Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of career anxiety and social support on job search self-efficacy among fresh graduates of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (FEB UMS), graduating in 2023–2025, with emotion regulation serving as a mediating variable. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through a closed-ended Likert-scale questionnaire administered to 110 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4.0. The findings revealed that career anxiety had a negative and significant effect on both emotion regulation and job search self-efficacy. In contrast, social support had a positive and significant effect on emotion regulation and job search self-efficacy. Emotion regulation was also found to have a positive and significant effect on job search self-efficacy. Furthermore, emotion regulation partially mediated the effects of career anxiety and social support on job search self-efficacy. The research model explained 52.1% of the variance in job search self-efficacy. The implications of this study highlight the importance of strengthening career support services, enhancing social support, and providing emotion regulation training to improve the psychological readiness of fresh graduates in entering the labor market

Abstract

High turnover rates are a problem in the retail sector because they can disrupt operational stability. One factor related to turnover is turnover intention, which is influenced by various psychological aspects, including work engagement. This study aims to determine the contribution of work engagement to turnover intention among employees of a retail company in Bukittinggi. This study aims to determine the contribution of work engagement to turnover intention among retail employees. This study uses an explanatory method with a quantitative approach. The study population consisted of 82 employees who became the sample of this study. Data collection was carried out using psychological scales, namely the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES-9) and the Turnover Intention Scale (MTIS-6). Data analysis was carried out through simple linear regression analysis with the help of JASP version 0.95.4. The results illustrate that work engagement has a significant contribution to turnover intention with significance (p < 0.001). The contribution obtained is positive, indicating that the higher the work engagement, the lower the turnover intention. This finding implies that work engagement does not always reduce turnover intention, but is influenced by working conditions and the organizational context.

Abstract

Education is not only aimed at transferring knowledge but also at shaping character, skills, and life values. In this context, principals and teachers play an important role in developing teacher empowerment management to improve the quality of learning. However, there are still schools that have not optimized teacher empowerment, which affects the quality of education. This study aims to analyze the management of needs, the process of teacher empowerment, and its impact on improving the quality of education at UPT SDN Margorejo. The research method used is qualitative.The results show that teacher empowerment can be implemented through various programs, such as training in deep learning-based instructional strategies, professional development, strengthening school leadership, and creating a supportive work environment. These efforts have been proven to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive teaching materials based on the LexGo game oriented toward the PASS early reading learning model for elementary school students. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D development model, which consists of define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. The research subjects included expert validators as well as lower-grade students and teachers from two elementary schools. The instruments used were validation sheets and response questionnaires from students and teachers, and the data were analyzed using descriptive percentage analysis to determine the feasibility and practicality of the product. The results showed that the developed teaching materials achieved a very high level of feasibility, with validation scores of 94.23% from teaching material experts, 90% from material experts, and 87.5% from educational practitioners. Furthermore, the practicality test indicated very practical results based on student responses of 85.21% and 85.76%, as well as teacher responses of 88.50% and 89.25% in each school. Therefore, the LexGo game-based interactive teaching materials are considered feasible and practical for early reading instruction and can effectively support the learning process in elementary schools. Abstract

