Abstract

Mentally retarded students have obstacles in the intelligence aspect, namely they have Mentally retarded students have obstacles in the intelligence aspect, namely they have an IQ level that is more than average. This has an impact on low academic achievement, especially in science subjects regarding body parts and how to care for them. This research aims to improve the learning achievement of mentally retarded students in science lessons, especially body parts and how to care for them using flashcard learning media. This research was carried out at the Melati Ceria Private SLB. This research uses a classroom action research method with two learning cycles. Students with intellectual disabilities in class 1 at SDLB level were the subjects of this research. Test techniques and analysis using simple descriptive statistical analysis are the methods for collecting data in this research. The conclusion of this research shows that there is an increase in science learning achievement using flashcard media for mentally retarded students in class 1 of SLB Swasra Melati Ceria.

Abstract

The research problem is that students are mildly mentally retarded and have poor understanding of the material for calculating multilevel additions. The aim of this research is to improve understanding of compound addition material by storing techniques through the use of number value racks. Class IV students at the Toboali State Special School who have mild intellectual disabilities will benefit from a better understanding of the concept of multiple addition operations. This type of research is called Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle being carried out in three meetings. Each cycle has four interrelated phases: observation, reflection, action implementation, planning phase, and reflection. The research subjects were four fourth grade Toboali State Special School students with mild intellectual disabilities. Data was collected through test and observation methods. Quantitative analysis was carried out on the data, and a table was presented showing student learning outcomes. Based on the results of research carried out in cycle I and cycle II, it shows that the use of number value racks can improve students' understanding of the material of addition in layers using storing techniques.

Abstract

Citizenship education is a compulsory education for citizens, starting from elementary, middle, high school to university or college level. Civic education plays an important role in the process of learning citizens to become smart and good citizens. Differentiated learning is learning that helps students' learning needs. Teachers facilitate students according to their needs, because each individual student has very different characteristics, so they cannot be given the same treatment. In implementing differentiated learning, teachers must prepare learning with a variety of different treatments and actions for each learner. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of differentiated learning in Civics subjects at SMP Negeri 9 Serang City. The method used in this research is to use qualitative methods that are descriptive in nature. Data collection techniques in this study are using interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The results of this study are process differentiation refers to the way teachers invite students to enter into learning activities and discover their knowledge independently in the process. Teachers are required to prepare triggering questions, interesting and challenging materials so that students enjoy the process presented by the teacher. The characteristic of differentiated learning is a conducive learning environment that meets the needs of learners.

Abstract

The phenomenon of polisi cepek has spread to almost every intersection in the city, coinciding with the increasing volume of vehicles, especially in campus areas. Polisi cepek is interpreted as a figure that regulates traffic similar to traffic lights scattered throughout the city. The presence of polisi cepek in Jember City can be observed at busy intersections, such as the intersection of Kaliurang Street and Jawa Street around the University of Jember. James S. Coleman's perspective on rational choice theory serves as the theoretical foundation for observing the social phenomenon of polisi cepek. This research employs a qualitative method with techniques including interviews, field observations, and literature reviews. The aim of the study is to understand the factors that rationalize an individual's choice to work as polisi cepek, beyond economic considerations. The research findings indicate that the motivation for individuals to engage in this profession is not solely based on economic necessities for survival; rather, empathy plays a significant role in the background of this social phenomenon. The humanitarian aspect within individuals serves as a driving force to take action by utilizing the resources at their disposal.

Abstract

The problems that occur are students are not active in learning, students are not used to expressing opinions, and quickly get bored with the material being taught because learning is less varied. This study aims to describe the activities of teachers, students, and learning outcomes. The type of research applied is PTK with a qualitative and quantitative approach carried out for 4 meetings. The subject of the study was class IVA at SDN Jiwa Dalam 4 with 25 children. The results of the study showed that teacher activity at meeting I scored 36 good criteria, reached a score of 45 very good criteria at meeting IV. Student activities at meeting I got 56% activity with the criteria of being quite active and reaching 96% at meeting IV the criteria were very active. The learning outcomes of the first meeting were classically complete 40% and increased to 96% in the fourth meeting. The results of this study can be used as a reference in implementing the learning model. This research can be used as a reference in using learning models that can improve the quality of teacher activities, student activities and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

International cooperation is a form of cooperation carried out by a country with other countries across its territorial borders. The aim of cooperation is to meet the needs of the country. This research is entitled "implementation of strengthening the capacity of cooperation between Indonesia and the United States Agency for International Development (Usaid) in the field of education". This research was carried out with the aim of finding out the relationship between Indonesia and USAID in the field of education. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach literature study research method. This research produces insight into how Indonesia's collaboration with USAID has had a positive impact in the world of education.

Abstract

Technological developments are inevitable, we must be able to balance and keep up with the times. The presence of technology has influenced existing values. The changes that occur in society are increasingly evident, especially in lifestyles and lifestyles, attitudes that are increasingly selfish and pragmatic. In addition, technology in education is a system used to support learning activities to achieve the desired results. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing how the influence of technological advances on the social behavior of elementary school students, this research was also carried out with qualitative methods with literature studies or literature reviews. Abstract

This research aims to find out whether creativity will not appear in students who do not have high motivation, curiosity and imagination. Skills education for students can shape students into more creative children. then the management carried out by child-friendly schools in improving student character. Classroom conditions have a big role in the learning process and outcomes. The classroom environment influences what students learn. analyzing the classroom will allow them to anticipate or explain the problems they are experiencing. Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of material understanding by using QUIZIZZ digital media as a classroom learning evaluation application and improve learning evaluation results. This QUIZIZZ application is also a fun learning application that can build student learning motivation. This research also aims to reveal the weaknesses and advantages of using the QUIZIZZ application. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, namely literature study (literature study) is often referred to as a series of reading activities, as well as collecting and recording research data by searching for articles, journals, books, and news. The results of the study state that the use of QUIZIZZ digital media can improve the understanding of high-grade students' material because, the use of QUIZIZZ at the time of evaluation increases student motivation because students feel challenged to get the best score. In quizzes, a high sense of competition with friends wants to be the fastest and right, and students feel helped in understanding the material by the use of quiz-based knowledge capital. And also as one of the creativity and innovation that is appropriate and developing in the 21st century.

Abstract

This study was conducted to describe how the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model can improve student motivation and learning outcomes in Indonesian learning in class IX SMP IT Darussalam, Tangerang Regency. Project Based Learning (PjBL) is a learning model whose media is to use a project that will be done by students. The form of learning outcomes with this learning model is that students can explore, interpret, extract information independently and conduct assessments. The design of this learning model is used on complex problems needed by students in investigating and understanding them. The implementation of Project-based learning can make students more active and creative in learning activities, so as to encourage student motivation in learning. The steps in implementing the Project Based Learning model begin with determining fundamental questions, preparing project planning, preparing schedules, monitoring, testing results, and finally evaluating learning experiences. The results of research conducted in class IX of SMP IT Darussalam, Tangerang Regency, were obtained from primary data and secondary data. Primary data is data obtained directly from informants. Meanwhile, secondary data includes documentation data, archival records, and other physical devices relevant to the object of study. Based on these two data, positive results were obtained, namely by using the Project Based Learning learning model in Indonesian learning, especially in writing inspirational story texts, the motivation and learning outcomes of Class IX students of SMP IT Darussalam increased. Thus, this research is expected to be used as one of the solutions to problems in schools, especially in Indonesian learning.
