Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of teacher performance in carrying out their duties as program coordinators in schools, identify influencing factors, and examine the effectiveness of a collaborative approach through the co-PJ tandem system as an alternative solution. The study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical design through literature review enriched with empirical field phenomena. Data were collected through documentation techniques from various relevant scientific literatures and analyzed using content analysis with a thematic approach. The results show that the quality of teacher performance as program coordinators is still suboptimal, characterized by low understanding of roles, weak program planning and management, lack of coordination, and low independence in decision-making. These problems are influenced by various factors, including low work motivation, limited competence, insufficient teacher empowerment, high workload, weak supervision, and the absence of a collaborative work system. Furthermore, this study finds that the implementation of the co-PJ tandem system has a positive impact on improving teacher performance quality through strengthening collaboration, increasing self-confidence, improving program planning and implementation quality, and fostering innovation. In conclusion, improving teacher performance quality requires a systemic and collaborative approach. The co-PJ tandem system can be an innovative and effective model for strengthening teacher performance and supporting sustainable educational quality improvement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran stakeholder dalam meningkatkan manajemen mutu pendidikan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di Kabupaten Karawang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh stakeholder di 10 SMP negeri di Kabupaten Karawang, dengan sampel sebanyak 200 responden yang terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, orang tua, komite sekolah, dan perwakilan dinas pendidikan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner tertutup yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran stakeholder secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan manajemen mutu pendidikan (F hitung = 12,45; p < 0,05). Secara parsial, peran kepala sekolah (β = 0,32; p < 0,01), guru (β = 0,28; p < 0,01), dan komite sekolah (β = 0,18; p < 0,05) memberikan kontribusi terbesar terhadap peningkatan manajemen mutu pendidikan. Sementara itu, peran siswa, orang tua, dan masyarakat memiliki pengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan secara statistik. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah pentingnya penguatan peran kepala sekolah, guru, dan komite sekolah melalui program pelatihan, pendampingan, dan pengembangan sistem komunikasi yang efektif untuk mendukung peningkatan mutu pendidikan di SMP.

Abstract

Chemistry is considered one of the most challenging subjects because most of its concepts are abstract. Based on interviews with teachers, it was found that learning in schools is still limited to the use of markers and whiteboards, and remains teacher-centered. Therefore, a learning medium is needed to help students better understand chemical bonding material, which requires strong visualization. An Interactive Educational Game Based on Virtual Reality can be a potential solution to address this issue. The aim of this study is to produce 2D and 3D visual assets to be integrated into the game. The research subjects were 35 tenth-grade students of SMAS Muhammadiyah 23 Jakarta. The study employed a mixed-method approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods, using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) framework, which consists of the stages of Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing, and Distribution. Based on the beta testing results, media experts rated the product at 91.67%, categorized as very good. Meanwhile, user responses showed an overall rating of 83.33%, also falling into the very good category in terms of 2D visual assets, 3D visual assets, and learning aspects, indicating that the VR game is relevant to the concept of chemical bonding.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the leadership style of village heads and its influence on the quality of public services at the Cempa Village Office, Cempa District, Pinrang Regency. The focus of this research includes the implementation of leadership style and its impact on the quality of services provided to the community.This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving informants selected purposively. Data analysis was conducted interactively through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with the assistance of NVivo 12 software to perform coding and systematically visualize relationships between variables.The research results show that village head leadership styles tend to be democratic and participatory, characterized by open communication and staff involvement in decision-making. This leadership style has a positive impact on the quality of public services, although several obstacles remain in its implementation. Abstract

This study aims to describe the leadership model of the school principal in building local wisdom at UPT SD Negeri Dagangan, Parengan District, Tuban Regency. The research employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive case study design. The research subjects consisted of the principal, teachers, educational staff, and students, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted interactively through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation.The findings reveal that the principal’s leadership plays a significant role in strengthening local wisdom through exemplary behavior, participatory communication, and the development of school culture. Local values such as mutual cooperation, politeness, responsibility, and social awareness are integrated into school policies, learning activities, and daily habits. The leadership model applied is participatory and humanistic, creating a conducive school climate and strengthening character education. This study concludes that leadership based on local wisdom contributes positively to the development of school culture and students’ character formation. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for the development of local wisdom–based educational leadership in primary education institutions..

Abstract

The misalignment between academic orientation and professional practice demands in instrumental music education indicates a gap in the integration of graduate competencies. The relevance of learning is influenced by formal curricular structures that tend to be rigid, resulting in inconsistent connections with professional practice. This study employs a qualitative approach using a narrative literature review design with thematic synthesis. The data corpus consists of 25 scholarly articles published between 2019 and 2026, sourced from Google Scholar, Scopus, SINTA, and Garuda. The analysis identifies structural barriers, including curricular fragmentation and limited connectivity with professional ecosystems. The dominance of product-oriented assessment constrains the development of learning processes, while limited digital infrastructure weakens the integration between academic learning and real-world practice. An Integrative Conceptual Framework (ICF) is proposed as an analytical tool to interpret and guide the development of instrumental music pedagogy. The framework comprises epistemological foundations, adaptive curricular design, and institutional ecosystem connectivity. Strengthening the relationship between educational institutions and industry is essential for the effective implementation of this framework.