This study aims to examine the early reading skills of second-grade students based on the indicators found in the EGRA instrument. The researcher used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design to provide an in-depth description of the students’ reading skills. The researcher selected second-grade elementary school students as the research subjects at SD Negeri Kaliduren. The study collected data through reading tests using the EGRA instrument, observations of students’ individual reading activities, interviews with classroom teachers, students, and parents, as well as documentation. The researcher analyzed the data through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and systematic conclusion drawing. The researcher employed methodological triangulation and source triangulation to ensure the validity of the research data. The results indicate that students’ early reading skills vary across the observed indicators. Most students can identify letter names and letter sounds, as well as read syllables and words commonly used in daily life. However, some students still experienced difficulties when reading randomly presented words, especially those with more complex phonological structures.These difficulties were manifested through letter pronunciation errors, omission of letter sounds, stuttering, and a lack of reading fluency. This study concludes that students’ early reading skills are influenced by learning motivation, reading concentration, and the support of the learning environment at school and at home.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of implementing the independent curriculum on student learning outcomes in the economics subject of class X of SMA Negeri 1 Titehena. This research uses a descriptive quantitative research method that describes the variables as they are, supported by data in the form of numbers generated from actual conditions The population and sample used in this study were 41 students of class X of SMA Negeri I Titehena, with the sampling technique used being the saturated sampling technique or census technique. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire distributed to all respondents. Data analysis techniques using simple linear regression analysis. The results of the research and data analysis show that the independent curriculum variable has a significant effect on student learning outcomes in the economics subject of class X of SMA Negeri I Titehena, as indicated by the results of the t-test with a calculated t value > t table (7.298 > 1.684) with a significance level of 0.00 < 0.05.These results show that the independent curriculum has an impact on learning outcomes in the economics subject of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Titehena.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepuasan dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan pendekatan Sytematic Literature Review (SLR). Metode SLR berfungsi untuk mengidentifikasi, mengevaluasi, dan mensistesis hasil penelitian terdahulu secara sistematis dan komprehensif. Data yang digunakan bersumber dari database ilmaih seperti Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, dan Garuda (Garuda Rujukan Digital). Proses seleksi literature dengan menggunakan metode PRISMA yang menghasilkan 15 artikel untuk ditinjau. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Namun, pengaruh tersebut tidak bersifat langsung dan cemderung bergantung pada aspek lain seperti motivasi kerja. Motivasi kerja dinilai sebagai variabel yang konsisten dan dominan dalam mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Selain itu, hasil sintesis menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja berperan sebagai variabel mediasi dalam hubungan antara kepuasan kerja dan kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis implementasi Green Human Resource Management dalam penyelenggaraan kebijakan Ruang Terbuka Hijau di Kota Surabaya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui metode kajian pustaka dengan menelaah literatur terkait manajemen sumber daya manusia hijau, tata ruang, dan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa capaian Ruang Terbuka Hijau publik di Surabaya telah melampaui ketentuan minimal nasional, namun efektivitas pengelolaannya sangat dipengaruhi oleh kapasitas aparatur pemerintah daerah. Integrasi praktik Green Human Resource Management pada tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan kebijakan berperan dalam memperkuat kinerja lingkungan kota. Praktik tersebut mencakup rekrutmen hijau, pelatihan lingkungan, penempatan pegawai berbasis kompetensi, penilaian kinerja berbasis indikator keberlanjutan, serta sistem penghargaan yang mendorong perilaku pro lingkungan. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan kebijakan Ruang Terbuka Hijau tidak hanya ditentukan oleh aspek regulasi dan perencanaan spasial, tetapi juga oleh pengelolaan sumber daya manusia yang terintegrasi dengan tujuan keberlanjutan.

Abstract

Lipstick is a cosmetic product used to color the lips, providing a decorative effect and enhancing lip appearance. This study aims to identify the presence of Rhodamine B in lipstick samples using the Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) method. The analysis was carried out by comparing the retention factor (Rf) values of the lipstick samples with the Rhodamine B standard. The samples consisted of ten red lipstick products coded A–J in stick form. Sampling was conducted using purposive sampling in Bandar Lampung markets, specifically Bambu Kuning Market and Central Market. The TLC method used silica gel GF 254 as the stationary phase and a mobile phase consisting of n-butanol, ethyl acetate, and ammonia (10:4:5) with a total volume of 25 mL. Detection was performed under UV light at 365 nm, which showed yellow fluorescence in samples D, E, H, and J. The Rf value of Rhodamine B standard was 0.85, while the Rf values of samples D, E, H, and J were 0.72, 0.78, 0.98, and 0.84, respectively. Samples were considered positive for Rhodamine B if the difference between the sample Rf value and the standard was less than 0.2. Based on these results, samples D, E, H, and J were identified as positive for Rhodamine B.

Abstract

The simultaneous general elections (Pemilu) and regional elections (Pemilukada) of 2024 in Banten Province present a clear democratic irony: the quantitative increase of legislative candidates from 85 to 100 seats has not been matched by a corresponding growth in their political awareness. This study aims to analyze the level of political awareness among legislative candidates (caleg) in Banten Province and the adaptive strategies they employ in response to structural challenges in the 2024 electoral contest. A qualitative approach utilizing a case study method was employed to explore this phenomenon in depth. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis of 12 candidate informants from various political parties across the Millennial and Gen Z generations, selected through purposive sampling in Serang City, Banten Province. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, validated through source and technique triangulation. The findings reveal two dominant structural challenges: the hegemony of high cost politics that marginalizes intellectual capital, and a political awareness deficit at both the candidate and voter levels. Conversely, adaptive strategies were identified, including social media utilization as a low-cost campaign instrument, local wisdom approaches, and religious symbolism. This study concludes that enhancing political awareness requires a fundamental transformation in the role of political parties, from mere electoral vehicles to substantive political education institutions through structured and sustained mentoring and cadre development.
