Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between science and religion from the perspective of the philosophy of science. By using library research methods, this study shows that science and religion have significant differences in approaches to knowledge and reality. Science is knowledge obtained through research and experimentation, while religion binds oneself to God and shapes behavior. However, both have similarities in the desire to seek the truth, recognize human limitations, and try to understand the world. They can synergize in a deeper understanding of life and reality, with similarities in their presumptions, methods and concepts. This study has a positive impact on the development of philosophical scholarship, especially in the study of the relationship between science and religion from the perspective of the philosophy of science.

Abstract

Social media is one of the very easy social tools that can have both positive and negative impacts. The impacts that may occur include feeling anxious, overthinking, and even the possibility of addiction, which can make adolescents struggle to control their emotions. If this happens continuously, it can be dangerous for mental health, especially in controlling emotions. This research aims to examine the mental health of students in the Islamic Counseling and Guidance UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta regarding emotional mental health in adolescents. This research uses a qualitative case study method that shows students with low emotional regulation abilities tend to use social media to reduce the pressure they experience, leading to potential addiction if such behavior continues. Students with high emotional regulation tend to avoid social media addiction because they engage in other activities that regulate their emotions effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to explore students perceptions of academic stress in the context of higher education and identify its impact on learning motivation. The focus of the research includes students' responses to academic stress, the strategies they apply, and how these perceptions affect the level of learning motivation. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection through observation and interviews. The theoretical study in this study refers to Lazarus and Folkman's Stress Theory. The research subjects consisted of two informants of 5th semester students of the Islamic Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences. The results showed that academic stress arises from subjective evaluations of situations that exceed resource capacity. Stress triggers involve poor time management, tight assignment deadlines, course difficulty, poor lecturer interaction, and non-academic activities. Subjective evaluations affect stress levels and motivation to learn. Nevertheless, stress management strategies can improve students' well-being and academic performance.

Abstract

The Merdeka Belajar Curriculum is an educational approach introduced in Indonesia to grant students the freedom to determine their learning paths. Its key characteristics include flexibility, student empowerment, the development of 21st-century skills, and holistic assessment. This curriculum is designed to create an inclusive learning environment, support creativity, and adapt to individual needs, thus facilitating more relevant and meaningful learning experiences for students. This approach shifts the traditional paradigm towards more personalized and challenging learning, allowing students to take an active role in their educational journey.

Abstract

Penelitian ini digunakan untuk mengetauhi sejauh mana pola asuh orang tua dalam kesehatan mental yang dilakukan pada pelajar Sekolah Menengah Atas ( SMA). Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode studi pustaka dan wawancara. Dengan jenis penelitian Kualitatif. Data yang diperoleh dari wawancara dan di analisis secara deskriptif. Semakin maju zaman banyak anak-anak yang kesehatan mentalnya terganggung dikarenakan kurangnya kasih sayang dan perhatian dari orang tuanya. Jadi saat ini di butuhkan peran pola asuh orang tua terhadap kesehatan anaknya karena sangat penting, maka dari itu orang tua perlu menerapkan kesehatan mental pada anak sehingga kesehatan mental pada anak anak menjadi baik. Peran pola asuh orang tua ini berbeda-beda dan sangat berpengaruh pada kesehatan mental anak. Dan anak berkebutuhan khusus haruslah memiliki pola asuh yang lebih baik yang dapat diwujudkan memalui penerapan peran pola asuh orang tua yang baik kepada anak. Derajat kesehatan mental anak di prioritaskan dalam perencanaan atau penataan bangunan bangsa. Salah satu penyebab anak menalami kondisi mental yang buruk adalah pola asuh orang tua yang tidak sesuai dengan usia kebutuhan anak.

Abstract

This research discusses the psychological foundation, which is one of the principles in curriculum development, as it influences human behavior and how they learn. The psychological foundation in curriculum development plays a key role in designing educational curricula. In this context, the psychological foundation of the curriculum includes a deep understanding of students' cognitive, emotional, and social development. Articulating learning objectives that align with the stages of psychological development can enhance educational effectiveness. The research method used is library research, a type of qualitative research involving the collection, analysis, processing, and presentation of books, journals, and texts related to the research theme as reference materials in the form of a literature report. The research findings on the psychological foundation of the curriculum reveal two concepts: 1) the psychological foundation of the curriculum includes Developmental Psychology, Learning Psychology, and Social Psychology. 2) The elements of the curriculum foundation encompass Student Development and Curriculum, Learning Psychology, and Curriculum Development.

Abstract

The independent curriculum is the latest innovation in the education system in Indonesia which is designed to provide flexibility and autonomy to schools in developing the learning process according to the needs of students. In its formulation, this curriculum is based on two main pillars, namely the philosophical pillar and the juridical pillar. The philosophical pillar reflects the holistic and humanist goals of education, while the juridical pillar provides the legal framework that governs its implementation. This article aims to examine the relationship between the two pillars and their implications in the implementation of the independent curriculum in schools. The method used is qualitative with literature study. This analysis shows that the integration of philosophical and juridical pillars is a strong basis for creating a curriculum that is responsive to the dynamics of society and the individual needs of students. The Independent Curriculum provides freedom for educators to design and implement learning that suits the needs and potential of students, while still being guided by nationally regulated competency standards. The results of this study show that the Independent Curriculum has a strong philosophical foundation in encouraging student-centered education, while adhering to a juridical framework that ensures uniformity of educational standards throughout Indonesia.

Abstract

PTK is one of the research approaches that is widely used in the world of education. This article aims to examine the characteristics, objectives and benefits of PTK through a literature review. The method used is the library research method, where the author conducts a search for various library sources related to PTK. The results of the study indicate that PTK has unique characteristics, which distinguish it from other types of research, namely the existence of certain actions to improve the teaching and learning process in the classroom. PTK aims to improve the quality of learning and solve practical problems that occur in the classroom. The benefits of PTK include improving the quality of learning, increasing professional competence and increasing understanding of the teaching process.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the use of information technology in improving the quality of learning. The problems encountered include the low use of information technology in lesson planning, document management is still done manually, some teachers have not fully mastered the use of information technology, there are teachers who have not attended training, limited information technology infrastructure. This research uses a qualitative approach by determining informants using purposive sampling techniques. The results of the research show that the use of information technology at Kindergarten Pertiwi III Mulo has been implemented. With indications that, in planning the learning process, appropriate learning approach strategies for early childhood, learning content that is in accordance with the curriculum, and assessments to improve the quality of learning have been implemented using information technology infrastructure, however, improvements still need to be made.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Islamic Religious Education in building a golden generation with superior character. The golden generation is a generation that is able to bring about improvements in the life of the nation to become a dignified, harmonious, and quality nation and a generation that has a greater productive age. This study uses a qualitative method using literature study analysis, which analyzes various literature and relevant sources regarding the role of Islamic Religious Education in building a golden generation with superior character. The results of the study show that Islamic Religious Education has an equally important role in forming a golden generation with superior character, among its roles as a moral and ethical foundation, understanding of Islamic teachings, developing spiritual awareness, forming noble morals, introducing good and bad values, preventing negative behavior, strengthening Islamic identity, developing moral independence, developing social and humanitarian understanding.