Abstract

This study aims to identify an evaluation model for the effectiveness of educational facilities and infrastructure management in madrasahs. Facilities and infrastructure are essential components in supporting the quality of learning; however, their management often faces various challenges such as limited resources, the absence of standardized evaluation frameworks, and weak monitoring and reporting systems. The method used in this study is a literature review by examining various relevant scholarly sources such as books, journal articles, government regulations, and previous research reports. The collected data were analyzed using a descriptif-qualitative approach through conceptual synthesis, by comparing the characteristics of the CIPP model, discrevency evaluation, and the model based on the national education standars (SNP). The findings indicate that there are three relevant evaluation model approaches: the CIPP Model (Context, Input, Process, Product), the Discrepancy Evaluation Model, and the evaluation model based on the National Education Standards (SNP). Each of these models has its own characteristics and advantages in assessing the effectiveness of educational facilities and infrastructure management. By integrating these three approaches, madrasahs are expected to conduct evaluations systematically, measurably, and sustainably to improve the quality of educational services.

Abstract

Tujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition dalam meningkatkan membaca pemahaman Bahasa Indonesia pada peserta didik Fase A Kelas I di SDN Paseraman II tahun ajaran 2024/2025 dan mengetahui peningkatan membaca pemahaman Bahasa Indonesia melalui implementasi model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition pada peserta didik fase A kelas I di SDN Paseraman II tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran CIRC dapat meningkatkan membaca pemahaman Bahasa Indonesia Bab 3 Awas Kuman Pada Peserta Didik fase A kelas I Di SDN Paseraman II Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024. Dalam proses pembelajaran model CIRC digunakan pada Bab 3 Awas ada Kuman mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Pada siklus I, penggunaan model CIRC dalam pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia  dapat  meningkatkan  membaca  pemahaman  siswa  dari  nilai presentase 40% menjadi 80%. Untuk observasi guru di siklus I mendapat 68%. Meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 86%. Sedangkan untuk observasi siswa di siklus I mendapat 66%. Meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 88%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media flipbook terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di sekolah dasar. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan tipe Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 50 siswa kelas V yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok: kelompok eksperimen (25 siswa) yang menerima pembelajaran menggunakan media flipbook dan kelompok kontrol (25 siswa) yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional berbasis buku teks. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes hasil belajar IPS yang terdiri atas 30 butir soal pilihan ganda, dengan validitas dan reliabilitas yang telah teruji. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji-t independen setelah uji prasyarat normalitas dan homogenitas terpenuhi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol (p < 0,05), di mana rata-rata gain score kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi (22,20) dibandingkan kelompok kontrol (12,40). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media flipbook efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Media flipbook dinilai mampu membantu siswa memahami konsep abstrak dalam IPS secara lebih konkret, meningkatkan motivasi belajar, serta mendorong keterlibatan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Temuan ini mendukung teori pembelajaran multimedia yang menyatakan pentingnya kombinasi teks dan visual dalam memperkuat pemrosesan kognitif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, media flipbook direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran IPS di sekolah dasar guna meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media Big Book terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa sekolah dasar. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada rendahnya kemampuan berbahasa siswa, yang diindikasikan oleh keterampilan menyimak, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis yang masih di bawah standar. Media Big Book dipilih karena dinilai mampu menarik perhatian siswa melalui kombinasi teks berukuran besar dan ilustrasi menarik, sesuai dengan teori dual coding dan pendekatan konstruktivistik. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuasi-eksperimen dengan non-equivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 40 siswa kelas V, yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen (20 siswa) dan kelompok kontrol (20 siswa). Kelompok eksperimen mendapatkan pembelajaran menggunakan Big Book, sedangkan kelompok kontrol mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar (pre-test dan post-test) serta observasi aktivitas belajar siswa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen dengan rata-rata peningkatan skor sebesar 18 poin, dibandingkan kelompok kontrol yang hanya meningkat 6 poin. Uji-t menghasilkan nilai p < 0,05 dengan effect size (Cohen’s d) sebesar 2,74 yang menunjukkan efek sangat besar. Selain peningkatan skor, siswa pada kelompok eksperimen juga menunjukkan antusiasme dan keterlibatan yang lebih tinggi selama proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa media Big Book efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia, sekaligus mendukung penerapan pembelajaran aktif dan kontekstual di sekolah dasar.
