Abstract

The fashion industry in Bandar Lampung continues to grow alongside technological advancements. One strategy to boost sales is the use of live streaming features on marketplaces. Ladyfame, a fashion-focused online shop, utilizes this feature through Shopee Live. This study aims to examine the influence of utilitarian value, hedonic value, and symbolic value on purchase decisions during Shopee Ladyfame Official Shop’s live streaming. This research is explanatory and uses a quantitative approach. The population consists of Ladyfame consumers in Indonesia who have watched and made purchases via Shopee Live. A sample of 96 respondents was selected using purposive sampling and the Cochran formula. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 29. The results of this study reveal that both partially and simultaneously, utilitarian value, hedonic value, and symbolic value have a positive and significant influence on purchase decisions during Shopee live streaming at Ladyfame Official Shop. Based on these findings, it is recommended that Ladyfame enhance the informative and efficient aspects of product presentation in live streaming sessions, such as through clear product descriptions, detailed demonstrations, and easy purchasing access. For future researchers, it is recommended to expand the research model by including other variables such as trust in influencers, price perception, and visual streaming quality, which may influence purchase decisions.

The study uses a quantitative framework and explanatory methodologies. The samples were selected using purposeful sampling, and the sampling process was conducted using accidental sampling. 97 participants were given questionnaires as part of the data collection process. Among the data analysis techniques used are the validity test, reliability test, multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption test, and hypothesis test. The data was statistically descriptively analyzed using SPSS software version 27. The results show that, when taken into account separately, brand awareness, celebrity endorsements, and online customer reviews all significantly and favorably influence purchasing decisions. When taken as a whole, these three elements have a favorable and substantial impact on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study's backdrop is the state of workers who are doing worse, supposedly as a result of a work-life imbalance that affects their level of job satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to evaluate and assess how work-life balance affects employee performance at PT Mitra Grafika Perdana, using job satisfaction as an intervening variable. The Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis tool, which is processed using SmartPLS 4.0 software, is utilized in this quantitative research methodology. 52 employees made up the overall sample size, which was obtained by employing the saturated sampling approach, which involves sampling the entire population. Questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation studies were used to gather data. The findings demonstrated that:"(1) Work-Life Balance has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance;"(2) Work-Life Balance has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction;"(3) Job Satisfaction has a significant effect on Employee Performance; and (4) Job Satisfaction can mediate the effect of Work-Life Balance on Employee Performance. “Thus, a good Work-Life Balance will increase Job Satisfaction, which has an impact on improving Employee Performance."

Abstract

The study investigated the relationship between transformational leadership (TL), psychological well-being (PWB), and work engagement (WE) with a specific focus on the mediating role of psychological well-being. Anchored in an explanatory research design, the study involved 104 administrative staff members from the University of Cape Coast (UCC). Data were analysed using descriptive statistics and inferential methods, particularly mediation analysis. Correlation results revealed a moderately significant positive relationship between TL and EPW, as well as between TL and WE. Furthermore, EPW was found to significantly mediate the link between TL and WE, highlighting its critical role in fostering employee engagement. This implies that for higher education institutions, improving leadership alone is not enough; there must also be efforts to create a healthier work milieu where staff members feel valued, less stressed, and more satisfied. Both important theoretical and practical implications have been discussed.

Abstract

TikTok Shop has emerged as a highly favored e-commerce platform among Generation Z due to its engaging and interactive shopping experience. However, the platform's ease of access and frequent usage can also lead to impulsive buying behavior. On the other hand, large discounts and high customer ratings are its own attractions that influence impulse buying. Generation Z who grew up in this digital era tend to rely on TikTok Shop as their main online shopping platform, especially in Bandar Lampung where digital growth is relatively high. This research aims to test how much influence discounts and customer ratings have on impulsive purchases in TikTok shop. Quantitative approach and explanatory research design were used in this study. The process of data collection in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires to a total of 100 respondents who are categorized as members of Generation Z and are active users of TikTok Shop in the city of Bandar Lampung. The selection of respondents was done using a purposive sampling technique, which means participants were chosen based on specific criteria relevant to the research objectives. Once the data was collected, it was processed and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis to examine the relationship between the variables studied. The findings of this research indicate that both discount offers and customer ratings significantly and positively affect impulsive buying behavior. This influence is evident not only when these variables are considered individually but also when they are examined simultaneously. Among the two, discounts exert the strongest influence, indicating that price reductions are more effective in driving impulsive purchasing behavior. Together, these two variables account for 36.8% of the variance in impulse buying, the remaining 63.2% was effect by other factors that were not studied by the researchers in this research.

Abstract

In response to growing environmental concerns and the increasing emphasis on sustainable tourism, this study investigates the influence of corporate social responsibility (CSR), including environmental CSR and customer-related CSR, and travelers’ ascription of responsibility (AOR) on their continuous intention to use electric ride-hailing services while traveling in an emerging economy, Vietnam. The study employed a quantitative method using a questionnaire survey and data were collected through non-probability sampling methods. The results demonstrated that all three factors positively influenced travelers' continuous intention, with AOR exhibiting the most vital role. On top of that, customer-related CSR has a slightly higher impact on travelers' continuous intention compared with environmental CSR. The study contributes to understanding sustainable behavior in the context of tourism mobility and offers insights for promoting green transportation models. The findings also highlight the need for combined efforts from both service providers and travelers, suggesting strategies that integrate individual awareness, customer-oriented CSR actions, and environmental commitment.

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of inflation, interest rates, and the Nikkei 225 index on the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) within the capital markets of nine ASEAN nations over the period from 2019 to 2023. A total of 45 data points were selected using purposive sampling techniques to ensure relevance and alignment with the study objectives. The data analysis was conducted utilizing multiple linear regression methods with a panel data approach, processed through Eviews 12 software. The analytical procedures encompassed a comprehensive range of tests, including descriptive statistical analysis, panel regression estimation, hypothesis testing, and classical assumption diagnostics such as normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity assessments. The findings from the t-test indicate that both inflation and interest rate variables do not exert a statistically significant influence on the IHSG, whereas the Nikkei 225 index demonstrates a significant and positive effect. Moreover, the results of the F-test reveal that, when evaluated collectively, the three independent variables significantly affect the IHSG across the observed ASEAN countries.
