Abstract

This research was conducted on the basis of the discovery of problems found at SDN Borong, namely the low motivation for student learning. The purpose of this study is to determine the description of the application of the quantum teaching model in science learning, (2) to find out the picture of student learning motivation, and (3) to determine the influence of the application of the quantum teaching model on science learning on the learning motivation of grade IV UPT SPF students at SDN Borong. This research uses a quantitative approach with a type of experimental research in the form of quasi-experimental design type non-equivalent control group design. The study population is all grade IV. The samples in the study were class IV students who were selected by purposive sampling technique. Research data were collected using observations, questionnaires, and documentation provided before and after the implementation of learning. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the first treatment went well and the second treatment went very well . The results of inferential analysis using independent sample t-test showed the difference in post non-test results between the experimental class and the control class. This shows that there is an increase in student learning motivation in the experimental group higher than the control class. So that it can be concluded that: (1) the learning process with the application of the quantum teaching model is effective, (2) the results of the student questionnaire show an increase in student learning motivation in science learning, (3) there is a significant influence on the application of the quantum teaching model on student learning motivation in science learning grade IV UPT SPF SDN Borong Kota Makassar.

Abstract

The research problem in this study is the low results of mathematics learning. This study aims to find out an overview of the use of napier rod props in mathematics subjects of grade IV students of UPT SPF SDN Maccini II Makassar City, to find out an overview of students' mathematics learning outcomes after using napier stem props in class IV UPT SPF SDN Maccini II Makassar City, and to find out the influence of the use of napier rod props on the results of learning mathematics for grade IV students of upt spf sdn Maccini II Makassar City. This research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental type of research. The research design used in this study is quasi experimental group design with the form of nonequivalent control group design which is carried out in two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class with stages of activity including giving pretests, giving treatment in experimental classes and giving posttests. Data collection techniques are in the form of tests, observations, and documentation. The population in this study was all grade IV students of UPT SPF SDN Maccini II Makassar City. The sample in this study was 54 students consisting of 27 class IV A students and 27 class IV B students. The data analysis techniques used in this study are descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of this study showed that (1) The use of the napier rod teaching aid in the learning process of the experimental class in mathematics class IV UPT SPF SDN Macini II Makassar City went very well. (2) Student learning outcomes in the experimental class are more improved than learning outcomes in the control class. This is evidenced by the learning outcomes in the experimental class which are in the good category, while the learning outcomes in the control class are only in the sufficient category. (3) There is an effect of using the napier rod teaching aid on learning outcomes in mathematics class IV UPT SPF SDN Maccini II Makassar City.

Abstract

This study is a ex post facto study that aims to determine the significant effect of parental participation on the science learning motivation of students at SD Negeri Bayang Makassar City. The independent variable in this study is the form of parental participation, while the dependent variable is students' motivation to learn science. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were students of SD Negeri Bayang Makassar as many as 312 students. (1) determination of the sample of this study using simple random sampling technique as many as 172 students spread from grades I - VI SD. (2) data were collected using research instruments in the form of questionnaires and documentation (3) the data analysis technique used in hypothesis testing is statistical testing, including descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of hypothesis testing show that significance value 0,03 then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on the results of the study, it shows that there is a positive influence between parental participation on the science learning motivation of students at SD Negeri Bayang Makassar City

Abstract

This study is pre-experimental that aimed to know the effect of Online Learning Google Classroom Based on the story writing skills of the Fifth Grade Students YPS Singkole Elementary School East Luwu District. The independent variable in this study is Online Learning Google Classroom Based and the Fifth Grade Students YPS Singkole Elementary School East Luwu District that consist of 28 students. The research data were obtained by giving story writing tests on learning the theme of My living place, sub theme 2: the diversity of living things in my environtment with pre test and post test. The data analysis technique is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis, the obtained Wilcoxon test was for 0.000 less than 0.05. It can be concluded that Online Learning Google Classroom Based has a significant effect on the story writing skills of the Fifth Grade Students YPS Singkole Elementary School East Luwu District.

Abstract

This research was conducted at UPTD SDN 146 Barru, Mallusetasi District, Barru Regency which has a problem formulation, namely: 1) What is the picture of online learning at UPTD SDN 146 Barru during the covid-19 pandemic? 2) What is the picture of student learning motivation at UPTD SDN 146 Barru during the covid-19 pandemic? 3) Is there any effect of online learning on students' learning motivation during the covid-19 pandemic at UPTD SDN 146 Barru? Therefore, this study aims: 1) To find out the description of online learning for UPTD SDN 146 Barru students during the covid-19 pandemic. 2) To find out the description of student learning motivation at UPTD SDN 146 Barru during the covid-19 pandemic. 3) To find out whether there is an effect of online learning on students' learning motivation during the covid-19 pandemic at UPTD SDN 146 Barru. This type of research is a quantitative correlational model. The data collection method uses a questionnaire and documentation, which has a population of 61 students, with a sampling technique using a saturated sampling technique. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis and inferential analysis using simple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of the analysis show that the significance value of online learning and student learning motivation can be seen from Fcount which is greater than Ftable, so that there is a significant effect. Then the value of sig. smaller than the level of significance. Abstract

