Abstract

This research 1) how is the description of implementation of match model learning strategies of fourth grade students at SD Inpres Mangasa I kecamatan Rappocini Makassar 2) How is the result of IPS (social science) learning of fourth grade students at SD 3) Is there any influence of match model learning model towards the result of students' learning in IPS subject at SD. The objectives of this researh are: 1) the description of implementation of match model learning strategies of fourth grade students at SD Inpres Mangasa I kecamatan Rappocini Makassar 2) the result of IPS (social science) learning of fourth grade students at SD 3) The influence of make a match learning model towards the result of students' learning in IPS subject at SD. The research approach uses quantitative with quasi eksperiment research type. The independent variable of this research is the influence of make a match learning model while dependent variable is the result of learning at IPS subject in the topic of living environment and types of economy. The population of this research is fourt grade students at SD Inpres Mangasa I Kecamatan Rappocini Makassar, and the sample is students of class IV A which consists of 24 students at control class and students of class IV B which consists of 24 students at experiment class. The design of this research is nonequivalent control group. The technique of sampling of this research is simple random sampling. While the technique of collecting data in this research is by giving test which is divided into pretest and posttest observasion and documentation. The normality test uses kolomogrov smirnov normality test. The hypothetical test uses T test of Independent Sample with the data from control class and experimental class. The result shows that there is significant influence.  The research conclueded that there is a significant influence of make a match learning model toward the result of students’ learning in IPS class fourth at SD Inpres Mangasa I Kecamatan Rappocini Makassar.

Abstract

The problem of this research is the low learning outcomes of students' speaking skills in grade V SDN 526 Buntu Kamiri, Luwu Regency. The focus of this research is the application of role playing methods and improving students' speaking skills. As for the research subjects, 1 teacher of class V and 20 students of class V consisting of 12 girls and 8 boys. Data collection techniques through observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis used was qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that the teaching activities of the teacher in the first cycle were categorized as adequate and the first cycle of meeting 2 was categorized as good. Student learning activities in the first cycle of meeting 1 were categorized as adequate and the first cycle of meeting 2 was categorized as good. The improvement of the results of students 'speaking skills in the first cycle was in the good category, then in the second cycle the average score of the results of the students' speaking skills was in the good category (classical complete). The conclusion of this study is the role playing method can improve the speaking skills of students in class V SDN 526 Buntu Kamiri, Luwu Regency.Keywords: speaking skills, Role Playing Method

Abstract

The problem behind this research is the low learning outcomes of students in learning Mathematics for class IV SDN No. 48 Inpres Galung Utara, Banggae District, Majene Regency. This study aims to describe the application of the Problem Based Learning model to improve mathematics learning outcomes for fourth grade students of SDN No. 48 Inpres Galung Utara, Banggae District, Majene Regency. The approach used is a qualitative approach and the type of classroom action research (CAR) which consists of 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings with the stages of activities in the form of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The focus of this research is the application of the Problem Based Learning model and student learning outcomes. The research subjects are teachers and fourth grade students at SDN No. 48 Inpres Galung Utara, Banggae District, Majene Regency. In the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year, there are 18 students. Collecting data using the format of observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis used is qualitative. The results showed that there was an increase in learning both in teacher and student activities and student learning outcomes. The results of this study are teacher teaching activities and student learning activities have increased, in the first cycle the second meeting is in the sufficient category while in the second cycle the second meeting is in the good category. Student learning outcomes in cycle I meeting II are in the high category but student learning outcomes in Mathematics learning have not been completed classically, while in cycle II meeting II the category is very high, student learning outcomes have increased and have been completed classically. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the Problem Based Learning model in learning Mathematics can improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN No. 48 Inpres Galung Utara, Banggae district Majene Regency.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to determine whether cheerful interactive multimedia (MIC) can be used in science classes for fifth-grade students at KIP V Bara-Baraya  elementary school, Makassar City. This research develops products based on the results of an analysis of student needs using research and development (R&D) types. The research subjects were 20 students in class 5A, and the research and development procedure used was the Alessi & Trollip development model, which began with the planning stage, the design stage, and the development stage. Products developed through additional research go through two stages of testing: alpha and beta. The alpha test or validity test in this study involved two validators, namely the material expert validator and the media expert validator. Based on the results of the media expert validation analysis, an overall score of 93 was obtained with a percentage of 83.03%, so multimedia products are in the "very eligible" category. The results of the material expert validation analysis obtained an overall score of 70 with a percentage of 92.10%, so multimedia products are in the "very eligible" category. As for the results of the responses of students and teachers for each product, they obtained percentages of 92.9% and 93.05%, so that multimedia products were in the "very eligible" category. Based on the results of this study, it can be an additional reference for future researchers and an innovation in developing interactive multimedia in elementary schools.Key Words:  Cheerful Interactive Multimedia, Science Subjects, Allesi and Trollip

