Abstract

The purpose of the training activity is to improve the religiosity of students by facilitating access to the yellow book which is presented in Malay so that it is easier for students to read it. This service method uses the Service Learning method which is a form of learning process strategy that integrates benefits for the community through appropriate learning and evaluation, provides many learning experiences, builds a sense of responsibility, and strengthens the community. The activities were carried out on 4 and 18 September 2024 at 15.00-17.00 WIB, and on 2 and 16 October 2024 at 15.00-17.00 WIB. The results of the training activities showed a significant increase in students' ability to read the yellow book in Malay through structured methods and motivation to add insight into religious knowledge individually. This training not only provides benefits in the intellectual aspect, but also plays an important role in the formation of students' religious character

Abstract

The aim of this community service activity is that students are able to understand the improvement of basic understanding of village financial accounting among students at SMA Negeri 1 Losari, Brebes Regency. Students are able to understand material about the basics of village financial accounting in depth so that they can practically apply it after completing their studies and are able to face every problem that exists in the village easily. This community service was carried out on Tuesday, January 16 2024, which was attended by 35 grade 11 students. The distance between the campus and the school is approximately 39.4 km using car transportation. The methods used in this community service activity include the lecture method, discussion method in delivery, apart from that, the community service team also conducted a survey directly at the location of SMA Negeri 1 Losari, Brebes Regency for initial data collection. The team also carried out observations and interviews with the school in order to find problems for this community service activity. As a result of this community service activity, students were able to understand both theoretically and in the field (Village) about village financial management obtained from the results of discussions and questions and answers.

Abstract

This community service initiative aims to improve the performance of communal stalls in the Kahyangan Highway tourist area, Magelang Regency through digital marketing strategies. This activity, which was implemented on May 15, 2024, involved stall owners, academics from Tidar University, and digital marketing practitioners. The program focused on intensive training related to website development, social media management, and augmented reality technology. The results showed a significant increase in market visibility and customer traffic, leading to increased sales. The program also provided new insights to the warung owners on the importance of digital marketing for business competitiveness. Despite challenges such as limited access to advanced technology and the need for ongoing technical support, the program confirmed the great potential of digital marketing strategies to empower community-based tourism enterprises. The importance of continuous collaboration between academics and community stakeholders was also emphasized to support sustainable local economic development.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide understanding and training in using the SPSS application in statistical data processing. This activity was attended by 12 students of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, Sunan Ampel State Islamic University, Surabaya on November 14, 2024 through the Google Meet application. The mentoring activity was carried out through stages, preliminary stage, implementation stage and evaluation stage. The results of the mentoring were obtained by participants being able to understand and practice the application in statistical data processing activities. Participants were also able to prepare the application starting from installation to use.

Abstract

Banjarsari Village has several advantages that can be used as a tourist destination. Assistance activities aim to make this tourism potential is better known to the public, it will allow the growth of tourists so that it can increase income. This community service program was carried out in November 2023 through identifying problems, designing solutions and implementing solutions in the form of outreach and training in managing websites and social media. The social media recommended for use as marketing media are Tiktok, Instagram and Youtube. This activity encourages the people of Banjarsari Village to be more familiar with digital media so they can manage social media and websites with interesting content to promote tourism in Banjarsari Village. Participants know the function and use of websites and social media as digital marketing tools regarding Banjarsari Village tourism. Marketing MSME products via social media can increase partner sales by 41.67% for average sales per week.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the understanding and skills of the residents of Dempel Village, Geneng Subdistrict, Ngawi Regency, in utilizing functional foods to support stunting reduction. The main focus is on training participants to produce high-nutrient date milk enriched with Himalayan salt, specifically targeted at pregnant women and members of the PKK women’s group. The team from PSDKU Agribusiness Management Campus 5 Ngawi provided education through counseling and hands-on practice in date milk production.  This community service activity was conducted on January 16, 2025, in Dempel Village, Geneng Subdistrict, Ngawi Regency, attended by 20 pregnant women and PKK members. The outcome of this program was the successful understanding of the steps to produce date milk with Himalayan salt, enabling participants to independently replicate the process. In addition to contributing to stunting prevention efforts, this activity also serves as a foundational idea and creates new business opportunities for the community by developing economically valuable local products.

Abstract

Stunting remains a significant challenge in efforts to improve the quality of life. One of the main causes is the lack of balanced nutritional intake for children during their early developmental years. The village of Dempel, located in Geneng Subdistrict, Ngawi Regency, possesses local resources such as catfish and moringa leaves, which are rich in nutrients but have yet to be fully utilized. This community service program aims to empower PKK cadres in the village of Dempel by introducing an innovative approach to processing fortified catfish nuggets with moringa leaves. The program was on Wednesday 16 January 2025 and the method used is conducted using the Community Development (ComDev) method, starting with problem identification discussions with partners, followed by program design, and finally implementing training sessions. The initiative garnered great enthusiasm from the women participants, as it taught them new skills that could be directly applied in their daily lives. Through this program, it is expected that PKK cadres will not only be able to provide healthy food for their families but also create new business opportunities that can enhance household welfare.
