, interesting, and enjoyable English teaching materials for early childhood. However, the implementation of AI still faces technical obstacles, limited resources, and the need to adapt content to the characteristics of early childhood. Thus, AI has great potential in supporting the development of early childhood English teaching materials, but it needs to be supported by training, infrastructure, and strengthening teacher capacity for optimal and contextual implementation.
