Abstract

This research delves into the comprehensive analysis of illocutionary acts within the context of the movie “IT” (2017). By closely examining the film’s script, we identify five distinct categories of illocutionary acts: representative, directive, commissive, expressive, and declarative. Notably, directive acts emerge as the most prevalent, constituting 35% of the total occurrences. Our study contributes valuable insights to the understanding of speech acts in cinematic dialogue, with potential applications in linguistics, education, and even scriptwriting.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of implementing the habituation of reciting asmaul husna and the supporting factors of the process of implementing asmaul husna habituation, in order to instill the religious character of students at SD Supriyadi 02 Semarang. The type of research used is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection method was carried out in three stages, namely: Observation, interview and documentation. While the data analysis techniques are: Data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study found that: 1) The formation of students' religious character in SD Supriyadi 02 Semarang is carried out by habituation of reciting asmaul husna every morning before learning begins 2) Supporting factors in the formation of students' religious character in SD Supriyadi 02 Semarang are: with adequate facilities, diligent and consistent teachers.

Abstract

Anemia is a health problem that often occurs in adolescent girls, including at SMP Negeri 5 Makassar. This study aims to determine the relationship between iron intake, vitamin C, and knowledge of female students with the incidence of anemia in adolescent girls at SMP Negeri 5 Makassar. The research method used was an analytical study with a cross-sectional design. The research sample was taken using proportional random sampling with a total of 65 female students. Data were collected through measurement of iron and vitamin C intake using Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaires (SQFFQ) interview form, and knowledge of schoolgirls using questionnaires. The results showed no relationship between iron intake (p=1.000), vitamin C (p=0.333) and knowledge of schoolgirls (p=1.000 with the incidence of anemia in adolescent girls. Recommendations from this study are the need to increase understanding of the importance of iron and vitamin C intake and knowledge about anemia in adolescent girls through more intensive counseling and education in the school environment. It is hoped that the results of this study can be the basis for the development of more effective intervention programs in overcoming the problem of anemia in adolescent girls as well as identifying other factors that may contribute to the incidence of anemia in adolescent girls, such as diet, physical activity, genetic factors and iron inhibitor factors.Limitations of the study included difficulties in drawing blood from overweight girls or those who could not find veins in their hands, girls who fainted before the blood drawing process and girls who chose to withdraw from the study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of reading and writing literacy of 5th grade students of SDN Panggung Lor Semarang by applying the cause and effect board learning media. Using a descriptive quantitative method of one-group Pretest Posttest with a research population of 28 students. There are 16 female students and 12 male students. This study uses data collection techniques in the form of pretest and posttest sheets and observations during learning activities. In the initial condition, students were lazy to read during learning activities, causing low literacy, then by applying the learning media of the cause and effect board in Indonesian language learning activities, students became enthusiastic so that their learning scores increased. This was obtained through a paired sample t test of .000 <0.05, which means that there is a difference in the average value of students before and after using the cause and effect board media in learning. The pretest score has an average of 56.43 and the posttest has an average increase to 78.57. From these results it can be concluded that there is an increase in students' literacy through their learning outcomes by applying the cause and effect board learning media.

Abstract

Nowadays, social media is one of the common things to use, both at the age of children, adults, and the elderly. The world of education has also given freedom to students to utilize gadgets / smartphones for learning. Not a few social media are also used to find interesting references related to a learning material. However, there are also negative impacts related to this, a lot of students who cannot manage their time properly due to excessive playing social media. The same thing happens to students at SMK N 4 Semarang, especially class XI, they are often seen playing social media during class hours and outside of class hours. This study aims to determine the picture of addiction to playing social media by students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. This research was conducted at SMK N 4 Semarang with a total population of class XI of 612 students. The samples in this study were class XI Automotive 1, and class XI Mechanical Engineering 1, and XI Automotive 3 with a total of 108 students. Collecting research data using a social media addiction scale. The results obtained from this study are the level of addiction to playing social media in class XI SMK N 4 Semarang mostly in the low category with a percentage of 38%, followed by the medium category with a percentage of 35%, and high with a percentage of 27%.

Abstract

This activity aims to determine how effective the use of Letter Board media is on Indonesian language learning outcomes for grade 1 students of SDN Plamongansari 02 Semarang. This study used a quantitative pre-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. Data was collected through instruments in the form of pretest and posttest questions given before and after the use of Letter Board learning media. Based on the results of research and analysis in the field regarding the use of Letter Board media as a learning tool on student learning outcomes, it can be concluded that this media shows significant effectiveness. During the activities at SDN Plamongansari 02 Semarang, there were changes in students who were initially unable to do subtraction to be able to do it.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the cultivation of students' religious character values through the habituation program of reading short letters at SDN Pandeanlamper 04 Semarang, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This program is carried out every Thursday at 7.15-07.45 WIB which is attended by students from grade one to grade six students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that this program is effective in improving students' understanding of religious values, such as faith, obedience, and noble character, as well as positive behavioral changes shown by students, such as discipline, tolerance, and responsibility. The main supporting factors include the active participation of teachers as role models and supervisors, as well as support from parents who reinforce learning at home. However, there are some inhibiting factors, including the lack of motivation of some students and the limited time for implementation at school.

Abstract

Adolescence is a phase characterized by behavioral and emotional development. Adolescents often experience erratic emotional fluctuations. This is common among high school children. Adolescents are considered emotionally mature when they can anticipate and control their emotional reactions, rather than reacting impulsively without thinking first. In a high school setting, students encounter a variety of conditions and cultures that may not always fit their own. Therefore, it is very important for students to have strong emotion regulation abilities. The purpose of this study is to examine the disparity in emotion control between male and female students in class X SMA Negeri 9 Semarang. This study utilized quantitative methodology. The study was conducted as a survey, with a sample of 396 students in grade X as the data source. The sample size of the study consisted of 180 students. The data collection approach used was an emotion regulation tool based on Gross' framework. Data analysis revealed gender disparities in emotion regulation among students, which showed a marked difference between males and females. The data showed that female students obtained higher mean scores. Higher scores indicate a higher level of proficiency in managing emotions.

The rapid development of information systems has a very important role for every company. Jovi Shoe Shop is a shop engaged in the field of shoes which in managing all transactions still uses the method of recording in books and paper media which is still not computerized. The purpose of this research is to design a sales, purchase and inventory information system for this store. The system development methodology used is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology. System output design using Crystal Report, system input design using Microsoft Visual Studio 2015, and data storage using Microsoft SQL Server 2014. The result of this writing is the design of an information system that if developed can process, store, and display all sales, purchase, and inventory transactions, and can produce reports that are appropriate to the needs of the store whose purpose if developed is to make it easier for the owner to see and make decisions for the benefit and progress of the store.
