Abstract

The economic welfare of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) and Kindergarten (TK) teachers holding Part-Time Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) status in Telaga District remains a challenge requiring tactical solutions. Although many teachers already possess independent business units (MSMEs), such as culinary products, stationery, and furniture, their marketing effectiveness is still hindered by low digital literacy. This community service activity aims to enhance teachers' digital marketing competence through the Digital Teacherpreneurship concept. The implementation method employs the Participatory Action Learning (PAL) approach, encompassing problem recognition, digital platform transformation, and promotional network synergy phases. Data analysis was conducted using a descriptive qualitative technique through participatory observation. The results indicate an 85% increase in participants' digital understanding. Participants successfully configured digital storefronts using the WhatsApp Business Catalog feature and initiated collective cross-promotion strategies. This innovation proved effective in expanding market reach without additional costs, while simultaneously maintaining teachers' economic stability without compromising their professional integrity at school.

Abstract

The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has both positive and negative impacts on students. AI can help students understand lessons, summarize material, and also encourage student independence in learning. However, this convenience has the potential to make students dependent on AI and decrease critical thinking skills. Therefore, it is important to conduct outreach about the use of AI in schools, especially YPK Imanuel Pasir Putih High School. The methods used in this community service are lectures and question and answer sessions. This activity aims to provide students with an understanding and wisdom in using AI. The result of this PKM activity is to increase high school students' awareness of utilizing AI technology as a learning tool.

Abstract

This community service activity was conducted to increase the productivity of student publications through training and mentoring in compiling scientific papers based on Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The main challenges faced by students are their low ability to write systematic scientific articles and their lack of experience in scientific publications. The implementation stages of the activity consist of preparation, training, intensive mentoring, and evaluation. Training will be provided focused on the structure of scientific articles, strategies for finding reputable scientific literature sources, and the application of the SLR method. Mentoring is carried out continuously until students produce a draft of a scientific article. The results of the PKM activity show a significant increase in students' understanding and skills in producing scientific papers as seen from the increase in post-test scores by 35% compared to the pre-test score. In addition, 30% of them are ready to be submitted to national journals. This activity has made a very positive contribution to improving academic culture and student readiness in scientific publication.

Abstract

Community Service (KKN) is one of the forms of student service to the community as a manifestation of the implementation of higher education's tri dharma. KKN Group 2 of STT Migas Balikpapan was carried out in Teritip Village, East Balikpapan District, Balikpapan City, East Kalimantan during the period of September 8 to October 18, 2025. The main focus of the work program was the application of pyrolysis technology as an innovative solution for managing plastic waste into alternative fuel. The waste problem in Teritip Village is a serious concern given the sub-optimal waste management system in RT.30. Implementation methods included socialization, demonstration of pyrolysis equipment at SMPN 13 Balikpapan, The results of the activity showed an increase in community awareness towards sustainable waste management, as well as high enthusiasm from students and residents in accepting pyrolysis technology. Abstract

Embalming a corpse is a matter that must be handled promptly. Therefore, it is important for all Muslims to know about it. Although shrouding a corpse is a fardhu kifayah (obligatory duty) in Islam, there is a great reward for a Muslim who cares for others, including caring for the corpse, as not all Muslims are willing to know or even participate in it. Therefore, the knowledge of the congregation of the prayer room or mosque needs to be continuously updated and even honed so that they fully understand the steps and procedures involved in shrouding a corpse, from preparing the cloth to tying it. This community service activity was carried out through interactive module presentations interspersed with questions and answers, and concluded with independent group practice. The implication of this training was the formation of the musholla Al-Jihad care group, which specifically handles Muslim corpses in the Grand Mulia Kalisuren Housing Complex.

Abstract

The population of Indonesia is around 32%  still lives in districts/cities at risk of contracting malaria. In addition, there are 154 districts/cities that fall into the low endemic area strata, 31 moderate endemic areas and 23 highly endemic areas. Hanura Village, Pesawaran Regency is one of the villages in Lampung Province that is still classified as a malaria endemic area. Hanura Village is one of the coastal areas in Lampung Province that has a high potential for the spread of malaria. Humid environmental conditions, the presence of standing water, and lack of public awareness regarding prevention efforts make this area vulnerable to an increase in malaria cases. This community service aims to increase the understanding and awareness of the Hanura Village community about the risks of malaria and its prevention measures through a participatory approach that actively involves the community. Based on these problems, it is necessary to increase awareness of the coastal community in Hanura Village about the risks of malaria through a participatory approach. The activity is carried out in several stages, namely identifying problems with the community, socialization and discussions regarding malaria and its causative vectors, education on malaria control, the use of mosquito repellent plants, and healthy and clean living behaviors. Through participatory methods, the community becomes the main actor in designing and implementing solutions relevant to their local conditions. This activity was attended by 20 villagers consisting of hamlet heads, integrated health post (Posyandu) cadres, PKK cadres, and village staff. Based on the evaluation results of the written test at the beginning of the activity (pre-test) and the written test at the end of the activity (post-test) of this training, showed an increase in knowledge of 37.8%. This activity was deemed successful because it was able to increase the understanding and awareness of the coastal community regarding the risk of malaria. The participants who attended were very enthusiastic about participating in the series of trainings and provided positive responses that are expected to support efforts to reduce malaria cases in Hanura Village.

Abstract

Sekincau Village is a hilly area with soil conditions that are favorable for horticultural crop cultivation, including vegetables. The farmers in Sekincau Village generally have a good understanding and mastery of horticultural cultivation techniques, but they lack adequate knowledge about the roles and functions of plant organs, especially the root and leaf organs, which are crucial for plant growth and development. The problem is how to help the farmers in Sekincau Village gain knowledge about the roles and functions of plant root and leaf organs. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge to the farmers in Sekincau Village about the roles and functions of plant root and leaf organs. To achieve this goal, training on observing and explaining the functions of plant root and leaf organs was conducted using the lecture method. It is hoped that the farmers will not only understand the importance of plant care from seed, fertilization, to harvest age with proper treatment and maintenance, but also realize the importance of the functions of root and leaf organs, which will ultimately affect increased productivity and improve agricultural income. Based on the training conducted, there was an increase in the participants' knowledge and understanding regarding the important roles of root and leaf functions in improving plant productivity. The average increase in participants' knowledge was 33.1 points. The hope for the future is that the knowledge and understanding gained will not only improve, but also be applied in planting and maintaining crops to achieve optimal productivity results.