Abstract

This research is a survey research that examines the influence of online learning on students' learning interests. The purpose of this study is (1) to determine the implementation of online learning for grade V students of SD Negeri Mattoangin II, Mariso District, Makassar City (2) to find out the interest in learning for grade V students of SD Negeri Mattoangin II, Mariso District, Makassar City (3) to find out the influence of online learning on the interest in learning of grade V students of SD Negeri Mattoangin II, Mariso District, Makassar City. This research approach is quantitative research using descriptive analysis. The population of this study was all students of class V. The sample in this study was class V with a total of 60 students. With sampling technique using Total Sampling. Data collection techniques in this study use questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The results showed low interest in student learning at the time of online learning. This is evidenced by a survey of learning interests that obtained percentage results This is evidenced by a survey of learning interest which obtained the results of a percentage of 29% who felt it was appropriate to do online learning and another 71% felt inappropriate. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that online learning causes low interest in learning for grade V students of SD Negeri Mattoangin II, Mariso District, Makassar City.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative approach with the type of pre-experiment research which aims to determine (1) The description of the use of word card media on the early reading skills of grade II students of SDN 48 Garutu, Enrekang District, (2) The description of the early reading skills of grade II students of SDN 48 Garutu, Enrekang District, and (3) The effect of using word card media on the early reading skills of grade II students of SDN 48 Garutu, Enrekang District. The independent variable in this study is the application of the use of word card media, while the dependent variable is students' early reading skills. The population in this study were all grade II students of SDN 48 Garutu, namely 25 people, as well as the sample, namely all grade II SDN 48 Garutu, namely 25 people with the sampling technique, namely saturated sample. The results of the research conducted can be concluded that (1) The description of the use of word card media on the early reading skills of grade II students of SDN 48 Garutu, Enrekang District took place effectively because the percentage category for each meeting increased. (2) The description of the early reading skills of grade II SDN 48 Garutu Enrekang District has increased. This is evidenced by the posttest scores of students in the high category after being given treatment while the pretest scores were in the medium category before treatment. (3) Data on the results of the study were obtained by giving tests of students' early reading skills in the form of pre tests and post tests. Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis, the Sig. (2-tailed) from the results of the Paired Sample Test of 0.000, this value is smaller than α = 0.05. It can be concluded that the use of word card media has a significant effect on the early reading skills of grade II students of SDN 48 Garutu, Enrekang Regency.

Abstract

The research problem is low student learning motivation in science subjects in fifth grade of SD Inpres Sudiang Kota Makassar. The problem statement in this research there are: (1) how is the description of using mind mapping method in science subject?, (2) how is the description of students learning motivation in science subject?, (3) is there an effect of using mind mapping method on learning motivation in science subject at the fifth grade student of SD Inpres Sudiang Kota Makassar?. The purpose of this study there are: (1) to know the description of using mind mapping method in science subject, (2) to know the description of students learning motivation in science subject, (3) to know the effect of using mind mapping method on learning motivation in science subject at the fifth grade student of SD Inpres Sudiang Kota Makassar. The approach used in this study is quantitative the type of research is Quasi experiment. The focus of this research the used of the learning methods of Mind Mapping and student learning motivation. The population and sample of this study were fifth grade students of SD Inpres Sudiang Kota Makassar, with 60 students. Data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The technique of analyzing data used descriptive statistical and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that there was: (1) The learning process was observed using the learning process sheet the results showed progress improvement in each meeting and categorized as very effective. (2) The learning motivation in experiment class more increased than in control class after giving treatment. (3) Mind mapping method had an effect on student learning motivation in science subject at the fifth grade student of SD Inpres Sudiang Kota Makassar.