This research is an experimental study that aims to determine the significant effect of use powtoon learning media to student learning motivation on 3rd grade on indonesian subjects at islamic elementary school athirah 1 makassar. The independent variable in this study is the use of Powtoon learning media, while the dependent variable is student learning motivation. This research using a quantitative approach and using this type of experimental research with the research design One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study were 120 students of third grade of Athirah Islamic Elementary School 1 Makassarfor the academic year 2020-2021. Determination of the sample of this study using a simple random sampling technique, Class III Al-Aziz SD Islam Athirah 1 Makassar as an experimental class as many as 25 people. Data were collected using research instruments in the form of student learning motivation questionnaires, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used in hypothesis testing is Paired Sample t-test with the help of the IBM SPSS Statistic Version 22 application.The results of measuring student learning motivation comparing the results of pre-test and post-test using Powtoon learning media show that the use of Powtoon learning media has a significant effect on the learning motivation of third grade students of Athirah Islamic Elementary School 1 Makassar.

Abstract

The problem that lies behind this research is the low learning outcomes of students in social studies subject class V UPT SPF SDN KIP Bara-Baraya I Makassar City. This study aims to describe the application of the make a match type of cooperative learning model to improve social studies learning outcomes in class V UPT SPF SDN KIP Bara-Baraya I Makassar City. The focus of this researchis the application of the make a match type of cooperative learning model and student learning outcomes. The reasearch approach used in this study is a qualitative approach and the type of research used is Classroom Action Reasearch (CAR) which was carried out in two cycle, each cycle consists of two meetings. Each cycle has four stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation stage, and the reflection stage. Data collection techniques and procedures are observation, tests and documentation. This Classroom Action Reasearch (CAR) wa carried out in class V UPT SPF SDN KIP Bara-Baraya I Makassar City with the research subjects being teachers and students totaling 18 people consisting of 13 male atudents and 5 female students. The data analysis technique in this research is qualitative and quantitative (mixed method) data analysis. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes in social studies subjects with the achievement of completeness of pre action learning outcomes in the less category, in the first cycle obtained 8 students complete with the achievement of mastery learning outcomes was in the sufficient category, while in the second cycle 15 students were obtained trough the achievement of complete learning in the good category. The conclusion in this study is that the application of the make a match type of cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes in social studies subjects for class V UPT SPF SDN KIP Bara-Baraya I Makassar City.

Abstract

This study examines the low learning outcomes of mathematics in fifth grade students of SD Inpres Maccini Baru, Tamalate District, Makassar City. The purpose of this study was to describe the application of the Problem Based Learning model to improve mathematics learning outcomes in fifth grade students of SD Inpres Maccini Baru, Tamalate District, Makassar City. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The type of research is classroom action research (CAR) which is carried out in 4 (four) stages in each cycle, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The focus of this research is the application of the Problem Based Learning model and student learning outcomes. The setting of this research is the fifth grade of SD Inpres Maccini Baru, Tamalate District, Makassar City, while the subject of this research is one class teacher and 24 students consisting of 13 female students and 11 male students. In this study, the researcher acts as a teacher and the class teacher acts as an observer. Data analysis techniques are qualitative and quantitative. The results showed that the teacher's teaching activities in the first cycle still showed a sufficient category and in the second cycle increased to a good category. Similarly, student learning activities in the first cycle were in the sufficient category and in the second cycle increased to a good category. Meanwhile, student learning outcomes in the first cycle were in the sufficient category and student learning outcomes in the second cycle increased to a good category. The conclusion of this study is that through the application of the Problem Based Learning model, the learning outcomes of mathematics in fifth grade students of SD Inpres Maccini Baru, Tamalate District, Makassar City have increased.

Abstract

The teachers are the factor that most determines the qualities of education, so the teachers required to have the potential to develop professionalism as a teacher. But there are still many teachers who are not able to develop their social competences. Research focus in this study are (1) How do the teachers understanding of social competence in the communication aspect in SDI No. 167 Mattoanging? (2) Do teachers in SDI No. 167 Mattoanging communicate affectively to students, professional friends (fellow teachers), and parents of students. This study aims (a) To find out an overview of the understanding of social competence of classroom teachers in SDI No. 167 Mattoanging on the aspects of communication. (b) To find out teacher communication with the students, fellow educators, education staff and parents of the students. The type of research is a descriptive approach through a qualitative approach. The sources used in this study were the principal as the key informant, teacher, education staff, parents of the students, the school committee as informant. Datum collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Datum  analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, data validity checks. The results of the study show that (1) the teachers do understand every aspect of social interaction of competences (2) the teachers’ communication is not affective in terms of each social component.
