Abstract

In the era of digitalization, this study comprehensively reviews e-government practices, focusing on the European Union member states, with a particular emphasis on Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of public administration digitalization on corruption, utilizing a comparative and correlative research analysis. The study also investigates the clustering of e-government practices in the EU using Gaussian Mixture Models. The methodology employed includes an extensive review of existing literature on e-government maturity models, benchmark frameworks, and national concepts of public administration informatization. Data from authoritative sources such as the Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI), E-Government Benchmark reports, and national reports, including Slovakia's National Concept of Public Administration Informatization, contribute to a robust analysis. Results reveal the nuanced relationship between public administration digitalization and corruption levels in EU member states. Clustering based on Gaussian Mixture Models provides insights into the diverse landscape of e-government practices. Furthermore, the study compares the digitalization progress of Slovakia and the Czech Republic, shedding light on the challenges and successes of these nations in implementing e-government services. In conclusion, the findings underscore the significance of e-government in shaping transparent and efficient public administrations. Recommendations include fostering international collaboration to share best practices and addressing shortcomings in e-government policy implementation. The research implications extend to policymakers, researchers, and practitioners, offering valuable insights for advancing e-government development. This study contributes to the ongoing discourse on e-government, aligning with the global effort towards sustainable development and digital governance. As governments strive to provide citizen-centric digital services, understanding the intricacies of e-government practices becomes imperative for informed decision-making and policy formulation.

Abstract

The Entikong border, as a trade gateway between Indonesia and Malaysia, is a crucial area to analyze regarding the impact of international cooperation in supporting export activities. This research aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the extent to which international cooperation has contributed to export development in the region. Involving a review of bilateral trade agreements, infrastructure development programs, and joint marketing initiatives, this analysis reflects the complex dynamics involving both countries. Infrastructure development cooperation, such as projects in the fields of transportation and border facilities, has had a significant impact on the efficiency of logistics and distribution of export products. Joint export promotion programs and the promotion of superior products are important instruments in diversifying export markets. This analysis evaluates the effectiveness of these initiatives in increasing product visibility in the global market. However, several challenges such as intense global competition and market dynamics need to be overcome to achieve more optimal market diversification. Through case studies, this research highlights the successes and challenges in implementing international cooperation. The results of this analysis provide a comprehensive picture of the impact of international cooperation in the context of exports at the Entikong Border. The policy implications found can be a guide for the government and stakeholders to increase the effectiveness of cooperation and strengthen the role of the Entikong Border as a dynamic trade center between Indonesia and Malaysia. Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of service quality, service procedures and service facilities on community satisfaction with hydrological data services at the Sulawesi II Gorontalo River Regional Office. The multiple linear regression quantitative analysis model is used to analyze the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The research results show that overall service quality, service procedures and service facilities influence public satisfaction, but for service quality the influence is not that significant. This shows that increasing community satisfaction is jointly influenced by service quality, service procedures and service facilities.

Abstract

Most companies prioritize the interests of shareholders, while other parties do not receive special attention. In these conditions, many business world phenomena often ignore environmental and social problems. To support this problem, a concept is needed. This concept is called a sustainability report. The aims of this research is to analyze the influence of financial performances, firm size, and company age on the disclosure of non-financial companies' sustainability reports. This research uses a quantitative data in the form of secondary data: financial reports of companies obtained from the IDX. The sample was selected using purposive sampling method and the sample for this research includes 10 companies. This hypothesis testing uses multiple linear regression tests using SPSS version 26 software. The partial test results show that profitability has an influence on sustainability report disclosure, while firm size and company age do not influence sustainability report disclosure.

Abstract

This study implies to evaluate biogas potential from livestock manure (cattle, sheep and goat) as an alternative to fossil fuel for Baghlan province of Afghanistan. Furthermore, Using biogas to generate electricity. The potential of biogas has been observed as top value with 1107715.3 (m3/ year) in Pul-I-Khumri and as the lowest with 238972.6 (m3/ year) in Tala Wa Barfak for cattle, sheep and goats. when cattle is investigated, the top biogas potential value was 927382.9 (m3/ year) in Khost Wa Fring, then Baghlan Jadeed with 902663.3 (m3/ year) is followed by Pul-I-Khumri with 900555.4 (m3/ year). The highest biogas potential value was 176711.4 (m3/ year) for sheep in Pul-I-Khumri and 45052.0 (m3/ year) for goat in Khost Wa Fring. The study implicates that just three animals (cattle, sheep and goat) generate 12815.6 (Mwh/year) ofeletrical energy with share of 83% cattle, 13% sheep and goat with 5% in the year of 2023. Finally, this paper concludes with a discussion of the environmental, social and economic benefits of biogas production and its potential role in mitigating climate change for this region.

Abstract

This Paper undertakes a thorough analysis of how students' cognitive and psychological competencies are influenced by education systems that prioritize exams and center teaching around instructors. Analyzes the limitations of traditional models and suggests alternative approaches to improve the learning experience by examining the literature as a research method and drawing on various scientific references. The teacher-centered educational model, characterized by rote learning and standardized testing. It has been examined for its potential to inhibit critical thinking and creativity. Psychologically, the study investigates in depth the work of Madigan, Curran, and Lonsdale (2016) and Carol Dweck (2006) to highlight the stress and fixed mindset associated with high-stakes exams. The pressures created by exam-oriented systems are explored, shedding light on the potential damage to teacher-student relationships and the overall quality of education. Additionally, the weaknesses of exam-oriented education, such as student-centeredness and lack of practical applications, are discussed. The article emphasizes the necessity of moving towards student-centered models that take individual differences into account, encourage active participation, and prioritize holistic development. To solve these problems, various solutions are proposed in the article. Cognitively, the article underscores the importance of balancing test preparation with student-centered learning. The article promotes a reimagined pedagogical strategy that emphasizes the all-encompassing growth of students, equipping them not just for examinations but also for the intricacies of life outside traditional academic settings. The extensive references cited contribute to a well-rounded comprehension of the intricacies and potential remedies linked to education systems focused on exams and centered around teachers.