Abstract

Students reading comprehension skills are still lacking. Many students do not know content or meaning of the reading they have read. The main problem in this study is now to describe the implementation of the SQ3R strategy for fifth grade students of SD INPRES BTN IKIP 1, Rappocini District, Makassar City, how is the description of the results of reading comprehension skills for fifth graders of SD INPRES BTN IKIP 1, Rapocini District, Makassar City, and whether there is an effect on the implementation of the SQ3R stategy. On the reading comprehension skills of fifth graders of SD INPRES BTN IKIP 1, Rappocini District, Makassar City. This study aims to describe the implementation of the SQ3R strategy, to determine the description of students reading comprehension skills, and to determine the effect of implementing the SQ3R strategy on the reading skills of fifth grade students of SD INPRES BTN IKIP 1, Rappocini District, Makassar City. This type of research is an experimental (Quasi Experimental Design) with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all fifth grade students. The sample in this study was 21 students in class V A and 21 students in class V B. The instrument used was a test of students reading comprehension skills (pre-test and post-test). Data Collection techniques in this study were observation, tests and documentation. After the data is collected then the processing is done by statistical analysis and inferential statistics with the help of IBM SPSS version 26.The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the average value of comprehension reading skills in the experimental class before using the SQ3R strategy (pre-test) was 60.71 in the poor category, while the average value of students after the implementation of the SQ3R strategy (post-test) was 84.76 in the good category. Furthermore, the average value of students reading comprehension skills in the control class that was not treated without applying the SQ3R strategy (pre-test) was 60.48 which was in the less category while the average value of not being treated without applying the SQ3R strategy (post-test) was 68.57 which was in the less category. Ststistical results using manual calculations of independent sample t-test with the help of the IBM SPSS Statistic Version 26 application. The  value is obtained with df (40) = 2.021 while  is 4.128,  (4.128)  > 2.021) so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the results of the  study, there is a positive effect of implementing the SQ3R strategy on the reading comprehension skills of fifth graders of SD INPRES BTN IKIP 1, Rappocini District, Makassar City

Abstract

The problem that is the focus of this research is the low level of literacy among students and the lack of complete library facilities at SDN Tlogotirto Elementary School. The study aims to revitalize the role of libraries to stimulate students' interest in literacy as part of efforts to support the achievement of the goals stated in Nawacita. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The subjects of this research were teachers, school principals and students. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis in this research includes reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The research results showed that: 1) revitalization activities began with arranging and redecorating the library, sorting several books worth reading, labelling each book, and making a library visit logbook. Based on the classification, there were 514 student reading books, 86 encyclopedias, 150 general knowledge books, and 215 KTSP and K13 textbooks. 2) interest in literacy increases, with the average number of visits being 20 students every day. 3) the library can be an alternative solution to the classroom for studying. This research concludes that library revitalization has a significant positive impact on increasing students' interest in reading literacy. Libraries have great potential to become an adequate learning platform for students to achieve nawacita.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball pada siswa kelas V SDN 221 Inpres Maliba Kabupaten Tana Toraja. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini “Bagaimana meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing pada siswa kelas V SDN 221 Inpres Maliba Kabupaten Tana Toraja. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, tes dan observasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus dengan subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari beberapa tahap yaitu; tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan tindakan, tahap pemantauan, evaluasi, serta refleksi. Data hasil penelitian yang telah diolah dan dianalisis diperoleh keterangan, bahwa hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS dengan materi Rumah Adat Di Indonesia Dan Keragaman Pakaian Adat Di Indonesia, dengan diterapkannya model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing di kelas V SDN 221 Inpres Maliba telah mengalami peningkatan terbukti diperoleh data dari hasil  pembelajaran siklus I siswa mendapat nilai 70,8 persen. Sedangkan hasil pembelajaran siklus II siswa mendapat nilai 95,8 persen. Data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran tipe Snowball Throwing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci : Hasil Belajar, Model Snowball Throwing
