Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide assistance to MSME actors in providing knowledge about product branding to increase buyer attraction and selling value of Opak Singkong MSMEs in Cilimus Village, Teluk Pandan District, Pesawaran Regency, Lampung. This activity is held through face-to-face training (On the spot training) with methods that include lectures, question and answer sessions, and assignments to participants. Product branding assistance is a very important effort in increasing buyer attraction and selling value of opaque cassava MSME products in Cilimus Village, Teluk Pandan District, Pesawaran Regency. Through this activity, MSME participants are given a better understanding of the importance of branding in building consumer trust in products. The result is an improvement in logo design that fits their brand and products, as well as the ability to market products more effectively.

Abstract

The aim of community service activities is to provide learning motivation through the use of Ice Breaking and Visual Media at MI Islamiyah Bumijaya. The implementation of PKM activities is carried out in several activity stages, including Problem Identification, Preparation of Program Plans, Training and Preparation, Program Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation and Preparation of Final Reports. The results of this PKM activity obtained good results, such as increased motivation, student activity in class, and increased student learning concentration both in class and outside of class. The active involvement of teachers, students and parents has contributed to the success of this PKM program. This shows that investment in education has a positive impact on students' development and creates a brighter future for them

Abstract

Bongan Village is a potential tourist village facing challenges such as limited infrastructure, low tourist visits, dependence on the government, and a lack of human resources. The community service program helps village members explore their potential, enhance their competencies, and utilize digital marketing strategies. A total of 20 village youths participated in the community service program held in August 2023. The program aims to foster village development through socialization, training, and monitoring. Objectives encompass ensuring tourism operations run smoothly, empowering locals as tourism contributors, enhancing the village's appeal to tourists, boosting visitor numbers, and elevating community income. This Community Service Program complies with Indonesia's National Education System Law and unfolds in three phases: socialization, training, and monitoring, propelling Bongan Village toward self-sustaining tourism growth.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to examine strategies for optimizing the empowerment of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the production and marketing of palm sugar based on the principles of local wisdom. The method used involves observation, counseling, mentoring and implementation evaluation. This dedication contributes to further understanding of how Micro, Small and Medium Palm Sugar Enterprises can play a role in sustainable development and the local economy. The policy implications resulting from this research can help the government and other stakeholders in supporting the empowerment of Micro, Small and Medium Palm Sugar Enterprises based on local wisdom and improving the welfare of local communities

Abstract

This community service aims to provide assistance to the people of Bulangan Gresik Village in determining the right strategy for marketing for the MSME sector. The method used is PAR (Participatory Action Research). The service stages start from preliminary research, acculturation, community organizing for the research agenda, action planning for social change, action, and evaluation. The results of the service are (1) Education through seminars on the introduction of packaging and branding; (2) Providing training for product branding and product packaging; (3) Training to create marketplace accounts such as Shoppe, Lazada, Bukalapak; (4) maximizing social media such as Whats App, Instagram, Telegram, Tiktok for digital marketing promotions, (5) Establishing collaboration with traditional and modern industries and stalls.

Abstract

This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to disseminate useful knowledge regarding the usefulness of Classroom Action Research to improve the professional competence of teachers at the Saifullah An-Nadliyah Modern Islamic Boarding School. The PKM method takes the form of lectures, simulations and discussions. The results of activities measured using the oral question and answer method prove that there is an increase in the knowledge and understanding of participants (Islamic boarding school teachers) regarding the use of Classroom Action Research in Islamic boarding schools. The participants were motivated to apply the Classroom Action Research method in real terms in various aspects of the learning process. The realization of PKM activities is expected to increase quality learning output and outcomes, teacher professional competence, as well as the quality of Islamic boarding school institutions as a choice of place to study that is increasingly in demand by society today.

Abstract

Community Service Activities (PKM) with the theme financial education aim to build a culture of financial literacy among Isen Mulang Palangka Raya Middle School students. PKM activities were initiated and implemented by lecturers and students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Palangka Raya University. There were 16 students who attended this educational activity consisting of 6 class VII students, 3 class VIII students, and 7 class IX students. Student enthusiasm is very high. This is demonstrated by the high level of interaction between students and presenters as well as responses from written questionnaires distributed by the Team at the end of the activity. There are 7 questions related to financial management asked by students to the presenters as well as 12 quizzes from the presenters which the students are able to answer.

Abstract

Cultivating BSF maggots can be used to decompose organic waste. This community service activity aims to: (1) find out the amount and sorting of organic waste produced by Bawuran village residents; (2) Bawuran village residents have a special place for organic waste and organic waste sorting; (3) Bawuran village Youth Organization is able to cultivate BSF maggots; (4) Bawuran village Youth Organization is able to utilize the results of BSF Maggot cultivation; (5) The government/residents of Bawuran village have a waste education tourist attraction. The method of implementing community service activities is by means of training and mentoring. As a result of this community service activity, the residents of Bawuran village have a waste sorting place, Karang Taruna is able to cultivate BSF maggots and there is a waste education tour in Puncak Sosok. This community service activity provides waste processing solutions, community empowerment and adds economic value to community income by utilizing waste cultivation products and educational tourism.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide education about the importance of students at Permata Harapan Batam School being smart in responding to the Artificial Intelligence trend. This activity was attended by 33 participants. Delivery of material is carried out using video conferencing, namely using the zoom application. From the results of this service activity, it is known that after participating in this educational activity, it was found that the students of Permata Harapan Batam School stated that this service activity was very useful, in that the students became aware of the skill requirements that must be possessed to be needed in the future in facing the world of work. gain new knowledge and understand the importance of Artificial Intelligence in the current era of digitalization.

Abstract

The aim of this community service is to provide knowledge about the role of parents and children's language development. Socialization assistance activities are carried out through the preparation stage, implementation stage, program evaluation stage and reporting stage. The targets of this service are parents or guardians of TKA/TPA/DTA Bustanul Ulum students. The result of this service is that there are several roles of parents that can support early childhood language development, including (a) introducing good and correct greetings in the family, (b) practicing the pronunciation of short or simple sentences when receiving, requesting and asking questions. to other people, (c) inviting children to recognize objects around them, (d) inviting children to talk, (e) reading stories or fairy tales, and (f) implementing a democratic parenting style.
